Villa was great and had everything we needed. Svjetlana was a lovely host and couldn't have been more helpful, giving us local recommendations and going above and beyond to help us out. Kastela is a beautiful, quiet area that was well suited to our trip as it is still very easy to access places like Split and Trogir.

Great communal areas, good sized rooms and a comfortable pool area in a good location for exploring the surrounding areas

We were met by the owners when we arrived at the villa who let us into the property and showed us around. We were given their contact number in case we needed anything throughout the week (and when we had some language barriers with a food delivery they stepped in to help!). First impressions were that the villa was beautiful and spotless. The rooms were lovely and big with plenty of storage and the outside of the villa was just perfect for sunbathing while the kids played in the garden. It was late and very dark when we arrived so worth noting that it's the road with the yellow and black posts by the side- take that turning and go to the end of the road and the villa is on the left. The villa was in close proximity to local supermarkets. Most days we walked (10mins) to the Tommy store for bread and milk and drove 2 miles to Lidl for a larger shop. We could also walk (15 mins) to the sea, where we picked up a pre-arranged water taxi for a tour of the islands. It's about a 25 min drive into split but allow longer as parking is not easy but it is definitely worth the visit!
