Very peaceful..... until we turned up!

We were there for the IOW round the island road bike riding. Had a nice time. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and well equipped.

We were looking for a short break just before Christmas to unwind, perfect. The property has fantastic sea views, beautify set out and well maintained.

Cottage delightful and had “Everything” one needed. Sea views and tranquil location were absolutely perfect. Profusion of stars + a shooting star magical!

I booked this property to take my bestie away for her 50th birthday and we had a ball thank you. The holiday house was perfect in every way, I cannot single any one thing out we loved it all. We explored pretty much all corners of the island and both want to return. We didn't see any Red squirrels so we will have to return!! Thanks again to the owner.

Mole End has everything you could possibly want for a holiday. It really is a home from home. The welcome pack is a very thoughtful extra. Lovely accommodation...spacious and so well equipped. Location is wonderful...quiet and yet near enough to Ventnor centre to walk. Superb scenery and only a short walk from the stunning coastline. 5 stars. Will return.

This property couldn't be any more perfect. I took my elderly mother away for the Christmas period and stayed a few days at Mole End. Everything managed to exceed our expectations... The kitchen is a dream for anyone who loves to cook. The loving room personifies cosiness and is helped massively by the log fire and comfy sofas. Upstairs, the bathroom boasts a tub with views of the sea and the bedrooms are equipped with the most comfortable beds. The location of Mole End is fantastic - only minutes away from the beaches and cliffside walks. I cannot recommend this property enough. I will definitely be returning in the future.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at Mole End. The cottage is very comfortable and warm with everything you need for a nice stay. The views were wonderful and it’s a short walk to the coast trail which runs along the bluff.

We brought my sister and brother-in-law as a birthday treat and we were all very pleased with the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the hosts. We all slept well. The sea views are perfect. Shame it wasn’t cold enough to light the log burner or Aga but did flick the switch on the electric log burner. We also cooked up a wonderful meal night two. Having had a stunning meal first night at the Restaurant tu la Monde in high street Ventnor. We would love to stay again. Tim and Linda DB

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Mole End at the end of June and we had the most memorable time. The house feels cosy, yet still with so much room for our two little scamps (aged 1 and 3) to explore. From the welcome basket on arrival, to the many books for both adults and children (some lovely choices for the children), to the incredibly relaxing bathroom and snug for little ones. So much attention to detail has been employed to make sure a comfortable and fun stay was had by all. The kitchen was magnificently equipped which was just wonderful. It felt like a real home from home. In short, we all loved it! I was already imagining a Christmas getaway before noticing the cottage is already booked...maybe next year? I urge any family to stay here. It is a charming spot to make your base to explore the island. We were lucky that we had wall to wall sunshine but I can only imagine Mole End would be a beautiful stay whatever the weather. There is a charming cove with lovely spots to eat a short-walk away and Lev's suggestions and information in terms of eating, drinking and exploring covered anything and everything. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time. We will absolutely return!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Mole End. It looks nice in the online pictures but they don't show you the half of it really. It is beautifully done, with everything you could possibly need (we used the blender and the baby bath seat, for example). There are great sea views from the dining area, the master bedroom and the bathroom (including the shower and the loo!) and the sleepy village it is set in is gorgeous. The owner was pleasant, friendly, professional and always replied to emails promptly and the property was very clean. The provisions of butter, bread, eggs, milk and a bottle of wine were much-appreciated. We visited all 4 corners of the island and most things were within half an hour's drive (or much closer). It exceeded our expectations in every way, we all had a fantastic holiday (2 parents and 3 kids aged 4 and under).

Stylish, well-equipped cottage in an exceptionally peaceful location. Wonderful views, easy access to coast path and even a small shingle beach within walking distance. We loved it.

This is a lovely home. The owners were very communicative and gave us fantastic instructions for the house and surrounding area. The house is bigger than the photos suggest. There is a small snug upstairs which we used as a third bedroom for our toddler (in his travel cot). The master bedroom and bathroom have stunning views. Downstairs there is a very well appointed kitchen and the sitting room is a great space to relax in. The owners left a lovely welcome food package which we really appreciated. We were able to walk to the pretty local beach and loved the village itself. We had a fantastic stay and would love to return.

Not only the property, but St Lawrence and this corner of the Isle of Wight deliver well beyond what we had expected. Both reasonably priced and well appointed, Mole End is a fantastic property to get away from it all. There are some fabulous coastal walks surrounding the house, which as others have said, is much larger than the photos suggest, and the wider landscape is simply beautiful, combining the ruggedness of a cliff coast with secluded coves, with a manicured and matured Victorian-garden landscape of evergreen oaks, crumbly stone walls and lush temperate planting. All mod-cons are provided, and all services are in easy reach. We stayed in the winter, and the cottage was incredibly cosy, but it would be glorious in the summer too. Lev was ever available to answer queries promptly and efficiently. Definitely one to recommend.

We fell in love with this cottage as soon as we walked In through the door. Perfectly situated in a quiet location with amazing views and coastal walks only minutes away. Absolutely nothing negative to say about the experience and the owners obviously go to a lot of trouble to make their guests feel welcome and at home. It was our first visit to the Isle of Wight and I'm not sure why we haven't been before - we'll definitely be back!

Christmas at Mole End was most enjoyable. The cottage is clean and well appointed and has a fantastic layout which afforded comfort and relaxation. Wonderful views of the sea from our bedroom and the bathroom. Great thought has gone into making this a holiday home with a view to comfort and relaxation. Mole End ticked all our boxes and we would certainly love to visit again.

We have just returned from a short stay at this beautiful cottage. It is located in one of our favourite spots on the island, with easy access to a lovely coastal walk down to Steephill Cove and the views from the upstairs rooms and the outside garden/terrace are stunning. The cottage itself is really well equipped, extremely cosy and was very clean and well maintained. The booking process was really easy and Lev, the owner, provided helpful and clear information regarding directions, the cottage itself and the surrounding area. We'd happily return to Mole End and would heartily recommend it to anyone seeking a 'home from home' holiday cottage.
