Typical Alentejan home, with ceramics, a fireplace and all the comfort details you may need. Very good value for money and lots of space for myself and 4 other family members. The owner was very nice on arrival, showing us around how to work the heating, the kitchen, fireplace, etc. Home very convenient if you are visiting the Castle of Monsaraz or crossing over to and from Spain (the border less than 2km away).

The house is a gorgeous little cozy place, perfect for a quiet relaxing stay in the winter in front of the cast iron stove fireplace. The kitchen and dining room are very well equipped, plenty of bathrooms and the town is perfect for a stroll at night to look at the stars. Great location to explore Monsaraz and the surrounding countryside.

The beds could be a bit more comfortable and the AC/Heat system in the main bedroom was not working well, but we had enough warmth from the stove.
