Large family and really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Facilities great and easy to get to the shops and slopes. The living room is fabulous and lighting the fire at night and having enough room for us all to sit, eat and chat was brilliant. Thanks Fiammetta for hosting us.

La casa e' ampia, comoda, ben fornita e ottimamente tenuta. In particolare la mansarda e' molto spaziosa e permette anche a un gruppo grande come il nostro (12 persone) di mangiare tutti assieme e di avere piacevolissimi momenti di socialita'. Fiammetta e' stata una padrona di casa estremamente cortese e disponibile, offrendoci anche del tempo extra senza problemi. La casa e' vicina a un piccolo negozio di alimentari e a due passi dalla fermata della navetta. Non abbiamo purtroppo potuto apprezzare la comodita' di avere la pista da fondo appena fuori casa a causa della mancanza di neve, ma ci rifaremo sicuramente in futuro. Grazie di tutto.

We really enjoyed our stay in the house of Fiammetta and her family. The location is great and there are plenty of great restauarants in the neighbourhood. We had plenty of space in the big attick where we could easily stay with 11 big people from Holland :-). The beds on the first floor were a bit small for some of us though. Fiammetta is fantastic host who helped us out on everything, even a garage for the flat tire we discovered on one of our cars the last day. We would love to return to La Thuile and to Fiametta & family's house. Lots of love from the gang from Holland!

Casa impeccabile, ampia e funzionale con Fiammetta che ci ha guidato durante la vacanza rispondendo sempre puntualmente alle nostre richieste. Negozi e ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi. Attrattive come il Monte Bianco, il Lago di Arpy, il lago di Verney e le Cascate Rutor raggiungibili in macchina in tempi brevi. Alessandro

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property in La Thuile. The accommodation was perfect for a large family group with plenty of bedrooms. We especially liked the very large upstairs living / dining / kitchen area where we could relax together in front of the fireplace in the evening after a hard day on the slopes. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful and provided us with lots of useful local information. The ski lifts are an easy 10 minutes walk and we were able to leave our ski equipment in the lockers provided by the very friendly Berthod Ski rental. So we didn’t need to carry our skis to and from the chalet. We loved the friendly people of La Thuile and the delicious Italian food and our favorite place to eat on the slopes was ‘Le Petit Skier’

Fiammetta was a fantastic host - and extremely helpful both before and after booking. She put us in touch with local transport, recommended restaurants and other villages/ski areas to visit. The house was perfect for a group of our size (11), and everyone had comfortable stay. The attic is huge with a dining area, lounge area and has a great wood fire heater. All beds/mattresses were comfortable and the house also has central heating. The kitchen fully equipped with utensils for cooking with a dishwasher, oven, stovetop, washing machine. The house is a five to 10 minute walk from both the ski gondola and town centre (in ski boots!), with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket en route. The ski area of La Thuile is phenomenal. Plenty of piste for all abilities - and access to off piste for more advanced skiers. It was also possible to ski into the neighbouring french resort La Rosiere. The house does not appear to be fitted with smoke detectors. While this was not an issue for us, it is something we are used to having. We did wonder if perhaps it was not a requirement in Italy.

Abbiamo passato 4 giorni nel periodo di capodanno in questa proprietà. Casa comoda e bellissima, eravamo in 14 ragazzi e siamo stati davvero bene.

Very happy with our stay in La Thuile with 4 adults and 4 children. We could easily have hosted more people as we had a spare bedroom and some sofa beds in the living room. The Chalet is easily walkable to the lifts and although the bus back was an option we actually walked back every day. The Chalet is large and comfortable with a lovely wood burner, plenty of wood and hot water for the two showers and one bath. We will more than likely book again when we go back to La Thuile. We were two families sharing the house for a week's skiing in the Easter holidays. We found the house comfortable, well equipped and perfectly good for a mix of adults, teenagers and young children. It was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was a great welcome pack and the communication from the owners was excellent. It is only a few minutes drive, or even a walk, to the slopes. The village is quiet but there is plenty of choice for an evening meal. If a comfortable, practical house is all you need while concentrating on skiing then this is an ideal choice.

Een huis op een mooie plek, op loopafstand van de lift met een alimentaria om de hoek. Maar ook een huis in een zeer slechte staat van onderhoud. De verwarming werkte niet goed en viel regelmatig uit, beide boilers gingen stuk, de keukenafvoer was verstopt, de elektriciteit viel uit bij het gebruik van meerdere apparaten en het stonk af en toe naar stookolie. Daarnaast is het meubilair erg oud, de keuken inrichting ronduit slecht en zeker niet geschikt voor 14 personen. Wij waren met 7 personen. Kortom veel ellende. Dagelijks contact gehad met de beheerder over de gebreken. Tot twee keer toe werklui over de vloer gehad voor reparaties. Niet kunnen douchen vanwege kapotte boilers! Absoluut geen aanrader.

Originally booked for 6 friends annual skiing trip to Italy, unfortunately we ended up as a group of 4. The property is very comfortable for this number as you'd expect and the communal area lounge/diner is a great area to relax in the evenings after a days skiing. The ski bus takes you from a stop a short walk away to the base lifts and runs to the timetable well. On the way back it stops almost outside. The kitchen is well equipped and we used it extensively during our stay. There is a local shop for pasta, bread, fruit and vegetables but it doesn't stock meat to cook with, just antipasti style meat. The owner was very helpful during the booking process and both handovers went smoothly. Grazie mille. Bill

We had a nice stay here, in a nice village, accessing a big enough ski area (Italy and France reachable with one skipass). Large enough to accomodate two families, with two bathrooms and a spacious living room. We were there around Christmas and it was really not busy at the pistes. Mostly Italians, almost no foreign tourists at that time. Considering returning next year.

We had a very pleasant stay at the house this winter. We were with 4 adults and 4 children and had lots of space. It was a very warm welcome by Letizia with a basket full of local products at arrival. Her husband came to help us with removing the snow from the driving after a day full of snow. We had a lovely winterholiday in a beautiful landscape and great skiing.

We had the most wonderful stay at this property and hope to return one day for another great La Thuile experience. The property advertisement was very accurate and the home was very comfortable, had a relaxed, inviting atmosphere and gave us a place to relax and rest in between some great skiing. There were ten of us in our group and the home was more than big enough to accommodate us all. The spacious living area upstairs gave us the option of relaxing in the lounge, playing board games or enjoying meals at the big dining room table and cooking up delicious meals in the kitchen. We chose to rent lockers at Berthod Ski which was a great option. It meant we could walk down to the gondola in the morning to collect our gear, enjoy a great day of skiing and then leave all our gear again at the end of the day giving us an easy walk home. Highly recommended. There was a bus down to the gondola but we ended up walking and enjoying the scenery. The views of the village, the mountains and the gondola were great and the supermarket and restaurants were an easy walk away. Fiammetta could not have been more helpful in making our stay a pleasant one - she was so friendly and did all she could to answer our questions both before and during our stay. A great home away from home - we hope to be back really soon!

We have 5 wonderful days at the Chalet. Loads of space for 3 families and very comfortable. Fiammetta was very helpful with all our enquiries and gave us a lovely welcome. Would love to come back again.

Nous n'avons pas eu de chance pour la météo cette année, mais nous reviendrons l'année prochaine. La maison est parfaite, la propriétaire est toujours agréable et très serviable. Une très bonne adresse !!!

nous avons loué ce bien une semaine pour un séjour sportif le cadre est agréable, belle vue, le logement est grand , idéal pour famille nombreuse ou groupe d'amis, et surtout bien équipé merci aux propriétaire pour leur réactivité et leur accueil à recommander!

We had a lovely week in this really fantastic house. It has a wonderful view of the ski fondo and mountains. The whole house has a really nice atmosphere and we settled in very quickly. The fire was warm and cosy and we found the location excellent. There is a shop and bus stop really near the house. and the walk to the lift station is very pleasant alongside one of La Thuile's many rivers if you prefer it to the ski bus. There are restaurants not too far away if you choose to eat out, but eating in is lovely and the cooker is fantastic. The owner was very warm and helpful and settled us in nicely. We will definitely be back if we self-cater in La Thuile again.

Such a lovely house and warm welcome. Plenty of room for our group of 10. Nice living room upstairs with a dining alcove. The house was clean, cosy and compliant with the advert. You can find the accurate location of the house in Google Maps with the address of Frazione Villaret 38. Not a big thing, but the heating is a bit hard to handle - a comfortable temperature in the bedrooms downstairs means heat in the living room. Wi-fi connection worked smoothly most of the time, but went down at the end of our staying. There is a small shop only 100 m from the house. Good restaurants and a nice bar with a table soccer and a small dance floor within 10 minutes walk. A ski bus takes you to the slopes, in case you don't want to walk or ski for 15 minutes to the gondola. Overall, I recommend this accommodation and La Thuile. Fiammetta, the owner, is very nice.
