We loved the space that the villa offered us for our two families of 4! There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and the pool and outdoor areas are fantastic for meals and drinks. The property is located on the top of a beautiful hill with an incredible view of the sea.
The villa is around 20 mins from around 10 coves that have the most beautiful clear water.
The host Phillipos helped us with a few areas to visit in the area as well as provided us will excellent restraint options in Rogdia and surrounds.
You will not regret this villa! It’s beautiful, modern, spacious with everything you could possibly want.
You definately need a car to be here though.

The house is truly amazing. Great views, it's in the mountain, so it's a bit more chilly than downtown, which is great for the summer. The pool is really clean, and the host was very helpful.
The car rental service offered was not at the same level as the house. We paid for a high-end car, that we expected to be in line with the house, and be adapted to the steep road leading up to it. Sadly, the car was old and not very fitting to the roads we had the drive. Other than that, everything was perfect. I would recommend looking for a car on your own.

The location of the villa was great with an unbeleaveble view including the sunrise in the morning.
We were welcomed to the villa by Giannis, at first site we realized that in reality the villa is amazing in so many ways that the pictures in booking cannot show.
The villa was equipped including a fully equipped kitchen at the highest level. We were surprised to find that Giannis prepared a basket full of goodies and treats for us, not to mention the refrigerator which was also full of basic groceries and beyond.
Throughout our stay there was nothing missing in the villa and Giannis was in constant contact with us, took care of our requests and even warmly recommended places to hang out.
There is no doubt that the villa was above and beyond our expectations.
The hosts and the villa are amazing, we will be back!!!!

The relaxed location; the sights and the sounds of nothing but nature. Beautiful location; beautiful house. There is a little cabin which would suit young family or me and the missus snoring to not annoy others!
It is an interesting road up, but the host was on whatsapp and met us and showed us up. suggest powerful hire car - and do get hire car. Not far to places but mainly driven.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they decorated the place with ballons and champagne since it was our honeymoon. The view, privacy and comfort are the big assets of the villa. Fairly close to heraklion so the possibility for tours to other islands is there.
The location is a bit tricky to access but the owners were very helpful and lead the way up the mountain in their car. The whirlpool does not have heating, but during a very hot summer it should not be a problem.

Although it is not in the city, the view is perfect, having a panorama over the city and the sea.
It has an infinity pool and two terraces.
Very much space, with 3 bedrooms and a huge living room in the large villa. There is also a small house with a bedroom and a living room.
3 bathrooms (2 in the large villa and 1 in the small house) even though on booking is mentioned just 1 bathroom.
Very helpful host. You can write him anytime, any question and he will try to give you best advices.
No large garbage container near the villa. You have to take the trash bags with you when going to the village.

Spacious villa, well-equipped, very comfortable beds. Large terrace with a jacuzzi, beautiful panorama. Very quiet, ideal retreat.

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at this house. It was a very modern house with all the facilities you need. The view was amazing and waking up there truly felt like a paradise. Our stay was even more pleasant because of our friendly host who Giannis gave us a lot of information and when we needed recommendations he would give his good recommendations of places to see and restaurants to eat. We thank Giannis a lot for his hospitality!

Villa Rodea was truly a 5 star experience. The property itself is a gem with breathtaking views of the sea and city - both at day and nigh, every comfort and amenity available inside the spacious villa. Every detail has been carefully considered and thought through. We were a large family and not for a moment did we feel anything was amiss. The best part of the villa is the Kosmos Travel team that looked after us so well. It was like having a family locally, who were there to look after your every need. Right from receiving us at the airport, showing us around the villa, recommending places to eat and see and helping with the smallest things with such professionalism and friendliness. I have travelled to many countries and paid a lot of money for different villas and experiences around the world, but never experienced the great levels of service that we received at Villa Rodea. Special thanks to Giannis, Anastasios and Thodoris who made our stay so delightful!
