The house is very spacious, comfortable, clean and conveniently located. We were only a half block to a beach access. The house has all we needed from beach towels to appliances to dishes to an assortment of games, cards, and books. A great house and we'll definitely try to get it again next time we go to SSI

A well-stocked kitchen and comfortable furnishings made it seem like home, but the art and historical decor helped us fall in love with beautiful Saint Simons Island. Plenty of space on the first floor for 5 adults, but wished we had some children along to make use of the cozy bunk room upstairs! House is located in a very comfortable neighborhood for relaxing on the porch or walking around. Can't wait to come back!

This was a wonderful property with more than enough room for 5 adults and 3 children. The history of the family and the home was fascinating. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is a bit of a walk to the beach, but that seems to be the case for all East Beach houses in this neighborhood.

We were celebrating with our 5 children, two grandchildren and son in law. This home had ample room for all of us. There was plenty of room to hang out together in the living room or go take a nap and feel like we had private spaces for that. The bunk room upstairs was a good getaway or hang out spot Everyone said their beds were really comfy!We loved being able to eat as a group in the dining room or kitchen. We had fun on the ‘secret path’ to the beach—so easy to get to the water! We played in the sand morning and night, enjoyed sunrise and sunset beach walks. We rented bikes one afternoon and went all over the island. Of course we stopped for ice cream at Moo Cow—delicious! We ordered shrimp by the pound from Iguanas and enjoyed the best fried shrimp and sauce on the planet. In the evenings we played board games and cards, rocked in the porch chairs and laughed for hours! By the pier we love the playgrounds and shopping. This was a weekend getaway we will never forget!!!!!

There were some pest issues but the company was very responsive to treating that issue to prevent it in the future. Parking is ample and easy and the home was well-equipped for a large group of 10-12 people. I recommend it.

Our stay was great, my Bible study group wanted to take a relaxed trip to the beach and fell in love with St Simons and the neighborhood. It had great beach access and the beach was very clean and relaxed! We will for sure be back.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The location was in a great neighborhood and convenient to the beach, Light House, Pier, restaurants, shops, etc. It may not be the newest property in the area, but it was perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

The house felt loved in and was very well equipped and comfortable. At the end of our trip we accidentally left an important personal item at the room. We loved staying at this property - and found everything about the home, decor, and yard to be completely charming. The home was spotless. We ended up walking down to the 5th street beach access, which we found to be an easier walk with our wagon than the 3rd street beach access (no longer a passable access at 4th street). Would certainly stay here again in the future.

This property is on a quiet street and the photos online are an almost exact likeness to the actual house. It’s roomy with a great upstairs for children or teens. The walk to the beach is a little longer than expected but was manageable and we saw some beautiful wildlife on the way. I’d stay here again!

The TV process was cumbersome and very limited as to selection of items to watch. We spent most of the time looking for something to watch. The process was cumbersome. The house was clean and comfortable.
However, the shower curtain liner should be replaced in the main shower. All in all the house was adequately stocked and comfortable.

My experience renting this property started with a great web site which makes it easy to choose. The property we stayed at was spotless, beds very comfortable, and very easy to check in and out. I will be back.

We really enjoyed the location on East Beach. Our three kids, 7 and under, loved the upstairs “kids room.” Plenty of room for the adults and we had a few visitors come during our stay. Weather was perfect and we enjoyed meals at Barrier Island Brewing, Crab Daddies/Trap, Halyards and Sals. We’ll definitely look to rent this house again!
