The location is noisy on summer evenings due to its location above a beach bar and popular beach. Kitchen vent and three of the four gas burners were not operating properly. Many of the light in the home were burned out. Without opening the windows there is no air circulation (no fans or central air). Keeping the windows open, which is necessary given summer humidity and temperatures, increases street noise in the house. The king bed is terribly uncomfortable, so we ended up purchasing mattress toppers and additional pillows for the property. We also purchased a fan to move air around the house when shutting windows for passing rain storms. Dining room chairs are deteriorating, their pleather coating was crumbling off onto clothing and all over the floor. When we arrived the propane was empty and there was no hot water. The host we interacted with did come to the property and resolved the hot water issue and was kind enough to help locate parking. Overall, interactions with the host we met were pleasant but felt misleading following completion of our visit. Despite reaching out to the host for guidance on how to complete check out, we were given little guidance other than to leave the keys on the counter and mailbox and not to worry about clean up. We still tidied up and removed trash. After completing the visit the host commented negatively about our stay and falsely claimed damages against us. Recommend damage protection and avoidance of this property.

We stayed a week and enjoyed exploring the island. The host is very friendly and so helpful. The house is located steps from the beach, restaurants, and a lively nighttime scene. As hikers, we really appreciated having the washing machine and dryer!

We loved this house. It was perfect for us! The views are spectacular!! And the owners couldn’t be any nicer. We would book this house again.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. Candido welcomed us as if we were friends for years and was always available if needed. The home is well appointed and renovated and the view is breathtaking. walking distance to restaurants, stores, grocery and coffee shops.

Hosts Candido and Antonio have an amazing house located in the heart of Angra. The house was extremely clean and well appointed. My favorite part was the rooftop porch which gave a great view over Angra’s Harbor. Candido and Antonio were extremely welcoming and helpful for the 4 days I was there. Would highly recommend and am planning on returning.

Wow what a wonderful house to stay in! We had all the comforts of home with a view! The house is modern inside, the beds are comfortable and everything is like new. So glad we booked this house, it is so close to the beach, delicious cafes, shopping and more. Our hosts Candido and Antonio are the best! We mainly met with Candido and he is such a delightful person to talk to. He helped us with any questions we had and gave us wonderful suggestions for places to eat and places to see. We would see Candido around Angra during the day and he was so friendly! We are going to miss him but look forward to seeing him again on another visit and we would totally book this house again! This is a beautifully appointed house with all amenities. We loved our stay there, particularly having a glass of wine on the roof top overlooking the ocean. Cándido is exceptionally helpful in making sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He knows everyone in town and is able to direct you to the best eating places and highlights of the Island. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

I stayed here with my husband and 11 year old daughter for 4 nights, we arrived late on a Saturday night and was met by Candido who was lovely and despite it being late showed us around the house and was very helpful. The house is beautifully decorated, very modern and spotlessly clean, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need, the beds are very comfortable and the master bedroom overlooks the beach, it's amazing to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves! The Wi-Fi is good and the TV has lots of English channels. It was lovely to sit on the roof terrace for breakfast or later in the day and enjoy the views. There are lots of cafes and restaurants close by. We had an amazing time staying in Antonio and Candido's house and would not hesitate to book again if we come back, thank you!!
