Tommy the host was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and spacious enough for a budget guesthouse option. The location was great, easy to get to via the bus that travels between the cab car station.

Only thing that would have come in handy would have been a microwave in the rooms.

酒店位置不错，在奥之院与寺庙群的正中间，所以去哪都不远，而且不临街，非常的安静。房间很干净，住着很舒服。空调也很给力，洗澡水特别大。酒店老板很热情，我们下午不到两点钟到达也提前让我们入住，并详细讲解了高野山必打卡的几个游览项目，很棒！

浴室里面没有放置换洗衣服的设施，衣服得放在浴室外面，这就有点尴尬。

C'était parfait ! Les hôtes très accueillants et arrangeants ! L'emplacement est parfait, le gîte pour quatre est grand et très confortable. Et les hôtes ont également le petit café juste à côté du guest house, et pour le petit déjeuner c'est parfait ! Meilleurs petit déjeuner qu'on ait eu au Japon et de loin ! Je recommande totalement ! Au top!

The room is not luxurious and rather small, but has everything you need, is clean and neat and has a comfy bed. The location is very nice, away from the main road, quiet area. Breakfast in the lovely cafe next door is absolutely excellent and the owners put a lot of effort into making the guests feel comfortable: 12 out of 10!

Heating the room is not so easy as isolation of the house is not very good, but that seems to be a more general thing in Japan...probably they just keep rooms colder than we are used in the West.

The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we had in Japan. The facilities were amazing, with guest laundry as well. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was fabulous and excellent value for money.

Tommy and his wife are the friendliest, nicest older couple you could meet. He was born and raised in Koyasan and runs the cafe downstairs. The cafe is beautiful and peaceful - he makes drip coffee and matcha lattes with the uptmost care and the jazz is so relaxing. Full of charm. Accomodation is amazing value and very comfy.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts! The guest house was at a great location (very close to the bus stop and a convenience store) and the family room was very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it if you are not planning to do a temple stay at Koyasan! I also highly recommend visiting the cafe - great croissants and drinks!

The location in the middle of Koyasan is perfect. The room was clean and nice. The host is very attentive and helpful. We truly enjoyed breakfast at the little cafe. We highly recommend a stay.

We had breakfast (we paid) at Tommy's and Tommy and his wife were wonderful! Tommy's wife makes THE best orange cake and chicken and salad sandwiches! Location is perfect to be able to explore the town. SOOOOOOO quiet! Heater in the room meant a cosy night. Very clean and comfortable.

Tommy and his wife were super friendly and kind. He gave us lots of useful tips to enjoy our stay in Koyasan and also helped us out when we had to arrange the shipment of one of our luggage to Tokyo. The guest house is super clean, convenient and in a perfect location to explore the area.

Beim Einchecken war niemand da (trotz Ankündigung der Ankunftszeit) Andere Gäste haben versucht zu helfen, waren aber auch schon sehr genervt, weil das wohl öfters vorkommt. Nach langem hin und her, den Besitzer anrufen müssen, der einem dann das Zimmer geöffnet hat. Das Zimmer ist neu und sauber aber auch sehr unpersönlich, ungemütlich... Die Aufteilung ist gewöhnungbedürftig (Hightech Toilette hat einen eigenen Raum, dafür ist die Dusche neben der Küche im Flur; nervige Stufe am Eingang, komische Lichtschaltung, uns erschloß sich nicht, warum das Bett "falsch herum" im Raum steht...)

The receptionist is very friendly and took the time to explain to me several key points to better understand the town. The guest house is also very well located in relation to the town, since it is right in the middle. Another point in favor is that the room has a smart system, which made the stay much more enjoyable.
