Spacious, very good location- close to the beach.

Guests have to clean the house (requirement to wash, dry and put the dishes back where they were taken from was a bit of a hassle), guests are also required to take the trash out, leave sheets on the bed, towels on the floor. This should be already covered by cleaning service and not the guests (it took us additional time to fulfil all the cleaning requirements). Long periods of waiting on the line to contact the property management).

The unit was a good size, close to the shops and the beach. Kitchen was well stocked.

I had to make the beds on arrival, when I called the agent, I was advised that if I wanted the beds made there would be an additional charge. We were also only provided with 6 pillow cases, one per person. No soap in the bathrooms. There was no air conditioning and the floor were not clean in the bathroom. The picture had a large outdoor umbrella which was not there and when I called to find where it was I didn’t get a response. Key collection was a pain as had to go into Nelson bay. The additional information I also had to provide to port Stephen’s accommodation (via a separate online portal) was over the top. Ie.they wanted a picture of my drivers licence, my credit card, names and phone numbers of every person staying.

unfortunately when trying to contact the office you get an overseas call center on the phone. Hard to understand couldn't help me with the issues. You think you have "Telstra call center" on the phone but all I needed was to speak to someone from the office to sort out some issues, no personal touch from a small local business is my opinion.

A great place but for the price paid for two nights I’d expect bedding to be made and toiletries such as soap etc and a little extra toilet paper (at the very least) to be present in the room for use. Clean up of dishes etc is expected upon departure but no dishwashing tablets available - just an empty box. The bedroom Fans are terribly loud, squeaky and worryingly shaky in the ceilings.

Location of the property was just fine. Collecting the key was a pain travelling to another location in Port Stephens (Nelson Bay) only to come back again to Fingal Bay, and then back again to Nelson Bay for the return of the keys. On arrival, exhausted from attending our Dad's funeral that very day, we entered the property to three large cockroaches, in the kitchen and two in bathroom; and our bed sheets and bath towels were packaged up on the kitchen bench - with no beds prepared ready for us. We were simply too exhausted to carry it all up the stairs and spent the night sleeping on top of the bed covering. The place also smelt unclean, like old curry. Unlike the lovely pictures depicting what we expected would be a relaxing and peaceful stay at the property, we instead tried to spend as little time there as possible.

It smelt bad, had cockroaches, beds weren't made up and no towels were ready near bathrooms; and key collection and drop off was in another location. None of these things make for a positive holiday experience for any traveller. I wish I had more positive things to say about this experience, but we were entirely disappointed and our stay was honestly very uncomfortable.

It was a shame the property did not have any hand soap in the bathrooms or even at least one bathroom as I had arrived under prepared and assumed hand soap is generally always in accommodation.
