The view, the location is the best on the island facing Caldera!! The villa is modern yet maintain the traditional cave style. Excellent service by our host. They even carried our luggages during check-in and check-out process which is so helpful considering all the stairs. Can't wait to come back.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing, we literally cannot think of a bad thing to say. Theodoris (the host) is a really lovely man and will do anything to help you. He booked all of our taxis throughout the stay and made some fantastic recommendations for restaurants, things to do etc. The villa itself is so beautiful with the best view of the whole island!

We had to go home!

This was quite simply the best experience we've ever had with any accommodations on a family trip! The owner Theodoris was incredibly helpful - from arranging transfers from the airport and back to the port, to providing a very nice breakfast every morning, and giving us excellent tips for where to eat and where to visit. Theodoris also supplied us with water, orange juice, and wine to get us started on a great note :) He even brought our luggage down (and then up) the staircase to the villa! I have never experienced a more gracious or attentive host. The cave villa was terrific - with a master bedroom and a smaller bedroom, both with their own bathrooms, and two sofas that our kids could sleep on in the main room. It was more than spacious enough for a family of five. The house also has a private jacuzzi pool right on top of it, and we had a great time relaxing there during the hot afternoons. Finally, the location is fantastic! The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. Imerovigi is the highest point on the caldera, so the views are gorgeous... the village is quiet with very little nightlife (which is great when traveling as a family), and yet is close enough to Firostefani (10-15min walk) and Fira (30min walk) so as to be very convenient to the shopping areas and the restaurants and bars in those more bustling areas. Imerovigli itself also has some great restaurants - from La Maison (high end) to Let's Eat (cheap and great), and Aegean (in the middle) - all with great cadera views.

It was all completely fantastic. I can't think of a single thing that could have improved our experience in any way.

Our host Theodoris was extremely attentive to all our needs, arranged porters to transport our luggage, helped our daughter make a last minute lodging reservation when she decided to stay longer, and had a beautiful bowl of fruit and a bottle of his own Santorini wine waiting for us upon check in. He personally escorted us to his property and helped with dinner reservations. When we misadjusted the AC causing it to freeze up, he came over within the hour to reset it. The villa itself is very beautifully done, comfortable beds and lovely decor. I think the only thing that could have been useful in the villa for those staying longer would be a small microwave to reheat food. The location was great, just a short walk to Firastefani and Fira. Our view of the caldera was spectacular with a rooftop plunge pool and several outdoor seating areas.
