Nice house with plenty of space. Well equipped (the missing baking oven is declared in the description of the property, so we were prepared for this) with plenty of dishes, cutlery, towels and bed linen (not only one towel per person like it was in other properties), even a first aid kit in the bathroom isn't missing (including some tampons for women :-)). The host provides a really useful folder with many informations about the house and some suggestions for trips. WiFi in good quality. The terrace is shaded by a "roof" of grapevine. Quiet neighborhood (the nearby tennis courts don't really disturb). The property is located at the edge of the village, nevertheless the center of the village and some stores for daily needs are in a short walking distance. We enjoyed our stay in the house and especially the four little kittens that visited the terrace every day in hope for some food and cuddles... The home is very spacious and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. The location to Lourmarin could not be better, just a short pleasant walk. Unfortunately it was so hot that we were unable to sleep so we left a day early to ho yo a hotel with AC.

This is a very comfortable house in a peaceful leafy area. It's a pleasant 5 minute walk from the beautiful village of Lourmarin. It had everything we needed for a most enjoyable stay. The bedrooms are spacious with large comfortable beds, and although the temperature was 30 to 35 during the day, it dropped sufficiently at night to allow us open the windows, so we didn't need to use the fans provided. The living/dining area is comfortably furnished and the kitchen really well equipped. We ate out on four of our seven nights and used the barbeque (charcoal, which we prefer) and hob on the other three, so didn't miss an oven. We had been to Lourmarin before and really enjoyed revisiting it as it is truely a beautiful village. Pretty and quaint with lovely old warm stone buildings it also has a plentiful supply of boutiques, bric-a-braque and food shops along with good restaurants and cafés. It's a joy just to wander its narrow cobblestone streets. Of course there are lots of other pretty Lubéron villages to visit, some only a short drive away, and the town of Aix-en-Provence is only about a forty minute drive from the house. All in all we had a really enjoyable stay in this comfortable stylish house in this beautiful corner of Provence and would highly recommend it.

House was clean, well equipped and comfortable. It would be suitable for a large family or up to three couples. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk into Lourmarin. It's a good location for touring the Luberon, or for day trips to the cities or the coast.

Well situated property just outside of town to use as a base to explore Provence. House was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed breakfast in the yard and it was a 5 minute walk to town. The overall location was a great spot to explore the region. The house was in a more quiet residential area so great to sleep in. While love the charm of staying in the actual villages - they can be noisy so this was a good alternative.

We were exceptionally pleased with this property. The owners do a superb job of maintaining the house and stocking it with essentials for travelers. Everything was in working order and the house was perfectly cleaned when we arrived. Getting in was easy - there is a lock box arrangement which worked well. The location is great. Just a short walk to the center of beautiful Lourmarin and easy access to roads for more ambitious explorations. This was the first time we have been to Provence in the autumn and the colors were magnificent. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this house without qualification.

Lourmarin is a beautiful french village located near Aix-en-Provence (40 min). We really appreciate the house and the village. Nothing negative to say about the house or the location. We were 6 people and everything went very well. I can see myself going back again in the future, because there were a lot to visit :). I will recommend the place without any problem.

The house is spacious, be it inside or in the lovely garden, and perfect for a family of up to 6 people, . It's located in a very calm neighbourhood but only a short walk to the picturesque village centre with many restaurants and shops. It provides all facilities and the kitchen is very well equipped. Thank you for sharing this lovely place.

For us Lourmarin is the most beautiful village in the Luberon and this house the best place to stay in! Therefore we like to come as often as we can.

We had a lot of fun and visited a lot of cities in the surrounding area. We like this house as before. It is very quiet and yet central. Gladly again and again.

Stayed four weeks here through Autumn into early winter. Lovely house in a great situation for the village, in a beautiful part of France. Loses a star because there is no oven - combi microwave - and only British television, but these are not major issues. Excellent overall, very comfortable, and we would happily return.

We stayed one week at this wonderful home. Plenty of room inside and a peaceful patio out back. Friendly cats drop by for visits. It is an easy stroll on a footpath to the centre of Lourmarin, which has a number of nice restaurants and shops. Hope to return soon!

We stayed for 6 nights. What a wonderful house. An easy walk 5 minute to the village. Lourmarin is a wonderful spot and flat, so easy to get around. Great base to explore the Luberon. We loved it.

We had a wonderful time in this spacious, well-equipped and modern villa. The location was great - a short walk to the village but still in the quiet of a small development and the countryside. David was excellent with the communication and Erika was helpful and welcoming. We loved going to the Tuesday evening farmer's market and then Friday morning to the village market. It's also not far from a great swimming spot - Etang de la Bonde. We would definitely recommend this villa and location and hope to return next summer! Nicole & Gilles

My stay in this delightful house was enhanced with superb weather all week. our tours of the countryside,villages and restaurants ( Do not leave without sampling the best Gazpacho ever at L'Insolite in Lourmarin ) has opened my eyes to Provence as a most beautiful part of France. To have boats in the bathroom an Lego in the lounge was an added bonus in this well appointed house.The Friday market in Lourmarin was superb, could have hired a lorry to bring home so much wonderful produce. A place to remember,to return to, as soon as possible. Wonderful.

We rent 2-3 holiday homes each year & this was the best one we have ever stayed in! You have everything you need - spacious bedrooms, closets, outdoor space, open eating area & living room, lovely kitchen - it doesn't feel like a rental, more like your own home. The house is also very well equipped - guide books, maps, films, music & a large selection of reading books along with other things that make the trip more pleasurable (hand soap in the bathrooms!). The location is excellent - so close to the city center yet it is so quiet. David was so patient with all of my questions & quick to respond. It was easy to work with Erica too. I would recommend this to anyone looking in the area. Fabulous!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this spacious and comfortable house. The house is well equipped and easy to live in and just relax. The garden was beautiful and terrace a perfect place for long dinners. Lourmarin is a vivid and attractive village. Our kids loved the big beautiful swimming pool in the nearby campsite. Market in Lourmarin is also worth of experiencing.

A comfortabe house within a stone's throw from the old town of Lourmarin and the Castle. Perfecly located for easy access to the most picturesque perched villages of the Luberon (Bonnieux, Menerbes, Roussillion, Goult, etc) far away from the crowds. We had a great time tasting the wine in the cellar of the Castle and sampling the local food. Highly recommended.

Although we have stayed in this excellent house three times before we have booked again for next year! Everything is so pleasant, surroundings, village, house, garden, etc. that we do not get tired of coming again. The location and facilities are even better than described. If we should have to mention "something disappointing" it is the fact that there is no possibility to receive French (or Dutch) TV channels. We consider this property as "our second home" and have recommended it to our best friends.

We all absolutely loved our stay in Lourmarin. The house is spacious,clean and elegant. Everything in the house works really well and was a wonderful base from which to explore Provence. It is a 2 minute walk to the centre of Lourmarin which is a beautiful, active village with a fabulous market on Friday. Erika, the local rep was very friendly and helpful. Our second time renting this house and unlikely to be our last. The house is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac on the boundary of Lourmarin, 2 mintes walk from the centre. The property itself is clean, stylish and modern, all rooms are well proportioned. The house is extremely well equipped, with a supply of all basic products (e.g. dishwasher tablets). There is a substantial library of books, films, music etc, and Provence travel guides. There is also wireless broadband and UK Satellite UK. The owner is a very helpful and reliable person to deal with, as is the local agent that manages the handover. Loumarin is a fantastic village to use as a base for exploring the Luberon. It has many cafes and restaurants, and is regarded as one of the most attractive villages in France, deservedly so. I cannot recommend this property highly enough."

We were thrilled with the house, the garden, the proximity to the village. It was great. The house was much nicer then the photos. I would be proud to recommend this house to a friend. The town of Lourmarin was a delight. I hope to be lucky enough to visit again.

This is the second year we have stayed. Pretty house with modern facilities and a lovely terrace to sit out on and eat al fresco in peaceful surroundings Lourmarin village itself is also very traditional. Locals are friendly and it has good restaurants and cafes serving local food plus post office, ATM and a great market on Fridays, a nice mix of busy and quiet. The village is also centrally located so the Airport and TGV are less than an hour away. Avignon, Carmargue and the Mediterranean Coast are also in easy travelling distance. Great house, great location can’t wait to come back.

An excellent accurate description of the property. Lots of space. In a quiet peaceful area, but within two minutes walking you can be in the heart of the village of Lourmarin. Easy access to all tourist areas in Provence, and at the end of a long day sightseeing, you feel like you are arriving back 'home'. Good kitchen and laundry facilities. Good customer service. Excellent welcome and house tour on arrival. Good selection of restaurants in Lourmarin and the surrounding area from the expensive to the less expensive, most within walking distance. Highly recommended and we will certainly return in the future.
