This rental was in the perfect location to the West Glacier entrance. The property is well maintained and the owner made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

Very nice property. Unfortunately for us, it was unseasonably hot, but we managed. We had a portable AC unit in one of the bedrooms (the windows did not open) and a fan in the other. The temperature dropped at night, so it was not unbearable. We did not have any problems when contacting the management team, although, we did not have many reasons to do so. In general, everything went very well. Absolutely a place worth considering. It is very close to the Glacier Park entrance and restaurants. We would stay again if planning a trip to the area. The only suggestion is the gate needs a new wheel.

Perfect for our stay. Location was handy and easy to find.

Very nice cabin. Good location

Great location when visiting the park. Tamara communicated with us and even stayed late for us as we got delayed by a crash. Cabin got a little warm as there is only a portable ac unit in one bedroom. It did cool off at night using a fan by an open window. Cabin was mostly clean with some hair found in shower and alot of dust under and behind beds. All anall a good stay.

My spouse and I really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was very clean. We really appreciated that the host provided dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils readily available to use. Check in was a breeze and the host was super accomadating since we arrived a little later than check in time. We loved it here!

This was so clean and well stocked with all we needed. Conveniently located and besides highway and trains making noise occasionally, very peaceful setting.

The cabin is ideally situated for access to Glacier National Park. It was always pleasant to return to the calm of the property after a day at the park. Has beautiful views of the surrounding Mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and friendly people. Highly recommend

Property managers very nice. Clean. But noisy from traffic and trains. Location has no immediate appeal even though close to park. Would not recommend it as place to stay

Minutes from entrance to Glacier NP. Very clean Helpful manager who recommended good restaurants and hikes. Our only complaint was that soap was not provided.

After a week of bouncing around in cabins and hotels it was nice to have privacy, space and a kitchen. Host were very accommodating, helped us work around our schedule for check in and answered questions. So close to west entrance of the park and our horse back riding reservations.
The porch, grille, picnic tables and grass was heat to have.
We didn’t realize the restaurant was closed as when we booked we read other reviews and was expecting that but it didn’t really effect us.
Train does come through, earplugs provided were great.
In august it was a little warm upstairs but there are plenty of fans and the window unit for ac helped both keep it cool and drown out train sound.
Lots of space super clean, cuddly blankets make it feel at home.
Highly recommend.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Heaven’s Peak. It is close to Glacier National Park where we were spending our vacation. Our VRBO hosts communicated well with us and also kept us in the loop on a possible evacuation due to nearby forest fires. Other reviews noted train noise was a bother, and we would agree with that, especially in the early morning hours. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Overall, the proper was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with the necessary dishes and cookware we needed for our stay.
The two suggestions we have are to place room darkening curtains in the master. This would help to cool the room in the summer and allow guests to sleep better in the morning if not waking prior to/at sunrise.
Second suggestion is to write in the description that freah towels are only provided every 3 days. If we had known this in advance, we would have brought our own. After hiking everyday, only having one towel and washcloth per person for 3 days is not ideal.

Perfect location, beautiful property and very accommodating property management team. Trudi & Brita both reached out in advance of our stay with helpful tips and details. Brita was there to greet us and show us around right when we arrived and was always responsive to questions we had during our stay. The location couldn’t be much better, literally two minutes from West Glacier. Wish we could have stayed for another day or two!

Great little place and location. Cleaning fee charge is exorbitant, almost equal to one night stay cost.

Could benefit from having tv and air conditioning. The downstairs stayed cool, but for sleeping it would have been nice to have.( Open windows-but the train is loud). We were provided ear plugs, but I’m personally not able to wear them for sleeping. There is a nice fan there so we managed. Overall very nice and would stay again.

We loved the location and the views. Cabin was furnished nicely. Our host was great and met us to show us everything. It was about 2 minutes to the West Glacier National Park entrance.

Great location, friendly staff. Inadequate window treatments in primary bedroom to block out the light. All in all I would stay here again.

This property was wonderful - very clean and the beds were COMFORTABLE! I have not stayed in many VRBO's with comfortable beds - but we all thought these were great. The property manager is on site and very helpful. If you have questions about Glacier or anything else, he is very happy to help. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for five nights and it really was the perfect place. Great location just outside of the West Entrance to GNP but also convenient to get to Whitefish, Kalispell and places in Hungry Horse. Trudi welcomed us upon arrival and checked in throughout our stay.
The place was well stocked and bed was very comfortable. She has Skylink which made for great Wi-Fi connectivity.
The best part was watching the sun set each night on the deck and seeing the mountain ranges in the distance. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful place for a vacation. We will be back!!

The communication with the property management was very reliable and responsive. Everything was sparkling clean.
It is so conveniently close to the entrance to the NP, so you can get away from the crowds at the end of the day.
The restaurant closes immediately after labor day and it was difficult to find a restaurant. Fortunately, there is a general store nearby so you can buy provisions.
After Labor Day we did not need a pass to enter the park. We had a Golden Eagle Pass which was accepted.

Great location and accommodations. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the covered deck in the evenings.

1. This would probably be okay for 1 couple with no children as the 2nd bedroom would not be safe for children as it was about 3 steps from a very steep staircase. Actually, it was so close to the bedroom door that I felt apprehensive as an adult.
2. There were no closets in either bedroom.
3. The master bedroom had bins for depositing dirty towels, sheets which would have been better located downstairs and not detracted from the ambience of the room.
4. The bed in the "other" bedroom was miserable. The matress was mushy and they had put a topper over it which meant that the edges collasped and were completely unuseable.
5. I don't know why the towels were left on the bed in the "other" bedroom since the "other" bathroom was downstairs.
6. It was noisy as it was close to the highway and not air-conditioned.
7. The downstairs was nice and well-furnished. However, it seemed that they were emphasizing the wrong amenities like having fresh baked goods available rather than amenities that you really would like to have such as closets, towels in the bathroom, hampers downstairs, air-conditioning, quietness. Having the hampers downstairs would have benefitted the owners as the guests were expected to deposit their towels and sheets in the hampers.

We loved being so close to the park and the accommodations were cozy to enjoy after adventuring. Nick was a great host and offered up great advice for where to go!

Proximity to the train at night was a surprise and explained the earplugs that were left with the towels. Unfortunately the garbage dumpster had not been collected for a long time which made sitting on the cottage porch unpleasant

We had a wonderful experience at Trudi’s cabin in west glacier. It is only a couple minutes from the park’s west entrance. We ordered the Hot Pocket empanadas from the in house baker that were delivered the day we arrived and delicious. The cabin has a wonderful flat yard that the kids (3 &5) played soccer in while overlooking gorgeous mountain view sunsets. We wish we had stayed here the entire time. Communication and assistance was great. It’s lovely. Stay here.
Ps. AT&T phone calls worked in west glacier, but our data (internet, emails, etc) would often not load unless we used the cabins internet. It’s a good idea to plug in map directions from the house before traveling. Especially if going the alternate route through Essex to the park east entrance which has no service. (Side note: 8/7/22 there was 10+ min traffic delay due to substantial construction that route. A few miles of road that was gravel while under construction with a lead car to get you through. I did not enjoy the 2 hour drive with no cell service into the montana wild without seeing any gas and very few homes and businesses. I wish we had taken GTSR and just planned time for GTSR traffic.)

A/c -- didn't realize this was an amenity -- and we needed it.
Screens -- only on 2 small windows in bedrooms -- it was way too hot to not be able to use all the windows.
Drapes - inadequate in master bedroom to block light and keep room cool from sun.
No extra sheets for pull out and fitted sheet disgusting.
No fitted sheet on master bed
No closet or dresser in 2nd bedroom -- no room to keep your clothes/suitcases in this room.

Lovely, spacious home. Very clean and nicely furnished. Very accessible to Glacier NP. Nick greeted us upon arrival and was able to give us recommendations for meals and what to do in the park. Delicious goodies are available for pre-order.
