Washing machine was disgusting filthy. Was told by the host that all washing machines get this dirty! Nowhere to dry clothes when we arrived because the exterior clothes line normally access from a window only could not be accessed because a bed was under the window. The host did eventually deliver a portable clothes line. On website it said there was a hairdryer but there was not. There was an empty hairdryer box in a cupboard. Krupps capsule coffee machine leaked water over the floor. Host did nothing about this even though water leaked into the electrics and could have been dangerous.

Good communication with owner and key holder. Just a short wait on arrival.

That we couldn’t stay longer.

The central location was handy for the main attractions and restaurants, and the apartment was clean and modern. There was a basement car park which was useful for the location (best for small car).

Apartment was located in the heart of Antequera. Cafes, restaurants, supermarket and bakeries (including a superb gluten-free bakery) a few minutes walk from apartment. Apartment was well furnished and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Our host Julio was very polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He removed travel stress by offering a pick-up service from Malaga airport. At the end of holiday he provided a really excellent airport transfer service. Our flight was late evening. So he suggested that he pick us up from the apartment, drop us off in Malaga town centre, retain our luggage and then return early evening, pick us up again and drop us off at airport. This allowed us to spend a pleasant afternoon sightseeing in Malaga without having to worry about luggage or getting to the airport.
