It was everything they said. The room was adorable, very clean, staff was kind and attentive, perfect location to walk to all amenities and the river, pool was sparkling clean...

Nice location and clean

The king size bed was a little too hard for me.

Perfect location right in the middle of town. With the comfy outdoor chairs you can either take in the early morning and watch the resident squirrel feeding from the tree box or have a relaxing drink in the evening before you go to bed. Huge rooms with very comfortable beds. Large fridge to keep your drinks cool. Modern bathroom. Solid traditional feel. In close proximity to local microbrewery with great beer and food. All the activities on Kern river in walking distance. Very quiet at night. Staff very helpful and friendly. A place you would always be happy to return to.

The location was great and the town had lots of small town American charm

The walls were very thin so it didnt feel private. we could clearly hear the phone conversations of the guest next door. We were discouraged from leaving our bags after check out while we went for a walk.

Town was fantastic. Loved kernville

Aircon too loud. Checkin closed at 6pm. Not a major problem.

The little place is nice, it’s old fashioned which was nice. The location was great. The staff was pleasant.

The sheets had drops of blood on them thankfully just the top sheet so we just removed it. It did make us wonder if they had been changed. Not the best feeling for the 1st nights sleep. We were looking forward to the spa. But that area was under remolding, which was not disclosed. We were bummed because it was a couples getaway and we were looking forward to the bonding time in the spa.

I could hear TV coming from the next room. My room had excellent heating (essential with sub-zero temperature outside) but there mechanism delivering it had a very noisy fan which would kick in each time the thermostat triggered another heating phase. That woke me up in the night a few times. Shame, as my experience overall;l was wonderful.
