The location is good, the urbanisation is nice, and very well maintained. The rental was very cheap (and now we know why). If this apartment was completely refurbished it would be lovely.

We had problems checking in, as the lady who arranged to meet us with the keys didn't turn up, and turned her mobile off. We waited over an hour outside, then contacted Booking.com. We finally managed to get in around 6pm, when the boss Antonio contacted us. He was nice, but the check in experience overall was very stressful, and we wasted a lot of time hanging about for keys. The apartment was bizarrely furnished (the beds are very uncomfortable), with creaky/noisy plastic concertina doors to the bedrooms. There was hardly any useful equipment (like plates, glasses, cutlery) and no standard cleaning materials (washing up liquid, hand soap, toilet roll, kitchen cloth, etc.). We eventually found the (dirty!) missing plates, cutlery & glasses in the dishwasher. They were still there from the last guests, who had not run the dishwasher because there were no tablets or rinse aid provided either. The cleaner had missed this too. Nice! We reported all this to Antonio within an hour of arrival. Fortunately we were only there for the weekend, so we went out and bought toilet roll, hand soap, and some cleaning cloths. We left this stuff for the next guests, but would not return here ourselves. The apartment is just too uncomfortable.

Old people town not ideal for younger traveller

The Location was excellent, we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace of a morning and evening.

Ticks all the boxes for us,second time we’ve stayed here for our golfing trip.

Stairs to the second floor need to be negotiated with care, quite steep and slippery when wet a member of our party sustained a cut to his foot after slipping coming out of the shower.
