Where to begin… If you are looking for heaven on earth, look no further than Villa Aurora! Welcome to a peaceful oasis where you sleep beneath olive trees and above the glory of Mount Vesuvius. The home is beautifully maintained with classic charm and modern luxury. The propriety itself is also fit for a king - from the refreshing pool to the sprawling yard. We were thrilled to stay and cannot wait to return. However, all of the beauty pales in comparison to the loveliest of hosts & humans… Donnatella! If for no other reason, book your stay so you can meet wonderful Donnatella. She opens her family home to you in such a way that you part as family yourselves. Donatella was there to meet us, explain the family history of the villa and show us round. Great views of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. She helped organise drivers, restaurant, chef dinner etc Pool area lovely.

The original bathrooms are very quaint but perhaps shower units need upgrading to larger space - whilst still retaining the lovely original features! Provide enough sun beds for adults in villa.

It is on a steep hill and although we could walk up it, some people may struggle

Donatello is an excellent host! She organised groceries and a wine tasting evening which was amazing. The location of the villa was perfect for us and the pool area was superb - especially as we had young children with us. We walked down the path to the harbour a few times which only took 15 minutes and found lots of lovely bars and restaurants and every day we did the short walk to the deli for food&drink. Donatello or Francesco the taxi driver were always available to sort out any issues and spoke excellent English. We had a magical holiday and would love to return.

The only thing we really missed was air con! There were fans in every room but it was still incredibly hot, especially at night.

Our host Donatella was extremely helpful from start to finish. She arranged the wonderful Francesco as our transfer service as well as boat trips and reservations. The villa was perfect for our 2 families and in a great location for day excursions

The property was a great, family friendly villa. The swimming pool was fantastic and highly used. If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle this is the perfect place for you. I recommend renting a car, although there is a train stop that is a 25 minute walk away. The hosts were also extremely helpful! Sorrento is a beautiful place, I would definitely return😌

very good place, huge Villa, with very spacious rooms and marvelous view on the Vesuvius good location, near sorento, extremely helpful owners, with an marvelous option to order dinner prepared for us on the Villa Terrase at a ridiculous price of 10 EURO per eater plus groceries expenses. The dinner was huge, and in the highest quality we have seen in south Italy. simply amazing the owners also helped us to organize trips, including private boat rides to Amalfi and to Capri, which was also an excellent option, though not cheap

the mattresses could be a bit harder, but this was my preference

Lorenzo and Donatella were extremely helpful and accommodating from booking the villa, until we left the villa. They really went the extra mile to ensure that we had a lovely and relaxing stay. They were very flexible regarding our check in and check out times which was really helpful. The villa is large and beautiful, the photos do not do it justice, it is the perfect home for a big family holiday in the sun. The swimming pool is huge and the terrace is amazing to have dinner and drinks with a stunnning view. We loved the town of Seanno, and the train station was very close allowing us to nip into Sorrento very quickly and easily. Donatella and Lorenzo helped us organise taxis to other surrounding areas including Amalfi and Positano and they also organised an amazing boat trip to Capri for us. There were local shops and restaurants within walking distance, we particularly loved the marina in Seanno there was a lovely bar out on the jetty where you could catch the most amazing sunsets. We were given lots of recommendations by Donatella and Lorenzo and they did not disappoint. The villa, location and hosts were perfect for us!
