This property had lots of charm! The neighborhood was close to many nice restaurants and historic areas in the town. We loved hearing the sound of the train throughout the day. It was very peaceful to sit on the front porch each morning and hang out in the back yard in the afternoon which our dogs loved playing in! We loved all the beautiful paintings and sea life decor. Lovely stay!!!!

Host were great. Large yard!! It’s on a busy street so lots of traffic and people. Loved hearing the train.

This home was a last minute godsend for our family. The house is an older charming home which was comfortable for a family of 4 adults and our dogs (we have 2 dogs with special medical needs). Beth was gracious, incredibly accommodating and answered us promptly despite our late arrival (past 11pm). The house has ample parking which can fit jet skis or even a boat. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the bicycles were such a pleasant surprise! A short drive over the bridge we found Canova beach which our dogs fully enjoyed (they had never been to the beach before). We lost internet due to a power surge and our host promptly contacted the cable company who agreed to send a tech out for repair. My only suggestion to our host is to install a light at the back door to illuminate the back yard at night since it is very dark in the yard. The window A/C in the back room did not cool very well and the heat is sweltering during the summer months. Otherwise the house was very cool with the central A/C set at 75 degrees. The neighborhood is very quiet and has restaurants, museums and activities a short bike ride away. We had dinner at Pineapples which has a rooftop seating area with a great view of the Indian River. We were able to view the Space X launch from the Melbourne Pier (we had never seen one live before). I would definitely stay again.

We had so much fun! The house is exactly as pictured online. Very clean! We had everything we needed and the dogs loved the yard. Close to the beach and other attractions. We had a great time!!!!

This is a very large house which was great!! We had a lot of stuff as we were taking a two week travel and it was the perfect size for our family. Only one issue that could not be fixed, AC does not go below 74 or it will freeze up so a little too hot for us during the day time on the days we stayed at the house. Everything else was great. They have toys, games and movies for the kids. The kids loved the house and really enjoyed themselves and the back yard. They have it stocked up pretty nicely in case you forget to bring things. The owners are friendly and reasonable with us after we accidentally turned a couple wash cloths blue in the laundry. So sorry about that. Otherwise, great stay and fun area with nice beaches.

The home was perfect. It’s big enough to accommodate a big family without feeling closed in. Within walking distance to the alive Art District and the water. And a short bridge ride away from the beach. All the extras make it a home away from home.

My family enjoyed a great extended weekend here. The location was perfect and the home had a really comfortable and happy vibe. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch with my 2 dogs in the morning while the rest of the family slept in a bit. It's close to a lot of fun activities, but on the edge enough to provide a quiet and relaxing setting. My only regret is that we did not take advantage of the surf school offered by the owners while we were there. Next time!

What a charming house and perfect for visiting and gathering of family!

We stayed here for a week while on our 1st Family vacation to Disney. We were about a hour away from the theme parks and only a 5-10 minute drive from the beaches. Grocery stores were also very close. Our hosts Glenn and Beth were amazing. They checked in on us to make sure everything was good with the house. We had our family of 7 stay here. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and definitely plenty of space for us to eat. Huge back yard with bbq grill! Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. As with 7 of us we needed to do laundry quite often. This place was amazing and we would definitely recommend it to anyone we know. If/when we return to Melbourne we will definitely be staying with Glenn and Beth again! Thanks for a amazing place to stay! We created so many fun family memories here!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here with only one exception (I'll get to that in a minute). First, let me tell you about all the lovely things to enjoy at this property. 1) They seem to have thought of every amenity that a house guest might need, being away from home and being close to a beach - they even had little toiletries available in case we didn't have any and a beach umbrella to borrow. 2) The vibe here is so fitting for Eau Gallie (an art district) as Beth has her artwork on the walls (for sale! - we bought one) and they have a very cool mural in the backyard that gives in lots of character, 3) it is an old house that has been nicely renovated (best of both worlds! - modern and antique), 4) decorative detail gives it such charm and uniqueness (such as painted switch plates) and 5) garden lovers will appreciate the great foliage in the yard and hugging the house (golden trumpets, roses, bleeding heart vine, and more!). The only disappointment we had about this lovely abode was the master bed/mattress. However, I informed Beth of how uncomfy it was for me and they are looking into replacing it, which also brings me to 6) the owners are very nice to communicate with and highly responsive to feedback. 7) The property is situated in a very convenient location, only a quick drive over the bridge for the beach and also near many inland spots you'll want to visit as well. We would happily make many returns here!!

We came down to see if Melbourne is somewhere we might like to live since my job will be taking us to the Cape. We wanted to bring our pups since they are like children to us. This home was perfect and the pups loved it!! It was so cozy and the location is perfect! Close to restaurants, shopping, and a beach that lets you bring your dog. Glenn and Beth have done a great job making our stay feel like being at home. We will be back for sure!!

I stayed while visiting my family for my daughter’s birthday. I am originally from Melbourne so familiar with the area. The house was clean and comfortable. It is an older house with character and nicely done on the inside. And it felt comfortable like we were staying with family. It was a nice touch that the secondary room had childrens books that helped keep my little one entertained during the rainy days we were there. Overall, I would recommend.

Absolutely wonderful Experience. Our first time using VRBO and our first family vacation. This property is much bigger than it looks! Experienced owners and wonderful humans, I also don’t want to go on to tell everyone how wonderful this home is. Excuse then it will be booked when we come back! 😁

Beth & Glenn have a great house here. Perfect for our family of 4. The open layout was nice, backyard was a great little getaway and the proximity to area beaches and food was perfect. Communication was spot on and we didn’t encounter any problems. We’ll definitely be back.

We wanted to get away from the NY winter and this house was perfect for us! It is clean and spacious with all necessary amenities. We relaxed at home, played a lot of golf, went for long walks by the river, tried local restaurants and cooked at home. Our dog also loved walking around the neighborhood.

This was a great house and great location. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we could have asked for. Within walking distance to coffee shop, wonderful homemade bread and sandwich shop. Glenn and Beth were wonderful hosts. Very attentive and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And probably will the next time we are in area. We walked the Wickham Park Christmas Tree Lights. Beautiful.

Home and well-appointed and stocked

Even with hotels that we have stayed in, the Internet here it was fabulous! THE best! We were able to work as needed and do video conference calls for hours on end as necessary. We have stayed in many rentals over the years and this particular location is extremely well equipped! The kitchen has all of the utensils you could imagine and even many duplicates of duplicates! Pretty much everything here you need. The only, if I must find one, problem was that the bicycles advertised are really more for children. They are not something that my wife or I could ride around town. The three that were there were in gross disrepair but the owners did run out and buy new ones during our stay. It has a manual gate at the front and it helps with making you feel more secure. The puzzles were a great addition and you can walk to entertainment and you can walk to breweries and restaurants. The Hosts, Beth and Glen, were really sad with us! If we had stayed longer, we would’ve asked Glen for surfing lessons!

Could not ask for more in a place to stay with our pups. It is often hard to find a place to stay that will allow us to travel with our 2-German Shepherds and our mixed breed pup (aka Mr Rogers). 😊They are a large part of our family. Glen & Beth understood the importance and welcomed us to stay in their home with our pack. An incredibly relaxing and safe environment. Highly recommend this rental! Great little house with decent sized fenced yard. Not far from beaches, fishing areas. We we're in Florida to visit a new addition to the family not the beaches but the house worked out great for us.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent. Fun games at the house. Communication w the host was simple and always quickly responded when needed. Our one glitch was there were a few cockroaches in the house. Apparently this was unusual and they do exterminate monthly. It is an older home so their are some just old home issues. Again, location and hosts were good. Thank you.

We travel with dogs so that is always our priority. The yard was completely fenced in with lots of grass to run and play in! It was a quiet neighborhood yet close enough to walk to several restaurants. Also very easy to get to the beach other major highways. The house is very clean and modern inside. It was just perfect for my husband and me and our 2 dogs.

My family and I had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful and clean. The owners were readily available and answered all of our questions. My son loved riding the bikes and my puppy loved the yard and being able to roam around without his leash. We also loved the dog beach!! We will definitely be returning next summer!!!

We had a great stay at this house. We were in town for a softball tournament and it was a great place to relax and ha e down time between games. Close to the beach when we had a chance to go. Great yard for our dog! Definitely recommend it!

My family and I stayed here on the second half of our vacation and it was great! Place is super clean plenty of space and close to lots of cute shops and restaurants. It was a little further from Cocoa Beach then we would have liked but still great location. The communication with the owners was easy and they made everything go smoothly.

There is enough space for.. This house offers a ton of possibilities. Aside of providing beds for 7, there is inflatable full size mattress and space to accomodate more people. Kitchen was extremely well furnished. We loved the decoration and the lovely yard. Unfortunately, the weather did not colaborated. We didn't have time for grilling and they really have a nice setting for bbcueing.. gorgeous yard, with colorful butterflies friendly plants. Well located regard to the artistic district-restaurants. Easy acess to the docks for pier fishing (miss my fishing buddies... next time for sure!) Only recommendation is to inflate bike tires and some lubricant. Out of 3 bikes, we found just one fully functional. Best of all, Beth and Gleen are excellent hosts. There were welcome treats for soul and body! And they were easy to reach out. We left 2 shirts in our check out and they shipped back to us immediately! Planning to return back soon! Thanks Beth&Glenn

The building and yard are a nice older property that has been very carefully updated. Description was accurate and communication with very good. It's only about a half mile flat walk (or bike with the included bikes, which we didn't try) to several restaurants.
