The proprietor was extremely kind and friendly and made me feel immensely safe as a woman traveling alone. He was very courteous and personally showed me how to use all the amenities. The location is close to downtown Bangor on a beautiful street and what you get for the money is a good value.

it was so easy to get in and out. staff was amazing and literally down the road 10min drive or less from everything I wanted to do.

I have nothing but great things to say about our stay. The room was both large, clean and beautifully updated. The hotel is in a great location giving it a neighborhood feel but very close to everything in the surrounding area.

That we were not able to use the pool due to our busy schedule while stating at the hotel. It looked very inviting. Next time I hope.

Owner/Manager was a lot of fun, helpful, friendly, and a Phish fan taboot! Perfect place to stay when seeing a show at the waterfront or for any occasion. Good logistics. Tasty coffee and wild blueberry donuts in the morning. I’m coming straight back next time i’m in town! Pool, basketball hoop, firepit area with grills and adirondack chairs.

That I had to leave and no Phish show everynight lol!

We were moving my daughter into her new apartment, so location was very important. We also had my 5 yr old Granddaughter with us. So having a Pool was a must! The Manager was very Nice & Friendly. The room was Clean & the beds were very comfortable. Although there wasn't a Coffee maker in the room(because of Covid) The Landscaping was Beautiful with a Nicely lit Pool. Barbecue & Fire pit.

I DIDN'T like, that certain services weren't updated in advance, BEFORE Booking. No use of the Pool. Breakfast consisted of Coffee & some sort of Pastry, that you'd get from inside the office. I felt that the Price was a lot for what we actually got. Wording isn't always what you'd think! Compared to the previous nights hotel. Big difference all around.

knew they took steps to make sure to be safe and keep the room clean and safe due to Covid. let us check out 2 hours later if we needed the time, with our two young children. very kind

there was nothing wrong with it.

Our visit was to see the University of Maine. The Stucco Lodge was very close. Andy, the manager/owner was very accomodating. He was so friendly and made our brief stay enjoyable!

I was happy with everything. The only thing I could note, and this is no fault of Andy or The Stucco Lodge, is that my husband is 6'6" and he found the accommodations to be a little small for him. I guess if you are a tall guy, a king bed and slightly higher ceilings would be more to your liking. Again, I am 5'4" and I thought everything worked well for me!
