Great size of the apartment, not too far from the centre of town,10mins walk. The football club Sporting Olhanese pitch/ground was right behind the apartment, it was great watching football, practice .⛹️

Some of the finishing was not appropriate, eg the lamp sheds in the kitchen and front room were too low and wall hangings in main bedroom be would better hung somewhere else in the room. However this was a minor issue, if your tall you just need to walk around the lamp sheds. Could be noisy when the football club has a game, however I guess that would only be for a day 😀

Apartment was super clean, kitchen was fully stocked with equipment. Tea and coffee was offered too. Information pack on arrival was useful along with masks and hand gel. From the balcony we overlook a football ground. It was good to be able to watch these whilst sitting on the balcony. 4 minute drive from mercado de olhao, where there are several restaurant and the marina. Host was reallt great. Met us at the apartment and made sure everything was ok before leaving. There was plenty of parking in the area, however there are also alot of cars, but we never had any issues looking for parking whilst we stayed here for 4 days. Wifi was strong and had no issues with it.

There is only 1 bathroom for 5 guests. The location is in a block of flats. Location is within a residential area, and so not easy to get "tourist" information. It wasnt a bad location, just not in a location like the big hotels.

nice host, very uncomplicated check-in. really nice and calm apartment, comfy beds and enough space for 4 people. good to have a balcony and a washing machine as well as dishwasher - same comfort as at home :-) big plus for us: super quite, no noise from neighbors or street. walking distance to the market / ferry, enough parking just outside the door.

kitchen could be equipped better - a couple of tablets for the dishwasher / dish soap / laundry detergent / salt&pepper would be nice. Same for toilet paper. We stayed 3 nights, so wasn't worth it buying all these things. Some boxes to take food to the beach as well as umbrellas would be superb! TV not a smart tv - may be important to others.
