host helped us get to the train station - very kind!

Edit: Dishonest staff. I did come to the hostel and never asked for a refund. Then even send me a message on my phone to ask me to delete my review as they don't like it apparently. I did not delete it obviously as it is my right to share my bad experience at this hostel with booking.com customers and community. Edit 1: Please does not escalate this issue. If not a screenshot of the message will be joined to this review. Edit 2: Unacceptable and agressive response from the owner. Very bad hostel experience

Staff/Management had a very helpful and caring attitude towards their guests. I stayed an extra two nights.

Posizione, nice atmosphere

Common bathroom, pain in the back after have sleep in the bad(uncomfortable), bathroom next to my room door (noise fro m people going back and forward) ground floor (people talking just outside the window, noisy)

Incredible hosts -- Sandrine and her partner were so friendly and welcoming. They were genuine and helpful and gave us all the information we needed from the moment we arrived. They made us feel home and were so chilled and caring with their approach. And they both have big welcoming smiles :-) Thank you for everything!

The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. The outdoor space was excellent with plenty of space to meet other visitors. The kitchen was clean and well supplied. Lockers were large.

Very little wrong, but there was quite a lot of rules about cleanliness etc, however I think this is what allows the accomodation to be as clean and simple to access as it is.

The owner was amazing. He gave me a full tour and mentioned everything that was going on in town the evening I stayed there. Thanks to those info I had an amazing evening/night. Everything and everyone was friendly and helpful.

There is literally nothing I did not like.

The owners are the best! Because of a strike no buses drive at the day I wanted to leave. But I got driven to the train station! They always try to find a way to help you out. Extraordinary!

A spatula would be nice in the kitchen :)

it was my first time staying in a hostel and I was slightly worried there could be issues, however I really enjoyed the community atomosphere and felt at home. Bruno was super helpful and welcoming and provided all the information I needed for my short stay (where to rent a surfboard, where to take nice photos, etc.). The terrasse was perfect for chilling and conversing with the others staying in the hostel. The place was also quite clean.

Great room, super facilities and lovely garden for chatting and relaxing…

Close to surf spots in Anglet

Dorms felt cramped and a bit disorganized, but still mostly fine. Too many thru travelers staying just for one night, bikers or similar, and so unfortunately not too social. Still made some solid friends though.

Very unique interior, some complimentary things in the fridge and general cleanliness.

The place is very comfortable. Very recomendable. I will stay again in another opportunity.

The private room I was staying in was very nice, cosy and clean. Anglet is a beautiful location. Bruno is very kind and pleasant host.

The private room is close to the kitchen/shared space and some people were gathering late, were not very considerate and did not respect the rule of not making noise after 23h.

excellent location, conveniently close to grocery store, bakery, and the beach. the place has a great good, comfortable relaxed vibe and the terrace is a fantastic place to hang out. overall this place is very good value and a great place to stay.

the staff and Myrtille were very helpful and friendly. highly recommend coming here if you love to surf.

Really comfortable and nice location!

Sandrine and Bruno are very nice hosts. Ready to help and easy to contact. The bicycle rent service (8€) is recommended, but it’s important to check the lights and breaks work. The hostel is located in a very nice area to walk or go cycling. I met the other guests, which were very nice and I was able to practise my French.

I was allocated the upper bunk bed, which wasn’t properly fixed to the wall. that meant that it moved uncomfortably when sleeping and possibly annoyed the person sleeping below me. I didn’t sleep well as a result. The second night I was changed to a different bed which was a little bit better, but still not long enough (usually a problem for me, as I’m 1,90m). The wifi connection is poor (you are prompted to log in using Facebook multiple times per day, which isn’t practical).

Access is automated and works well even during absence of staff. Arrived in the afternoon and was lucky to meet my room mates, all of us spending the rest of the day/evening together.

No staff present at any time of stay giving impression of a self run hostel. Small kitchen, with little place to put things, no seating in kitchen but there is a small bar type table for seating for 2-3 people next to the entrance, no parking, no women rooms, no communal spaces other than outside....so if it is not nice weather, you can only sit on your bed. Please note to all...after I made the comment of absent staff, I got harassed by the owner on my private phone with three SMS, complaining over the staff comment which I consider completely unacceptable. Booking advised that this is unacceptable, received the various sms and is looking into the issue.

Great location. Short walk to the beach. Good for surfers. Bruno is very friendly.
