Our Holidays in Setúbal was really great. Liseta our host was extremly helpful and took care of us. She recommended great restaurants, places to see and helped with our ticket because of a too long parking in an area you have to pay. The appartement is very cosy, absolutely clean and we felt like home. Its very quiet there and parking is easy to find. You have to pay between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.. When leaving the house you will find a great place for breakfast right on the other side of the road.

Our first floor (second floor by American counting) apartment was smartly renovated and beautifully, tastefully appointed within an older building on a charming street with a perfect balance of quiet and activity (that pretty much describes all of Setúbal's historic center). We truly loved everything about how it was modernized while maintaining original structures and accents and we heard from locals who know the building that the top floor is even better. Easy walk from train/bus station and easy walk to Praça do Bocage and Avenida Luísa Todi, and 8-minute walk to the docks for a ferry to the Tróia Pennisula (a must see). Right across the street is a nice place (Alegre-me) for healthy tasty brunch/lunch/snack and a few doors down the street a great place for wine and snacks (Daniela). Finally, our host (super sweet Liseta) keep in good communication with us and met us on time to show us the place. We do plan to return to Setúbal for a closer look as a retirement place and will definitely want to stay as Cafofos da Zeta again. If it's available for your trip and the price is right for you (it totally was for us--good value all around), then book it, but just not when we want to stay there....

Perfect location in the pedestrian section of the Setubal city center. We walked everywhere from here. Our hose Zeta met us at the apartment even though we arrived earlier than we originally told her. She was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in a studio apartment at this guest house but saw several of the other larger units, all of which were completely renovated and modernized. Our room was spotless, with a good hot shower. It's small but well laid out with everything we needed. Thank you Zeta for a great stay!

Very comfortable, clean and inviting apartment in the historic area walkable to everything, with ideal layout and organizational design. Kitchen is well equipped. The host stayed in touch and made us feel right at home, offering treats upon our arrival and providing helpful suggestions for restaurants and activities. Liseta is a super host; thank you for everything! We were able to park the car nearby to unload luggage and then move the car to an affordable 24 hour lot. Bed and linens were comfy. Would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed longer!

It is not an issue for us but some people may not be comfortable climbing the stairs with luggage. This is common requirement in historic area lodging and we appreciate the mini workout.

My family enjoyed this property and could not be happier with our stay. Liseta made everything easy and provided ideas for things to do and see around the area. The apartment is in a great location and was a perfect start to our Portugal vacation. We would definitely stay at Cafofos da Zeta again.

Fabulous accommodation in an excellent location close to the centre and the visitor attractions. Full range of facilities for occasional self catering. Everything that anyone needs in the nearby market.

The wifi doesn't work in the bedroom unfortunately. The bed was a little firm for me.

very nice flat; although in the middle of the town centre, it’s relatively quite. All confort is there, very friendly host. It’s all very clean and the flat meets with all standardsyou need. Setubal is An excellent base to explore Lisbon and the rest of the country.

nothing that’s worth to be mentioned. I can only imagine that the steep staircase might cause issues for older people or persons with a handicap.

We were delighted to stay at Cafofos da Zeta for many reasons. The place was really cute, renovated, clean, with perfect location and extremely friendly and helpful host speaking perfect English. She gave us a lot of great recommendations regarding the area. Our room was quiet, sunny, with lots of useful stuff. We will definitely come back!

I was new to the area and didn’t know anything of. The apartment was central to everything and I was guided by the host, Liseta, tremendously. I felt welcomed from the minute I arrived. the apartment had everything I need and literally could not have been in a better spot. it was a stones throw from everything.

There really wasn’t anything bad I could say about my stay here, I had such a great stay.

Cute and cozy apartment in a newly renovated house right in the city center. Fully equipped, spotless clean. The host was incredibly nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come again.

Our staying at Cafofos da Zeta was perfect! Liseta is a lovely host, communication with her is easy. The apartment is in a perfect position to take a walk in the city centre and to the beaches.

The hostess Liseta was extraordinaryly helpful, she booked a dolphin sightseeing tour for us.

The only window gave to a patio, it was an interior suite.

Very clean, coffee and small kitchenette available, everything you need really. Liseta is a very engaged host and has a lot of great tips for things to do and where to eat. The accommodation has a great location.

The sardines suite is a little dark and the bed is small. Just be aware when you visit with a tall person ;) There was some noise outside during the night, which made us sleep a little restless, but the hosts can’t help that!
