We really enjoyed the place and the beach and would like to book next year. Instructions sent to get in worked perfectly. TV/DVR and Wifi was good. The view was wonderful. Weather was good. Was able to easily contact the host.

Amazing!! We arrived to fresh roses and card. As soon as we walked in, we went directly to the ocean view. We saw a whale, dolphins and seals playing through out our stay. The ocean waves created the best sleep I have had in months! Place was clean, had everything we needed, great location. The host was awesome. We are already to set up another stay later this year. Love this place!!!

Loved this property, which was home for 2 months with my little dog. The lovely owner, Liza, is very responsive and dealt with any issues or questions immediately (not that there were many). Thoughtful touches like fresh flowers made me feel at home and welcome. I've already booked another stay for next year!

Overall very clean and comfortable stay. Great bed and kitchen. Loved the sunsets every night and the day bed is fantastic!

The view is absolutely unbelievable. The location of the property is incredible. We can’t say enough good things about it. We saw so many dolphins and sea lions every mornings and evening… Liza was so incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire duration from booking to leaving! She even left flowers and a card ! So kind and we will absolutely be back!!

Access via Malibu Rd vs the PCH was a big plus. At high tide the waves lap right up under the big bay window with unobstructed views. The stretch of beach was overall very quiet, dog friendly and a nice mix of sand and tide pools to explore. Sea lions, dolphins, shore birds, and pelicans made daily appearances. Fireplace was configured for decorative use only (no gas or wood).

Once again...can't beat the location and the beauty of the sea! Look forward to returning!

This is a beautiful property. Amazing view of the beach, right on the water. It was like a nature show on every day. Dolphins, Sea Lions, and most of all Pelicans by the hour. High tide literally 15 feet from the windows and low tide a larger beach about 40 feet wide. Really nice porch to sit out on. Sound of waves day and night. Liza the property manager was great.. they even got me a DVR I requested.This location it terrific.

We loved our stay! The location cannot be matched! Waking up to the beauty of the sun rising and the gorgeous ocean is a perfect way to start your day. The sounds of the waves is the perfect way to put you to sleep. The neighbors were super nice too! Can't wait to return.

This property is the best stay for ocean lovers; front row seat to hear the waves, dolphins, sea lions and endless walks on the beach. There are friendly families and dogs. Exercise lovers can walk/run on Malibu Road and hike at nearby canyons. Convenient location to the grocery store, pharmacy and Country Mart shopping at its finest! Liza and David were the best hosts and always communicated in a timely manner. The rental had everything we needed and was well equipped. Cannot wait to return!

This apartment is right on the beach. In fact, at high tide, the waves lap under the house. We enjoyed watching the dolphins every morning while drinking coffee on the deck, and falling asleep every evening to the sound of waves crashing. At low tide, we enjoyed long walks on the uncrowded beach. Liza, the owner, was always very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again.

The location - this is the prestige premier location in Malibu. Malibu Rd. is preferable to PCH for numerous reasons and is more centrally located than the also prestigious Point Dume area. This is the best location in Malibu, full stop. This is also one of the best, if not THE best beaches in Malibu. Immediately in front of the unit is excellent rock free ocean swimming. A short (<10 min) walk down the beach you will find tide pools with sea anemones, star fish, seals, and more. You can sit on the balcony drinking coffee and watch whales, dolphins, and seals swim by.

The property is gorgeous, the waves are lovely. The cleanliness could have been better in the bathroom. One of my concerns, though, is that the owner of the property is doing things illegally. She stated other neighbors were complaining about our unit’s noise and smells. We smelled cigarettes the entire time, and I’m a singer so I do not smoke. We also heard music thumping through out our stay, and then we were accused of it being us. The long paragraphs that I had to read from the property owner about “complaints” took away our time and happiness from our trip. The property owner, Liza, came and knocked on our door. We were in bikinis so we wanted to cover up. She walked away and I left out the door to catch her. She stated she was “concerned” about our unit due to the complaints so she decided to come knock. I said “hello of course come on in! Nothing to hide!” She comes in the unit and assesses everything, asks me “are you from here???” And then proceeds to tell me about how the housing office and neighborhood watch groups “don’t want short term renters” and “I could get in trouble for this” and leaves. It seemed quite racist and classist to me. We were told we weren’t welcomed due to being “short term renters”. The funny thing is that I could have stayed 2 months if she wanted! We only used a small portable speaker OUTSIDE while taking pictures with a photographer. I also sang in the shower ONCE and she texted me about the noise. Each night, the neighbors in the lower right unit will be in a inflatable hot tub, blasting music and smoking. That was not us. I also emailed VRBO about a possible refund for the inconvenience and intrusion on our trip. She also had neighbors come up to us on the beach and directly ask us what we were doing and “do you live here????” I told Liza she, of course, was welcome to come and go to the unit as she pleases if she was that concerned. We had nothing to hide and felt like criminals the entire weekend. She also complained I wasn’t answering my cell phone, I stated my phone was constantly not working due to the lack of internet access and being on airplane mode. She was quite abrasive and rude. It was very unpleasant. We also found hidden cameras which was a huge concern for us!!!!!

I had an extended stay (8 weeks) at the rental, which was perfect. Spacious, sunny and clean - and the sounds of waves do truly put you to sleep! The owners was very communicative the neighbors were lovely as well!

Good stay, nice property. I was not sent check in info until after I arrived and i had to contact the property owner. It was a good stay otherwise. I would stay again.

While we are regular Vrbo customer, this is the very first review I am writing. Everything about this vacation was perfect, the house is right on the beach, I could sit on the deck and keep an eye on kids playing in the sand right outside. Sound of the waves woke me up each morning and a run in the sand with splashing water was heavenly. There is warm water tap outside to rinse off. House is equipped with everything required for a beach vacation, chairs, umbrella, beach toys. Liza and David are super nice and highly responsive, we are even able to accommodate our checkout time. Other renters are nice to talk to. I can see myself going back here soon for sure.

Liza and Dave could not have been nicer - the unit had everything one could want for a stay at the beach. The ocean view was spectacular. I have rented several times in Malibu - some beaches are not accessible during high tide, but the beach here was walkable at all times. I cannot wait to return.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. The location on the beach is unbeatable with the constant sound of the ocean. Awesome grocery and shopping near-by. The property is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need. Property manager very responsive and professional. If you are looking for a home-away-from-home on the beach, this is your place!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. It was a well needed relaxation spot. In every Room no matter where you were you heard sounds of the ocean. Relaxing Sun kissed days on beach and swimming in the beautiful Malibu water was wonderful. Liza was an amazing host. Great communication, we were even greated with a fresh bouquet of flowers, nice touch! We also had the pleasure of meeting her Tenants Lindsay as well as Bonnie and her family. Lovely people and could not have been more welcoming. It felt like we had been a part of their community the entire time. thank you thank you

Perfect location for access to Pepperdine. We enjoy listening to the waves and the view of the ocean from the deck and living room. We also like being on Malibu Road instead of having to pull directly onto PCH. This was our second time staying here.
