Our second trip and will book again next year. Very nice area, quite and peaceful; Nice house, easy access to get to,, Great communication with owner; excellent. Very responsive and quick on reply's to questions. Nice home. great parking for even a trailer or boat. Lots of deer to see with your morning coffee or even Bird watching.

Best location to do everything @ the coast!

It worked out well for our family. There were 7 of us and it accommodated us nicely. The extra parking is nice and also the fire pit at night. =)

Check in was a breeze, on arrival there were deer on the property. House was clean and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing after a long day at Reedsport Chainsaw Carving Event. This house served its purpose for our large group. Place could have been cleaner, but it wasn't terribly dirty. Beautiful piece of wooded property close to the lake. Description of place is accurate. We saw quite a few bats at night. I think there are some living in the walls/roof!

The property was great! The home is well taken care of and there is lots of deer roaming the yard. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting the Oregon Coast.

Nice home cuddled among trees. Home has most things you need. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. House overall was very clean. Bathrooms were functional and useful. Kitchen was small but functional as well. Family room was large and a good place to be. WiFi was pretty good but did have some dead spots in the house where speed was real slow. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the area.

Very nice clean beds and nice rooms! We slept 9 with no difficulty. Ages 12 and up!

Our family will definitely be returning to the Lakeside House in Lakeside, Oregon! The house and property were even better than the photos in the description. We loved the beautiful nearby woods, lakes, and privacy while only a few minute away from quaint towns with more than adequate shopping experiences for tourists and access to food, gas, beaches and the amazing sand dunes. We saw deer walk through the property on a regular basis. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. We enjoyed a full-sized kitchen, bbq, and firepit for meals. The internet and wi-fi was excellent to watch movies on a giant flat-screen TV (DVD player was also available). All the bedrooms had excellent mattresses and pillows, plus extra bedding, while all three bathrooms had luxurious towels, The laundry room had full-sized washer and dryer and detergents provided for those, as well as the full-size dishwasher. We baked in the electric wall oven, full-sized microwave, and built-in island cooktop. It's already stocked with pots, pans, small appliances (toaster oven, 4- slice toaster, blender, coffee maker, glasses of all sizes, ceramic dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils. The pellet stove was easy to use and kept us very warm and comfortable. We loved the coordinated decor that lent a beachy feel to a woodsy home. The interiors were so beautiful with the combination of wood floors, new carpet, tile, wood paneling and exposed beams to create the best of both beach house and wood cabin that we've ever found. I wish we could keep this our secret getaway!

It was so comfy and had everything we needed and more. We had all ages and were never bored or on top of each other. We were minutes from the dunes. Even with a long power outage and storm we enjoyed. Parking with trailers was the only issue, especially trying to get out and turned around with out sinking in the mud was the only issue we had. We hope they will have us back

It was a great stay and an awesome place to spend a birthday celebration.

Neat A-frame house. We thought there was access to fish but there wasn’t. Multiple cleanliness issues. Assuming some beds weren’t changed because there were two beds with dirty socks in the sheets. Open outlets with exposed electrical wiring. For the price and cleaning fee it would have been great to have had a clean rental to stay in.

Home away from home. We will be back.

This property was perfect for our group - 3 Couples. Lots of space and fully stocked with full kitchen amenities. Plenty of room on the deck and outside areas to gather when the weather is nice. We would definitely rent this property again.

The property is very clean & tidy.... And it sleeps 10 with plenty of room left over. Very comfortable with a yard large enough for the kiddos to play in. Less than a mile away are the county docks, where you can launch your boat, Osprey Point RV Park & Resort where you can rent stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, etc., and Ringo's Lakeside Marina where you can rent power boats. I highly recommed this place!

Beautiful area and a spacious well kept house. Finding the place was tricky since the only sign on the road is for the marina next door.

The house is in a nice location which is easy to get to from the 101. It has a large driveway which is good for a couple cars and a truck + trailer. We enjoyed the outside patio and grill a few times during our stay. The stove and oven are old but usable once you figure them out. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates, utensils, etc. The large living room was great for watching TV and movies. The king and queen bedrooms are a nice size. The twin bedrooms are smaller but setup to be very usable. Its obvious the owners spent some time figuring out what visiting families would need when staying here. They made the place comfortable and easy.

Good grill. Nice patio. Gravel drive way big enough for trailers and boats. Clean inside. Clean bedding and comfortable beds. Only down side was the log trucks going by from 4 am to noon. I’m sure this is a summer time thing. Stove top and oven need updated but do the job. Overall a good place for families.

My family and I stayed here in June 2018. The house had everything needed to make meals and also has a washer and dryer. There is a McKay’s grocery store in town for all your needs. You can tell the owner had done some recent remodeling. There were also towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, paper towels, cookware, etc available for use that the owner provided.
