Failure of communication. Instead of using Booking.com they claimed using Whatsapp... However we had no code to get in and had to phone to get a meeting to get in Glad the wife got the husband to help with 20 kg cases up 40 stairs!!

Great location very close to the old town and, an easy walk. Lovely modern apartment in an old building, really helpful landlord organising parking for one of our cars underneath in the garage. Would definitely go back again and recommend.

It was very hot and the 3 fans provided didn't touch the heat unfortunately. Air con is definitely much needed. It was on the top floor (3rd), which I didn't realise when I booked and my elderly father struggled with the stairs each time.

Location is excellent, just a short walk from the centre of the old town. The appartment is pleasantly arranged and decorated and seems to be equipped with everything you might need (we didn't really use the kitchen other than to make coffee as we had all our meals out). Also we were able to park in the owners private parking for 5€ per night.

We did find the stairs a bit of a challenge, but then we are quite old! Our appartment was on the second floor, the first floor one would have been easier, however this is not something the owners can do much about.

The decoration, the location and the friendly staff

Cleanliness can be improved, especially in the kitchen (the stove hood), some spider webs and paint overall. The floor looks good but it is very noisy due to the age and nature of the building, the guests below complained about the noise we made just walking from one room to another.

Perfect location to explore Sarlat. Very clean well equipped modern property. Great to be able to rent the garage which meant I could relax that my car was safe. Very nice owner.

Perfect location easily walkable to restaurants and shops.The bathroom was great and the beds were comfortable.Instructions provided for entry were really easy so no need to stress over arrival time though we arrived as planned.There is a smal washer for guests and a drying rack...coin laundry across the street.The paid parking lot is very close...address for free parking in the guest book.I would definitely stay again.

Wish the guest book was translated for English speakers...we noted a few in town besides us.

Thank you for the kindest hosting family who prepared this apartment for the guests. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. We felt at home. Kitchen was really well-equiped so we had dinner in the apartment. It was an experience of living in the heart of the beauiful Sarlat la Caneda. The kindest owners helped us about the parking and more. We re hoping to come back.

Feel the terms and conditions could be clearer or more obvious that they charge 15€ to clean the apartment after. However they do offer you to clean it yourself instead of just charging you.
