The photos for this property are very misleading. The place is tired and dirty. Mold in shower and on several pieces of furniture. The air conditioner was not working properly. Had to remove the filter (which was FILTHY) to try and lessen the moisture in the condo. It was awful. The rug was beyond dirty. Whole place damp. Waiting on a refund. Would never suggest staying here.

Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The condo is very conveniently located right near the beach, the Sanctuary, and Night Heron Park. Bed was very comfortable and the large screened in porch was nice. The unit had a dampness to it that would probably be solved with a dehumidifier. Bathroom could use a refresh. Kitchen was well stocked with complimentary trash bags, sponge, dish soap, paper towels, and laundry tabs. Enjoyed our time in Kiawah and will be back!

The unit was clean and decently stocked with appliances and amenities. However, the air conditioning didn’t work very well and the worn out foam topper on the mattress retains heat so I couldn’t get comfortable all night and didn’t get much sleep due to overheating.

Comfortable bed, and good location a few minutes walk from beach. Pictures are deceiving though. Very tight spaces, especially bathroom, and 2 lanterns randomly hanging in living area that my husband kept hitting his head on. The screened porch needs a power wash, and over all a tired unit, but worked fine for our needs and not expensive off season.

We come to Kiawah several times each year and have never had such a humid/muggy house. Had we stayed longer I would have purchased DampRid or something like that. That's is our only real complaint but it really made us uncomfortable.

The location was great Property was fine. Huge bonus to have a washer and dryer. The couch could use a deep cleaning or be replaced - was off putting and made the condo not feel as clean as it could have been or was. Would have been nice to have a broom or dust buster available to sweep up the daily sand brought in from beach.

Upon arrival kitchen door was hanging on one hinge and held on with duct tape. DVD player not hooked up. Hole in wall from curtain rod in family room. Bedroom lamp broken at base and in closet but was still functional but nowhere to plug it in which left one lamp to light the entire room as there was no overhead lighting. No paper towels or dishwasher soap or extra toilet paper. Received paper products etc on Saturday afternoon. We checked out Sunday morning. My husband fixed the kitchen cabinet door. Lamp issue not dealt with. Will never use Vacasa again.

We are so appreciative that the owners allowed our small dog to be with us! The screened porch was our favorite spot when we weren’t at the beach. We are also glad that Kiawah allows leashed dogs on the beach at all times, plus has an off-leash beach down by the club. Even though we couldn’t access the club, there is a parking area just before the gate where we could leave our car and enjoy the off-leash beach. The unit is also located near the Nest Market, which was convenient for pre-cooked meals and sandwiches.

The location is great - a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed being able to have our dog with us as she enjoyed the beach. The bedroom is fine except the tv sits on the bureau and blocks the mirror. The main room is dark and poorly lit. There is west and terse that is showing on the cabinets and other places. To be honest the main living area is a little depressing. The screened in porch is nice and adds light the only negative is that it is right on the path and people are walking/riding by and talking all the time. While the location was great and we appreciated the ability to bring our dog this place was not up to our Starnes and we will not be returning.

The property was perfect for a long weekend. The location was ideal. It is close to the bike path as well as the beach. The information binder was very helpful. The property manger was very responsive answering our questions as well as keeping in touch to make sure all was well.

It was outdated and looked old even thought the furniture was updated. It was dark and dingy. The walls were dirty, the doors were dirty, the dishwasher was dirty and broken, the refrigerator was dirty and broken as well. The shower was old and had mold in the corners. It was our anniversary weekend and we ended up leaving 5 minutes after walking in. What a waste of our anniversary time. We drove 3 and half hours and left.

Great spring break getaway
This is a nice-sized condo for two people and pets. The proximity to the beach is ideal. You can even hear the waves when the winds pick up. The condominium is nicely stocked and updated. The complimentary dishwasher and washing machine detergents were a nice touch along with a few rolls of toilet paper and small bottles of shampoo. Communication was very easy and convenient through texts and emails. I appreciated the occasional check-in texts we received to see how everything was going. I would definitely reserve this condo again.

The condo gave us excellent access to the beach and walking/biking trails. The unit was well equipped and terrific for two. It would have been a tight fit for more of us. The unit has a good kitchen as well as excellent Wi-Fi/internet. It was nicely furnished.

Has what you need.
This condo is small, but plenty of room for our family (2 adults, 5yo, 9mo, 60lb dog). It's so close to the beach, and right on the bike trail, which was really nice. Nothing fancy, but has all you need for a simple stay by the beach. We really appreciated being able to do laundry during our stay, and Night Heron park across the street looks like it's tons of fun during the warmer months.
