This is a perfect accommodation in Lake Como for a family of 3 - situated very conveniently near the Varenna train station, it was only 2-3 min walk from the station and easy to find. Only 1 short flight of stairs to reach the apartment. House was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Toilet and shower facilities were clean and spacious. The host Cristina is a lovely person who went out of the way to give us excellent recommendations for food/restaurants. My parents and I loved our stay here!

The apartment has been very well fitted out and has good security. The kitchen has everything necessary for self catering. The huge shower alone is larger than many hotel bathrooms. The bed is comfortable with nice linen. After an initial hiccup on arrival Cristina was superb at getting it resolved fast. The location is great, 5 mins walk from the station & 10mins to the ferry dock. There is less crowds so it's a bit quieter but still very close to the restaurants & shopping hub.

The trains & traffic were quiet at the weekend but a bit noisy during the week.

the place has a lot of windows and character. it is a 3 minute walk from the train station and a very pleasant 15 minute walk to the action. the place is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable.

Very dark colors of paint on walls and ceiling made the rooms feel small, the lighting is from "spot" lights which limited the overall lighting, only one clothes rack and limited areas to put your things, the air conditioner unit was nicec to have but under-powered to cool the whole flat, the ceiling fan was nice but could be larger also to help with cooling.

Lovely apartment 2 min walk from the train station and 5 min walk to the ferry. We loved the layout of the flat - separate bedroom, spacious bathroom and well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine. Comfy bed, nice and quiet area within 5 min walk of the center of the town. Would stay here again when visiting Varenna!

Huge apartment. Great shower. Great kitchen. Great location. Self check in and check out was super easy. Parking nearby but was kinda spendy. Parked for free on the other side of town.

Advertised as having air conditioning but the ac was a portable room unit between bathroom and bedroom. It was sooo loud. It rattled and vibrated. It sounded like a power tool. When it kicked off and then on, it would startle us awake. Impossible to sleep because it was either hot or noisy. Ruined our stay. Host was a bodiless IM responder who could have been anywhere in the world. That's fine when everything works fine. Not when there's a problem.

We were so pleased that we ended up booking Oriental Coast apartment for our stay in Varenna. The location is absolutely perfect and so close to all the amazing spots you’d want to see and visit. The apartment is kitted out with everything you’d need for your stay and was incredibly comfortable for a short or long visit. Check in was also super easy! We would highly recommend staying here for your next visit to Varenna.

very convenient location and a very large apartment. It was beautifully decorated with everything we needed and exceptionally clean. everything worked including the washer which I definitely needed. the Host responded quickly to several questions I had. it was an easy walk to the ferry and to parking.

Parking in all of Varenna is very expensive which is not the fault of the Host. The City needs to fix the pay boxes because they are making a lot of extra money. It states is 13 Euro per day but it charged us hourly and it was 29 Euro. the walk from the train was very easy and very convenient. I’m sure there are no options for parking.

The apartment is in a great location, near the train station and grocery store, and a short walk to the center of Varenna. The place is fully equipped with a very comfortable bed. The pictures don't do justice to this property. It's a lovely place to stay for a longer trip since you have everything you need. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, spacious home in the heart of Lake Como. We loved our stay here at this beautifully designed and well equipped luxury apartment. Quick walk to the train, ferry port, bars and restaurants. Comfortable bed, great shower and fast wifi!

The most perfect location - 5 minutes from the boat and 30 seconds from the train. We loved the apartment, it had every amenity you could think of. A lovely balcony and it was so clean and easy to access. Cristina made it so easy to check in and answered every question we had; it was a perfect stay

Huge apartment. 1 min walk from Varenna train station and 10 mins walk to ferry to Bellagio and other towns. Quiet apartment with balcony and has Netflix as bonus! Great kitchen facility and the renovated modern bathroom and shower is amazing! The shower was hot and strong, truly enjoyable!

We liked everything about this apartment... location is 100m away from train station... the apartment is really very nice and much much better than the pictures shown on booking.com. the apartment is also big and fully equiped with everything you might need during your stay...

The main building door is small and we had to fold our baby stroller to pass through the door...

The apartment is in a perfect location 2 minutes from the station and 5 minutes from the boats. It is amazingly well equipped and comfortable.

You didn't need keys since access was all granted through a buzzer system. The apartment was very spacious, that was a great surprise -- you have a small kitchen w/ laundry, dining area, living room, separate bedroom with storage racks and the updated bathroom was very nicely done. Oh, also a small little balcony to take in some fresh air. We purposely booked a place close to the train station and were worried about noise at night, but we didn't here a thing. You are minutes walk to Varenna. It's beautiful and I would stay here again.

The internet code posted in the unit was wrong. Without having WIFI, we have to walk into town to find a restaurant with WIFI in order to contact the host for the correct WIFI password.
