Nuestra nueva cabaña es muy espaciosa, tiene 3 niveles con 60 pies de lago privado.
El piso superior tiene baño completo y 2 habitaciones tipo loft muy grandes, cada una con terraza privada; Master BR con TV.
El piso principal tiene un dormitorio de matrimonio con baño completo, cocina totalmente equipada con lavadora y secadora, amplia sala de estar y comedor con TV y balcón con terraza frente al lago; Gran porche lateral con 20 pies más cubierta.
Piso inferior tiene gran salón. Esta habitación tiene una puerta corrediza de vidrio que se abre a una terraza frente al lago que accede a un muelle con un banco desde fines de mayo hasta el 1 de octubre.
En invierno, cuando el lago se congela, nuestra ubicación es perfecta para la pesca en hielo y la navegación en hielo, así como para las actividades y eventos locales de invierno.
Bote de remos, muelle, aire acondicionado y calefacción central, TV por cable y WIFI.
Elegimos comprar esta propiedad del lago Waneta debido a sus aguas de 25-30 pies de profundidad que la hacen ideal para deportes acuáticos, así como para la pesca de lubina y almizcle durante todo el año. El lago es muy amigable para kayak!

The property was lovely and extremely clean, and there was a lot of attention paid to detail. It was a very comfortable place to stay. They also left a bottle of wine, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. This is a perfect place for those who are looking for sleeping arrangements suitable for adults. Three bedrooms with queen sized beds is not easy to find. Two full baths is also not easy to find. (Even a bath and a half is hard to find.) I notice that some have a problem with having to take your shoes off when you are inside. I would recommend that those who have a problem with that simply find another rental. This was a great rental for us, and having to remove our shoes when inside was certainly not a deal breaker.

We would have given a 4.5 star rating if you can do ½ stars. Mark (owner) was a pleasure to work with, always prompt in his responses. There were some minor things that he was not aware of, but said he will remediate for his future guests (such as having his cleaning person clean the dock, coffee maker having a very slow drip, etc.).
Our family enjoyed our stay at this lakefront house, and particularly enjoyed the fishing right off the house’s dock and the lake views on the dock bench. There are a lot of seaweeds by the side of the dock, great for fish to hide in but not inviting for swimmers.
Having the use of 2 kayaks from the rental was wonderful to explore Waneta Lake. There is a small gravel area which made for easy entry onto the lake with the kayaks. The water in this lake is murky and not inviting to swim in – we were disappointed by this. The watersport activities on the lake are more active on the weekends; but the lake was very serene during the weekdays.
There are steep outside stairs to get to the main level entry, and another set of stairs to the dock. There are similar stairs inside which are less steep, and there is an access door from the parking area that leads into a bedroom. The house gets great afternoon sun; the built-in blinds on the slider doors really helped keep the house cooler. Don’t forget only bed linens are provided; so bring your own towels.

This was our third rental in this location over the last 5 summers. We just keep coming back to it. Mr. and Mrs. Noll are wonderful hosts and everything you see on the listing - especially the photos - is what you'll see when you rent this property. The location cannot be beat - it's silent at night, a great way to get away from it all. You're a 10 minute drive from Keuka Lake ... and close to some very good local farm stands for outstanding fresh produce along the way. Enjoy your time here. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Noll for sharing their property!

There is a Dollar General up the block. They have everything and then some.

The house was beautiful and clean. The only problem I had was that the property did not provide towels. It did list that in the check in rules but I missed it and had to go to the dollar general to buy some. Just not something I expect to have to bring with me when I travel so I wish it was highlighted a little more. Other than that, everything about our quick 2 night stay was great. The views from the back yard in the fall were just stunning.

You may wish to replace the stair to get onto the deck from water. I had a mishap! Also because of the missing step I was unable to use the kayak.
Overall, definitely recommend the property for those that can handle stairs. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. My husband and I are from the area and brought our best friends home with us. We enjoyed this place, it had everything we needed, was clean and the owner was very nice! It’s a quiet lake and the husbands enjoyed fishing. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Mark! ☺️

Beautiful lake house, clean and well maintained. Very close to the lake and access for swimming and fishing is great. A/C works great but open the doors and windows and you get a great lake breeze. The 2 kayaks and rowboat are easy to get to and use and we all enjoyed using them. Kitchen was well stocked and a washer and dryer was a bonus. The berdrooms all had closets and the bathrooms were very accessible and very clean. Bring your own towels and food and you are set for a great week. Close to many wineries on Keuka and Seneca. This is a 3-story house so there are quite a few steps. Close to County Road 25 but not much traffic noise. Parking is limited and the motorists tend to drive too fast. Speed limit is 55 but should be 40 considering the Boy Scout camp is just down the road. Overall a very nice lake rental home.

Great Family Getaway
Had a wonderful time, House was just as described. Having the games available made for a great family game night! Wonderful location- was able to get around the finger lakes area & see lots of wineries, museums & go hiking. Would definitely book again if head back to the area.

This home is very nice. Wonderful views of the lake from several rooms. Great decks for outside enjoyment of the lake view while having a glass of wine after doing some wine tasting at local wineries.

Also, numerous admonishments to not wear shoes in the house plus a couple of other things (e.g., minimal kitchen staples, fire pit with no chairs that we were allowed to use around it) made us not feel especially welcome. I think the house would be fine for a bunch of adults, but it wasn't great for us as a family with kids.

The location is great, close to incredibly beautiful state parks and forests. We ended every day, sitting in the back deck, enjoying breathtaking sunsets by the lake. Highly recommendable!

Relaxing few days on one of the smaller Finger Lakes. The cottage is a great central location for all of the local attractions, Watkins Glen, Corning Glass, and of course the wineries. The cottage is well supplied with kitchen utensils and the use of the kayaks and fire pit were a great addition to unwind in the evenings. We enjoyed our stay and will consider this location again for our next visit to the Finger Lakes Region.--The Welkers

We had a great family vacation at Mark’s home. The home is very well appointed, we found absolutely everything we needed to feel at home. The kids loved swimming and kayaking in Waneta lake. Fabulous vacation
This trip exceeded my expectations, the house is beautiful and the location on the lake was perfect. Our girls trip was so relaxing, gorgeous sunsets, kayaking and drinking wine by the lake. What’s better than that! The house is beautifully maintained, it’s obvious they put a lot of work into the home. Don’t hesitate to book here, close enough to everything!

Away from the race track
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful sunsets, fishing off the dock and great bird watching from the patio. Location is ideal, only twenty minutes from Watkins Glen. We will be back next year!
