The location was superb, the views over Gaeta from the terrace were amazing, the building itself was magnificent and best of all was the very excellent service. The host was very friendly and kind and suggested we went to see the sunset at Montagna Spaccata - perhaps the single best piece of advice ever received on a trip!

There was nothing not to like. The only advice I'd give is: if you're using Google Maps to find the B & B (especially if you're coming in a car) search for Via Pio IX 72 rather than Via Ladislao.

Anna, the owner, is a very friendly person! For any request you can write her a whatsapp and she will make it happen or give you any information you requested. If you tell her when you arrive she can organize her schedule to welcome you in person. Since we arrived in train and bus, she even picked us up at the bus station. As you can see on google maps Gaeta medievale has lots of stairs, but thats what makes this little city centre so beautiful and romantic! We managed to do everything with public transport, even if it took some patience buying the right amount of tickets and sometimes good foot work :) so if you have no experience with public transport, better you rent a scooter! Breakfast was tipically italian with the best croissaint ever and fresh fruit. Do not expect english breakfast or a big variety of bread. This is not the italian way of 'fare colazione'. On sunny days we enjoyed the great view from the terrace. I can only recommed this place!

Breakfast could include fresh fruit and a larger choice, but croissants were great!

The location was great. The help of the personel was also very nice, we even got tips for the next destination. The b&b was even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. Amazing breakfast on the rooftop terrace.

The bathroom was in a other room, so we had to walk through the hall to the bathroom. But the bathroom was very nice.

A cute and stunning B&B located right in the middle of Medieval Gaeta. No car needed, everything is reachable by foot or bicycle. Very friendly hosts and a stunning roof top sum up this beautiful stay.

Anna was an amazing host! We came by bus from Formia and she came to pick us up by car, she was always available, gave us great suggestions and helped us in all we needed. The room and common area are sparkling clean. The terrace had an amazing view, it was great to have breakfast there in the morning. We would definitely recommend staying at Santa Lucia B&B and we are looking forward to coming back again!

Anna is an impeccable host ... warm, kind, efficient, resourceful and always smiling. She did a fab job in redecorating the venue, which is pristine, airy and sparkly clean.
