The property is as described and the hosts are extremely available for any question. Warm welcome and treatment during the stay with local wine gift and local pastries. Special requests were dealt with immediately, such as for example getting an extra table as we were 8 and the existing table was only for 7. I would definitely recommend the place for up to 7/8 people.

The question here is what was there not to like? As soon as we made our booking, the host sent us a lovely thank you note for booking their property. The note was the most comprehensive, I had ever received from host. It had lots of information on how to find the property and they also included information on the activities that were available in the area... and all in our language! Having had such a terrible time with a previous host, it was very lovely to receive something that made us look forward to our holiday again. We contacted the host to let them know that our flight was going to arrive fairly late and it might take us a little while to arrive at the property and they informed us that it was no bother at all as long as we gave an estimated time of arrival. On arrival, we met Claudio, who was warm and friendly, at the gate. He greeted every single one of our party (including the kids- they loved it!). Then he showed us the villa. The property itself is beautiful! The advertisement promised a lovely villa- we actually had previously wondered when it was taken and if we were going to meet it in the same state. We were all very pleasantly surprised to find that the picture actually did not do the house any justice at all! The house was immaculate. There was so much space in there that our party of 14 (fourteen) could settle in nicely without being on to of one another ( except we chose to ;-) that is). Needless to say we instantly fell in love with the villa, which made a great difference to our holiday. The gated outside space was lovely. The neighbourhood felt really safe and we wondered around into the town square & market and got to speak to some locals. The views from around the house was breathtaking! Inspired us to take lots of pictures. During our stay, the Caruso family were amazing, checking in on us and ensuring that we had all we needed to make our stay in the house very pleasant- which it was- Thank you very much!

There was seriously nothing to dislike about the villa and our lovely hosts. If pressed, we would say that our holiday was over way too quickly. At the end of our stay at Etna Villa, we wished that we could extend our stay, but alas, reality called!
