Cold breakfast is provided which is not suitable for the Alaska weather . We skipped breakfast to avoid catching cold

I won't recommend coach room. This room gets colder at nights and you can't adjust the thermostat beyond 70 F as mentioned in the room . Felt like dungeon room with no air circulation. We requested and got our heater and fan which is not sufficient for that room/ one person . By the time received our fan and heater the damage is already done . Felt sick and entire trip got spoiled with no other place to stay . Avoid coach room . Poor wifi connection in this room

We booked three rooms in the Carriage House B&B and one of the cabins. All the beds and pillows were wonderful. The place rooms were all clean. The three rooms in the B&B shared a kitchen and TV room. All doors had individual locks for privacy. Breakfast was provided in the fridge!! Rachel and Jake live onsite and are very helpful and friendly. Not all of us used the hot tub but those that did loved it! All in all it is a place that I would return to and would definitely recommend.

They mislead people it looks like you have a private hot tub in the pictures. They should clearly state it is a COMMUNITY HOT TUB. SHARED WITH OTHERS. Their price is three times higher than the hotel with services! The coffee was COVID Bound since it had grounds with a glass jar and a scooper. Too cheap to even buy individual coffee! Even with COVID they are telling people to wash their own dishes! Do they know how many people just put them in the cupboard! If you are not internet savvy, stay away, they make you even set up the wireless! Horrible Stay!

Large, great amenities, great location

TV situation -- Hulu wouldn't work and the instructions to use my own Amazon didn't work. So, I couldn't watch TV

Carriage House is conveniently located in Girdwood. The owners take care to make sure guest feel welcome and provide recommendations on things to do, local restaurants and events. The accommodations are comfortable, cozy and has a very "homey" feel, complete with a kitchen with condiments, coffee and all of the little things. They take great attention to detail to make sure guests feel comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.

Although it wasn't an issue for me personally, there was no cable tv; however there is Netflix.

Good location, really good banana bread. Good breakfast options. Its a decent place. But a bit misleading from the pictures and the 5 star rating.

Did not like the lengthy rule list and 30 minute time restraint on the hot tub. Brutal to experience this on vacation. Not close to a 5 star place. Did not know Id be sharing when booked - in description but not clear in the title. No privacy. Really expensive for what was offered. A 2.5 star accommodation at best.

Overall Comfortable Stay, Facilities provided, Easy check-in and out

Outdoor hot tub was very nice -- but a lot of mosquitos native to the area so beware! Property was beautiful overall and quiet/peaceful. There is a black bear who likes to meander on the edges of the property and was at the side of the garage one morning when we got out to our car! I would recommend to the owners NOT to have an open collectible for recycling just outside the door -- a no-no that will only attract bears.

Even though a full hot breakfast was advertised, we were shown a refrigerator full of Kirkwood prepackaged snacks & hard boiled eggs, granola on the counter, and frozen bagels in freezer we could prepare ourselves. Since we thought we were paying for a full B&B experience, were kinda taken aback by this. Those who are saying they got a hot breakfast were lucky, I guess. We stayed in the Coach room, right next to the kitchen. Girdwood has a few nice breakfast spots, so we got to try them out. Also: we just got a charge on our credit card today from the property 10 days after our stay for an extra $50!. We had already paid in full through Booking.com, and are not pleased about this. Beware if you stay here to check all charges afterwards -- we are disputing the charge, as it is nonsense.
