Small rooms for a family, noisy upstairs common room

Rural B&B just a few miles to Billund and LEGOLAND. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. The guest room was very comfortable and the included breakfast was very good.

We made a family trip to Billund to visit Lego House. Assengard B&B is an 11 minute drive to Lego House. The B&B is in a idyllic location off a quiet country road. The property is large and tidy, with green lawns and flowers blooming. There is a beautiful pond. We rented two rooms, which were immaculately clean and well-furnished. The furnishings seemed brand new. The host greeted us when we arrived, and checked what time we would like her homemade breakfast. Breakfast was abundant, and included homemade bread, fresh eggs from her chickens, jams, cheeses, juice, and coffee, among other things. We will absolutely stay here any time we return. We’ve stayed at hotels in Billund before, and this is a much better value and experience.

Surroundings of the property were very nice, also the property. Very nice staff, willing to meet your requirements. In addition, they offer transportation in the nearby area, if guests have no car. Guests can use the fridge and kitchen facilities.

Candy our host was fabulous. Very helpful, smiley and chatty. She baked every morning amazing buns for us, we had fresh eggs from her coop and she made sure we have everything we need. Location of B&B is perfect for quiet , relaxing time off. Easy access to main roads , close to Legoland , lake nearby with boat and bbq space.

Too bad can only rate 10 out of 10. Amazingly clean room with beautiful bathroom, comfy beds and nice accessories as plugs with usb points. The whole setup including modern fully furnished kitchen, lovely surroundings. Own chicken hence frsh eggs, homemade bread and jam just add to the homely feel. Kids loved to play upstairs in the common area. If weather would be better we would have loved to try out the boat at their own lake. Best of all were our hosts You can't ask for more lovely and attentive persons. . I had a medical emergency the first night and Candy helped no matter the time. They even offered to fetch me fm a hospital 50km away the next day... This couple lived all around the world and are super easy and happy to talk to. I wish we would have had more time with them but billund is too entertaining for kids and our schedule was tight. I hope we will get the chance to come back in nearer future. Should they ever come to Singapore I would be happy to invite them for a nice dinner as a thank you for this outstanding hospitality

The host was really nice. The breakfast was good. Everything was clean and the surrounding was really nice.

Its not that I did not like everything.. but something to put the suitcase on would have been nice to have so you dont have to put them on the bed.

Nothing to complain

The room and facilities were very clean and nicely decorated in typical Scandinavian fashion. Breakfast was served with freshly baked bread and to a time to suit us.. A short distance from the airport, so no long and tiring drive once off the aircraft… a definite bonus!

It’s not a complaint, more a warning to other travellers! Do not turn into the first driveway. At night it can be difficult to see the sign for the B&B car park and I ended up turning in to the owners private drive :)

Host’s hospitality and attention, good parking place and a nice nature enviroment, with a lake with boat behind the B&B facilities. Moreover, it’s only 10 minutos by car far from Legoland.

The rooms are hot in summer (no air conditioning - Billund “issue”).

nothing special , we had a very plesant stay

Very suitable place to stay when visiting Legoland. The hostess is very helpful. The shared kitchen is very well equipped for those who want to prepare their own meals in the evening. The breakfast is what you can expect in a B&B.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay in Assengaard B&B. Candy is truly a hostess after our heart. We followed every single recommendation she gave us incl 2 restaurants in Billund that were both great and the Zoo Safari after we realized Lalandia was sold out. The bedroom, kitchen and lounge/breakfast area were impeccable. Definitely coming back to stay here whenever we plan another trip to Billund.

It is perfectly located if you’re going to Legoland or Lalandia. Very good hospitality and service.

Nice place with near Billund. 10mins driving to LEGOLand. The hostess is so nice. She offers us homemade carrot bread, which is fantastic. I would love to share this info to everyone. Please also take a walk around the beautiful lake.

I could have stayed here much longer than we had time for on our trip - the area is absolutely gorgeous, and the property is large and peaceful and so green! Breakfast was delicious and the accommodations were clean and comfortable.

The only trouble we had was a brief issue with Wi-fi the at the owners quickly resolved. I could not have been more pleased with our stay.
