Stayed for 10 days at the house of Amelie and Emeric in Aldea Blanca (2 adults + 2 kids). Everything was excellent: the house, the garden, the village, our hosts. The house is very practical (has everything you need) and cosy. It is a much better alternative to the mass tourism resorts further south on the coast (which anyway is reached in 20 minutes by car). Amelie and Emeric are just wonderful people and can provide a lot of advice on the surrounding area if needed. Fully recommended.

All you need to feel at home was present in this cottage. The kitchen complete, the beds of real good quality, a romantic little garden. Compliments for the hosts and their attention for details. Bottles of water even in the bedroom, bananas from their own harvest, and time to answer questions. We allready decided where to go next springbreak... This will be our home away from home next year again!

My son and I traveled to Tenerife from NY as his graduation gift. Emeric was very accommodating from the time we arrived until we departed. He gave us an escort to the villa on the first day, so no problem finding it. Everything was as promised! He even provided us with spices, tea, coffee,water, laundry and dish detergent. He works in the travel industry, so very knowledgeable about excursions and set up a whale, dolphin,sea turtle trip which was perfect. The atmosphere was great, like an oasis in the desert, complete with parakeets,kitties and a bunny. We did not have the pleasure of meeting his wife, Amelie, but she was very helpful in the booking, and did not even require a deposit! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Only ten minutes away from the airport and in close distance to the main highway it is a good starting point for discovering the island by rental car. Parking spaces are no problem at all. The apartment itself and the whole surrounding house/yard is beautiful and the hosting family is very friendly and caring about the well-being of the guests. We were supprised about the equipment that the place offered :from a vacuum cleaner to microwave, juicer, small oven...we weren't missing a thing. The neighborhood is quiet, the owner is friendly, in short, everything was just as it is written. We were very satisfied guests.

We were in need of a good rest and we found all we wanted in the cottage. Only a short drive from the airport, a warm and helpful welcome from Amelie, all the comforts we needed, a fine view from the private terrace - it was instant relaxation. There was only a short drive to the supermarkets, to the motorway to get round the island or to the good beach at Montana Roja (Tajita). The cottage was clean and well-equipped. Emeric and Amelie spoke good English and Emeric regularly checked that everything was OK. We tend to visit different places each year but if we were ever back in Tenerife we would happily stay at this cottage

Very nice and calm place. Our family liked the interior of the cottage - it is very tastefully decorated and properly equipped, easy to find every needed thing, from iron to baking paper. Owner is extremely friendly - on the day of arrival he explained us where to find nearest supermarkets and recommended several touristic and non-touristic places to visit. It is strongly recommended to rent a car - as a cottage is located in a quite remote area of the island. Cottage is more than suitable for families with children - there is a garden and a terrace, owners even have a rabbit, parrots and a cat. In general our family absolutely enjoyed being there and for sure would choose the same place to stay for the next time in Tenerife.

"A comfortable,clean,well equipped,house,in a quiet village setting,not overlooked by other property. Although only 20 minutes from the Airport by motorway,the house is behind hills and neither Airport nor motorway can be seen or heard. The very private terrace has a pleasant view over the pretty garden and a hillside of small bushes. The setting is very convenient for access to other areas of the island, and makes an ideal base for a walking holiday - the 45 minute drive to Mt. Teide is winding and spectacular, and Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz are an hour away on the motorway. Highly recommended, and excellent value."

"Wij zijn zeer prettig ontvangen door onze gastheer. Hoewel van origine Fransman, spreekt hij redelijk goed Engels, wat makkelijker praat. Hij heeft ons voorzien van goede adviezen en bood zelfs aan evt. iets voor ons te kunnen regelen. Het huis ligt lekker rustig met een mooi uitzicht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het huis is vanaf het vliegveld makkelijk te bereiken in pakweg 20 minuten en ligt ook dichtbij de snelweg. Een goede uitvalsbasis voor alle uithoeken van Tenerife."

"This holiday cottage was a little piece of paradise in its own little secret garden. You walked through the garage into another world with its own individuality. The gardens and terraces were surrounded by bouganvilla,other colourful climbers and plants, and fruit trees. There were two terraces, one cosy and secluded and the other with views out over the countryside. The cottage was very clean and tastefully furnished in cottage style. It was very private and not over-looked by others. It had everything you could need...just like home!!Although it was very secluded it was also excellently situated for access to whatever you want to do on the island. WE would like to thank Emeric and Amelie for a wonderful experience. We stayed for three weeks and wanted to stay forever!!We would definitely like to book again.:)"

"The accomodation was very clean and comfy with clean bedding and towels. The kitchen was similarly very clean and well stocked. The garden and surroundings were nice. The place is ideal for quiet relaxation and in the same time given its location, it is a good base for the island exploration. Inspite of proximity of the airport, there is no noise whatsoever. Contrary, it is an eerie sight to see planes flying by completely soundless. Seems like there are some terrain features which are diverting all noise away. The owner was allways very helpful, providing us with all kind of advice and directions. Thanks to him we knew where to go to explore not only tourist resorts but the real Tennerife as well. Only disadvantage of this location is that car is a must. However, we are definitely coming back."

"The accomodation was very clean & tidy with adequate bedding & towels. The kitchen was very clean and well stocked with the usual appliances, cutlery & utensils. The garden and surroundings were very nice and although the advert says it is unsuitable for children, we found that with suprevision our 2 & 3 year olds were safe and enjoyed themselves. The location of the property makes it ideal to explore the island and getting to & from the airport is very easy. The owners of the property are probably the biggest asset as they were 100% helpful with any query or problem we had. They also gave us ideas & help with choosing days out & places to eat."

"Accommodation was very well equiped, so it was everything for our needs. Terrace is very nice, just oposite the hill with nice view. The owners are very friendly, so you get assistance from them at any time. Just 2 km away there are couple of big supermarkets. Airport is very close, but at the same time house is located donwhill and it is very quiet there."
