I was at the Hotel Vistalegre and SPA in Portomarin in 2021 on my first Camino and I was impressed even then by the location, the beauty of the decoration, the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel, but especially the overall offer such as SPA and massage, and an excellent, tasty and delicious breakfast, which would when we include the wonderful, friendly and professional staff, Silvia and Laura, who speak perfect English, that magnificent, small - big hotel should and could immediately have four stars, not two.
This year too, Silva and Laura surpassed themselves in organizing my stay, sauna, massage and dinner reservation in the best restaurant. They are fulfilling all your wishes if it is possible.
They even prepared a list of the best restaurants and tapas bars in Santiago for my departure.
I have already been twice there and I will come again.
I recommend Vistalegra Hotel to anyone who wants to feel the attention and care of the hosts who do everything to make you feel at home. Silvia and Laura are an example of how the staff can be a great added value of an already wonderful Hotel. Thank you Silvia, thank you Laura.

Vistalegre Spa Hotel is very nice and modern, small, family hotel, very clean and comfortables rooms with balcony, central located with beautiful view, with sauna, spa and jacuzzi. They have perfect express loundry service, in couples of hours. For spa and sauna users you got mantels and slippers and everything you need. One of the best hotels on Camino way from Saint Jean in France to beautiful Galicia.
Very friendly and kind ladies, Silvia and Mrs. Lorenzo, at the reception are for all questions very helpful and cordial.
They make my stay in Portomarin unforgetable. Thank you Silvia and Mrs Lorenzo. Thank you all. I will come again.

Very convenient location, right next to the main street. Very modern and clean facilities, with elevator to save effort of moving luggage. Absolutely a good choice.

The receptionist upgraded my room and treated this sleepy, tired pilgrim with care. I slept so so well. I took a night off from the albergue snoring to treat myself. excellent choice. right at the top of the stairs after the bridge. a camino gift to myself. . .

our room overlooked a small park with seating which seems to be the place for young peregrinos to sit and drink their supermarket beer and talk loudly until quite late! not the hotels fault but a factor in room choice if
you need to sleep before 11pm!!
