Location was amazing. Trevone Bay is lovely and the coastal walks are spectacular.

The property was on a private road which was so quiet of an evening, you could even hear the sea at high tide. The bungalow was tidy and clean with a lovely garden and view and room spaces were perfect. The beds were comfortable and the towels were fluffy.
It wasn’t a long or that hilly walk too and from the beach.
We all had an excellent time.
We were really happy with everything.
A new outdoor table and chair set would a bonus. For the 3 of us it was fine but for 5 which the property can cater for, it doesn’t provide enough space.

If you're looking for a comfortable bungalow in a picturesque Cornish village situated a stone's throw from a pretty beach, then you won't be disappointed.
Three family friendly bedrooms, a twin, a single and a double with an en suite toilet. The main bathroom is a wet room, comprising a toilet, a sink and an electric shower. To the rear of the property is a cosy dining room, leading to an equipped galley kitchen. A front aspect lounge is a large yet cosy room, accentuated by a lovely working fireplace, a TV with good WiFi are a nice bonus. Having said this, we could only access BBC. Outside to the rear is a laid lawned garden with views over fields. To the front is another lawned area and a driveway with parking for at least four to five cars.
Trevone has a pub/ hotel and a Surf hire and grocery store, all within a couple of minutes walk from Sunways.
Sadly, the Shower was found to be broken on Christmas day morning. (We had arrived late afternoon on Christmas Eve.)
We couldn't cancel on Christmas morning, where could we go? Plus we had all our Christmas food defrosting.
Tessa, the owner of Sunways, was proactive over this complaint, but couldn't help. Not just because of Christmas, but because she also lives abroad. As result communication was limited to WhatsApp calls only.
Compounding the above, was that hot water pressure is very low in this tired bungalow. So not having an electric shower made the one usable bathroom sink awkward to say the least. Two people using pots and pans to shower would work for individual couples with children, but we were older adults, not couples.
Not being able to shower for the duration of our stay was more than upsetting, as this was the first Christmas we had been able to spend together for two years because of COVID.
The above matters were resolved afterwards to both parties satisfaction.

No food made available. Just tea making facilities.
Lack of cleanliness. Lots of cobwebs & I found rolls of dust behind a bedside cabinet when looking for the tiny hearing battery I'd dropped. Oven trays in kitchen were sticky with old fat & needed a good clean before use. Plants & weeds at edge of driveway set car sensors off & made parking difficult

It was in a really quiet location. Being able to sit in the garden and hear the sea was great.
The decor was very dated and could do with a freshen up. The garden was crying out for a tidy

This is a returning stay at Sunways as we loved it so much before. Fabulous location and everything you need for a truly relaxing stay in Cornwall. We look forward to returning again and would recommend with no hesitation to others.
Fabulous beach and lovely walks to Padstow and Harlyn and beyond. Also good for camel trail and even the Eden project if you fancy getting back in the car!

Close proximity to the beach and cornish coastal path.Very clean and very comfortable home for a week , everything you need a home from home .This was amazing because after lockdown of 2020/2021 wmy husband and I whisked our parents away
