El Mirador es un condominio penthouse de 2,120 pies cuadrados con 3 dormitorios y 3 baños completos. Dos master suites con cama King y una habitación Queen con baño completo en el pasillo. Todo con amplias vistas al mar y balcones. La gran sala de techo elevado se abre a un balcón con una mesa de comedor para 6 personas, sofá, mesa de centro y barbacoa. El Mirador es la unidad más alta y única en el quinto piso de los condominios de Segovia ubicados en la comunidad cerrada de Coco Bay Estates.

We were hypnotized by the view! Absolutely beautiful. Unit was comfortable, perfect for our needs and very well located. We felt like we were on top of the world at Playas del Coco. Host and his manager were very responsive.

We have a lovely visit. Craig was a super host, and very responsive to our questions. The condo was very comfortable, with a big balcony and wonderful views. We enjoyed the nearby facilities that were included for all guests staying in Coco Bay Estates - particularly tennis :-)

Staying at el mirador was exactly what we were after. Two teaveling couples enjoyed dueling master suites use of laundry and the added beach club access at ocotal we found to be so fun and useful.
Craig was great to deal with providing very clear instructions and always prompt communication. Other reviews regarding the need of a vehicle due to the hill ARE TRUE. We are fit and thought how steep could it be. Well the distance is long the weather is hot the incline is steep. We had a great rental car so no problem but please be aware. Nice safe location. Well appointed furnishings amd we found to be very comfortable beds. A refreshent in the kitchen utensils/ coomeware plates etc would be nice but that is not a complaint. Safe gated community. Easy run into coco or ocotoal. We used uber a bit. Discovered there are about 10 drivers in the area typical runs about 3000 colones one way. We would park down at thr main club house / sugoi restaurent for pick ups. We used the waze app to gwt around so if your lucky enough to get the use of el.mirador just plug in sugoi japanese restaurant it will take you right to your check in.
The views are incredible off the deck we spent several nites partying there

Such a piece of paradise. I would highly recommend this property. I believe we had the best view ever. We rented a car and was able to get easily around the city and surrounding cities. Great food and very convenient to everything. Craig the property manager was very responsive and helpful answering questions. Thank you Craig for sharing your wonderful home with us.

The property is very nice, a newer community of condos. This unit has 3 spacious bedroom (my kids were so happy), very clean, all kitchen items you would need, comfortable beds and sofas, beautiful view with plenty of patio seating, and nice security point that you must check-in at. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks Craig!

Family w/two adult children. Had a wonderful time. In addition to unit itself, we really enjoyed the property amenities - pool, gym, restaurant/bar. Craig was very attentive and easy to communicate with. While it didn't dampen our overall enjoyment, there is a lot of construction/renovations in the general area right now, which you can easily hear from the balcony.

This was a safe, spacious, and private penthouse with an amazing view. Six adults comfortably stayed here and enjoyed the two clubhouses, pools, and even the tennis courts. One of the clubhouses has an infinity pool and borders Ocotal beach/Father Roosters beachfront restaurant. Craig gave us all of the info we needed to enjoy our trip to Coco/Ocotal.

The view from the condo is awesome. We had three couples that spent a week at the condo. We were on the top floor and had plenty of room for all three couples. Each couple had a bedroom and bathroom with two of them on-suite. We allocated the cost between the couples based on the bedroom to make it fair. Every morning we would sit on the balcony, drink coffee, and marvel at the wonderful view. We used the gas grill almost every night. The condo was on a hill which enables the impressive view but you definitely need a car to get up to the condo and to get into town. Also the clubhouse has a great pool and paddleball court that we used. Great place to spend a few days if you have a larger group. We would stay here again on our next trip if it is available.

The condo is very spacious and easily allowed for 3 couples. The views and deck area of the condo are spectacular.
The Coco Beach area is a 10 minute drive, depending on traffic.
The close club pool is very nice and the restaurant has excellent food and service.
The weather and food in Costa Rica don’t disappoint. A rental car is a must for a stay at this condo, as it sits on top of steep hill.

Beautiful and Well Appointed
Fabulous location plus a fantastic view!! We had 3 couples stay at the condo. The set up was perfect for us! The condo came equipped with everything you could want or need. We had a few issues that came up during our stay and on site property manager was readily available. The communication was great and the issues were promptly dealt with. We would recommend using Alex to help set up tours and activities. He is extremely helpful. We throughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Gorgeous View overlooking Coco Bay and surrounding community.
What a wonderful condo in a peaceful security gated community, yet so close to the town below. We loved the privacy and balcony view from the large condo as well as the the beautiful pool area that we enjoyed almost daily during our stay. The drive up the very steep hill was our highlight every day, and happy we rented an SUV, but the view was worth the drive up the incline. Craig has everything you need in his condo and was so helpful with all the detailed information and recommendations for dining, stores, banks, beaches, activities and layout of Coco Bay. Definitely would love to stay here on a future visit to Costa Rica. Thank you for providing us with such a great home away from home!

Great location which includes Club House Access
Not only is this an awesome condo with great views, but it also includes access to the Club at Coco Bay which has a beautiful pool with food and drink service as well as tennis and pickleball courts. The Sugoi restaurant at the Club has great food and service.

Excellent views from a wonderful place
Our groups really enjoyed our stay here, especially the penthouse location atop a hill overlooking the Coco Bay. It was great relaxing after diving either on one of 3 balconies, or at the Clubhouse pool (which comes free with the stay). Renting a car makes it easy to come and go from the condo to Coco Beach or Ocotal Beach, both 5 minutes away by car.

Cocoa Beach great choice!
We enjoyed our stay at Cocoa Beach but happened to hit the windy season and was not able to use the patio or the barbecue during our stay. You definitely need a car there is no walking anywhere from this location. The Cocoa Beach area is a great location for visiting all the other beautiful beaches in the area. You have to have a car to get anywhere from this location.. The pool at the bottom of hill that comes with condo is beautiful however the restaurant was closed and there were no services offered so you had to bring your own drinks etc..The nearby Octal Beach where the ocean pool for the condo is was quite a ways from condo ! it’s black sand very hot!! There is a restaurant next door called Father Rooster and we ate there several times , the Poke Bowl is the bomb!! We drove to Lake Arenal it’s beautiful country there and the brewery is a must!!
The condo was great for two couples with the bedrooms being on opposite ends. We never turned on the TV we were on the go every day. One thing I would suggest is that the condo is stocked with a couple of beach chairs to take to beach and maybe an ice chest! We love Costa Rica and will be back !

Amazing vacation
This was our first trip to Costa Rica. We were looking for a place with a great view and also privacy. We had both with this condo. We would wake up in the morning and sit on the terrace with amazing views of coco bay and mountains. Check in was easy. Easy communication with Craig, owner of condo. Even though this condo if large and for families, it was just two of us and we loved all of the room. So don't let this defer you if you are a couple. Alex was amazing and helped us with our daily tours, he is a must! We used the pool on several occasions down at the clubhouse. We were very close to town and actually walked there several times for dinner. We did drive down to the clubhouse and walk from there as the hill up to the condo is steep. Our favorite restaurants were Citron, Father Rooster and Ginger in Playa Hermosa. We had no idea where to stay since we have never been to Costa Rica but this area was so close to everything. If you are looking, you really can't go wrong staying here. Privacy, beaches, restaurants. Even went to a few Volcano tours which was only an hour or so away.

$Million views & an excellent home base!
El Mirador was exactly as advertised with the balcony views being even more spectacular in person! Craig was excellent communicating with our group of 6, providing details/information about the condo, The Club & the surrounding areas. He has a handyman Jesus on site if needed and gets you in touch with an excellent guide Alex of The Park4you who is an awesome source of information about Guanacaste & Costa Rica. You do need a car (we had 2 for our group of 6) as the condo building is perched high in the hills, very high! “That” can be a negative for those wanting to walk spontaneously to beaches, shops & restaurants but the views and security of this location more than offset that for us. We will miss this place, the views & Costa Rica 🇨🇷! We all had an awesome trip!

What you see is what you get
We loved our stay at this property, I picked it for the view and space and it delivers. It is best to have a car, but we don't have any problem driving in costa rica. If you do any excursions you must use Alex, he is amazing and the rain forest waterfall tour is the best! He is a wealth of information on Costa Rica and speaks great English. Wonderful vacation !!!!
This is our 2nd time visiting this beautiful condo.
Playa de Coco is a cute Costa Rican beach town. We found great places to eat on the beach and town. We did a sunset sailing cruise and jet skiing which was a blast. We went up country for zipling and horseback riding. I highly recommend this beautiful. condo. Sitting on the patio doesn't get any better. The kitchen is perfect and has everything you would need. We can't wait to go back!!!!

The views are absolutely gorgeous from this property!
We had such a wonderful time in Costa Rica! Staying at this property was icing on the cake! The property is very well maintained and the owner ensures that all goes well, both pre and post trip. The property is nicely decorated and clean. Beds are comfortable. WiFi worked great. We cooked a few meals at the property and found the kitchen to be satisfactorily stocked for our purposes. There was a nice grill on balcony to use for the meals that we prepared. The part that we enjoyed the most were the balconies and the views! We spent quite a bit of time on the balcony during sunrise and sunset. We never even turned the TV on!
The property included access to 2 club houses, one in the gated community and one on the beach. We really enjoyed the club house in the gated community. The pool was gorgeous! The club house on the beach is nice too (infinity pool and monkeys in the trees). The property is on top of a very steep hill so best to rent a car to get around, even to the gated community club house. My daughter walked it but I didn't even attempt the climb down.
The Playa del Coco area is great. We enjoyed the town with the restaurants and shops. Two large grocery stores are in town with nice selections, if you plan on cooking. There are many great restaurants in the area too. We took a few excursions while there (both north and south and on our own) but the owner of the property provided lots of options for us to look into. Highly recommend exploring a bit while in Costa Rica. It is a beautiful country and the locals are friendly. Drive during the day though. Roads are not well labeled and secondary roads are dirt and steep.
I also highly recommend staying inland for a few days. We flew into Liberia and stayed near Arenal Volcano for a few days before going to the coast. We were able to hike around the volcano, see La Fortuna water fall (and swim there too), visit the hot springs, spend several hours at the hanging bridge park and hike to Rio Celeste (blue river) all in a few days before going to the coast. I had blisters on my feet but it was well worth it! While on the coast, we went to Playa Conchal, Playa Hermosa and many other Playas...all having their own charm. Also did a sunset sailboat cruise. This was a fabulous trip and staying at this property made it even better!

Great location, amazing views
My family and I had a great stay at El Mirador. From the balcony, you have one of, if not the best, view of Coco Bay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and could comfortably accommodate 6 adults plus our children. The entire property was authentic yet well maintained and felt very safe. I would recommend renting a car if you stay at this property. You are a short drive from the town of Coco Bay and many restaurants, beaches and other excursions.

Great condo with amazing views. Also has lovely amenities & a nice pool area plus beach club! All bedrooms are very big and there are three bathrooms which is a plus. Top floor so you get the most insane views from each room & the balconies! Highly recommend :)

Fantastic Stay at Wonderful Condo
Staying for an entire week at Craig's condo was such a privilege. Every aspect of our stay at Craig's condo felt somehow personalized and like home . The bathrooms were impeccable, the bedrooms were spacious and cozy, the beds made me fall asleep on a cloud, and the sheets - I'm a stickler for good sheets, and these threads were soft and sumptuous.
The views from the spacious terrace are meditative. Enjoying my coffee there every morning was a special treat. It’s a short ride to the beach (10minutes) where we enjoyed many days relaxing and soaking up there sun.
Playas del Coco is full of great restaurants (try Santorini, Citron, Kaixo, and Mar Azul) snackeries, eateries, coffee coffee coffee, and just the warmest local vibe I've ever experienced. The feeling of home that started in Craig's condo extended all the way to the town. Such a magical place, and such a fine host. I will absolutely be back - and I can't wait to stay in Craig's condo again, a (super nice) home away from home.

Gorgeous Condo with Stunning Views
Craig’s condo in Liberia/Coco Beach is an absolute must-visit. The space is very large and would be suitable for a big group. The full size and fully-stocked kitchen allowed for home-cooked meals with gorgeous seating on the extra-wide terrace. The bedrooms were very spacious with huge bathrooms (one even has a spa-style tub) and plenty of space in the walk-in closets for clothing, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets super soft.
The location is great and is only a 5 minute drive to the bottom of the hill where you will find excellent restaurants, bars and grocery stores and most importantly-the beach!
With so much to do in Liberia, you will most likely spend a fair amount of time outside exploring, but I highly recommend Craig’s condo as a comfortable, clean and cozy place to hang your hat at the end of the day.

Wonderful Vacation...the BEST
This was one of our best trips ever! The description of the condo didn't do it justice, it was so much more. The ocean views from this penthouse condo are unbelievable. Loved spending time on the OCEAN VIEW balcony when we decided to stay in and BBQ and just hangout. The beaches are beautiful and we spent a lot of our time at the beach club. There is also a pool, gym and tennis. We did a fishing trip and went river rafting...loved it.
We can't wait to go back.

MY REVIEW OF THIS 5 STAR CONDO
The amenities were just as described. All we really needed was the balcony, with the panoramic view of the city, and bay. The owner gave us the names and phone numbers of great contacts in Costa Rica We were able to arrange transportation to and from the airport. We also arranged a guided tour of the rain forest & monkey rehabilitation sanctuary. The contacts were so knowledgeable about Costa Rica, they filled our travel time up with wonderful information. The owner also gave us the names of some great restaurants. When you go, make sure to stop by the bay, we saw a 4ft. iguana walking along the sand, and there is beautiful pottery to buy. I would highly recommend this property.

El Mirador: stunningly beautiful and relaxing!
My family and I stayed for a week in January. The condo is well appointed has a ton of amenities and is blessed with spectacular views. The owner was quick to answer any questions and offered many ideas to fill our days with local fun and flavor. This a top-floor condo, close to both town and beach, with two pools, a gym and fabulous beach club. Come to El Mirador, you won't want to leave!!
