We had 11 family members from ages 4 to 60. The house is designed perfectly for an extended family. It is in a great location and very beautiful. We had a couple of issues arise and the host was great in trying to fix. We had a wonderful trip despite being there during Debby. We can't wait to book again!

The house is well situated and equipped. The layout is perfect for multigenerational stays with sleeping quarters for a family with children on the second floor, that includes to en suite bathrooms, and a quiet get away master on the fourth floor for grandparents or older friends. The third floor has an expansive open floor plan with a modern kitchen, large dining table, large living area and a half bath. The small elevator makes the house perfect for many with limited mobility and for everyone on move in and move out days.

We take a family Carolina Beach trip each summer. This was our fist time in this house. It is a very nice, large home with room for everyone. My granddaughters loved the bunk room. The neighborhood was very nice. The walkway to the beach is great and the beach itself was beautiful. The owner is quick to respond to any issues. We all agreed we would love to stay here again.

First time to Carolina Beach and this house was great. Wonderful ocean view from top porch and the house was spacious and well stocked from the kitchen to beach toys, floats and chairs. Very nice beach which was especially enjoyable for early morning walks. Only negative was that the bunk room beds were not terribly comfortable as you could feel the springs in the full bunk bed mattress - perhaps not an issue for small kids but not ideal for an adult. Otherwise house was great and the elevator was handy for move in and out at beginning and end of the week.

We loved this house. Lots of room, well-furnished, clean, beautiful views and a great location. The elevator is a godsend! Hosts were kind and helpful. Our adult kids loved being able to walk to coffee, restaurants and nightlife. We would come back in a minute.

Wonderful house for family and friends. We had age range of 25-80, and it worked for us all. Owner was responsive and engaged. Well stocked kitchen and nice linens. Perfect location. Young adults could walk to nearby bar and grill, and others could do a seafood boil and enjoy it on 4th floor deck which has late afternoon shade, so it’s perfect for cocktails, dinner and sunset. Something for everyone!

We came back for a second year because of the great floor plan, well stocked kitchen, multiple decks, and easy beach access. The quieter beach was a perfect fit for both my mother in law and my young grand granddaughter. Carolina Beach has quickly become a favorite destination.

Wonderful house! We loved spending time with the family and cooking our thanksgiving meal together in this cottage. The appliances were fabulous and having a view of the ocean made cooking not so bad. We easily transitioned between Carolina Beach and Wilmington and loved seeing both the sunrise and the gorgeous sunsets each day. t was lovely having an ocean view and a view of the intercoastal waterway. Wonderful family getaway!

We stayed here for our family vacay and had a great time. The home is spacious and has direct access to the beach, there is a lovely private boardwalk that leads you straight to the shore. The home is four levels, so having the elevator was nice for taking luggage and groceries upstairs. We had to contact the owner once and he was very responsive and kind. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Our family and I stayed all week and we had everything essential we needed. Plenty of toilet paper for the week, every sink had hand soap, towels and wash clothes, kitchen towels and clothes, all the chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, umbrellas you would ever need, and the location was near everything. I highly recommend this home and would love to rent again.

The house was in a great location right off the beach. It was great that they provided beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. The neighborhood was quiet. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again. The only negative was that the pullout sofa was not useable. The mattress was very dirty and somehow needed to be blown up with air. So don’t count on that as an option for sleeping. We would recommend this property!

The house is beautiful and well equipped (lots of nice beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys if you have kids...also kitchen items for cooking/eating, along with supplies like dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent/dryer sheets, hand soap in all the bathrooms, and toilet paper). The front deck gives you views of the bay while the upstairs back deck faces the ocean...best of both worlds! Although we used the stairs most of the time (good exercise!), it was great having the elevator for luggage and grocery runs. Steve was right on top of things and responded to my messages within a short amount of time. We did have issues with the TV not being connected, but let Steve know so that it could be rectified for the next renters. TV wasn't a big deal with the ocean and beach right in front of us. It also gave us the opportunity to play more games in the evening!

This is a beautiful home. We appreciated that this was not a duplex/multi-unit home, like the majority of others in the area. Gorgeous view of the beach from the top 2 floors and private beach access from the home. Having the elevator to get our luggage and groceries upstairs was a huge plus. Biggest complaint was internet speed, as I need to be able to have a reliable connection to my office when I am out of town. Would highly recommend for a family vacation.
