We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay. The cottage was spic and span when we arrived (and we hope not too much worse for wear when we left! ) We could dock our boat right down the hill. Our only disappointment was that Julia was abroad on her own vacation so we didn't cross paths.

We loved it so much last year we came back for a second stay. This property and location are just perfect. Julia, the owner and host, is so warm and welcoming and genuinely excited to share her beautiful property.
This is a terrific spot to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet, with still plenty to do close by and on property. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Great family vacation
Our family had a great time on Long Lake and staying at Cosmos Cottage. Julia was an amazing resource with her knowledge of area. We rented a pontoon boat at Harrison Marina which made the experience one to remember

What an amazing place!
We had a great time at cosmos cottage. From the moment we arrived - everything was so clean, well organized , cozy. Julia had thought of every little detail.
Enjoy your time at the dock. Take walks, swim, use kayaks. Such warm place, filled with fresh air and the love of the owner.

Perfect
Just what we were looking for! We wanted somewhere close to the mountain for skiing, but also where we could ice skate and ice fish. This couldn't have been more perfect. Julia was so kind and accommodating and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. The property was clean and perfectly supplied. We'll be booking again.

Relaxing Family Vacation
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 young adult sons. We absolutely loved everything about this property. Loved taking our little boat across the lake for lunch. Lots of hiking trails in the area to explore. Julia, the owner, is so sweet and helpful. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The lake views were just amazing.

Best Family Vacation Ever!
Our family had a wonderful week at Julia's Cosmo's Cottage.
The location and cottage are perfect, and Long Lake is beautiful.
Julia is an amazing and very thoughtful host. She knows exactly what a family needs to enjoy a lake front cottage vacation and provides it all and more.
It was great having her right next door. We chatted with her at least once a day, and it seemed like she was an old friend who we had known for years.
We spent the entire week on the water swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and tubing. The huge smiles on our kids faces when they got to go tubing for the first time was priceless.
When our week was over, our kids did not want to leave and told us they want to come back to Julia's cottage every year.
It really was the best family vacation ever. We got to relax and recharge while spending lots of quality time together as a family making memories that will last a lifetime.
We will definitely be back.

Wonderful lake cottage for young kids
This was the most exceptionally maintained rental we’ve ever had. A wonderful cottage in excellent condition, spotlessly clean. Our host had thought out every need for a stay and provided for it.
The property is excellent with a nice yard on the lakeshore, sandy area for kids to swim, large accessible dock and a great fire pit. The host living right next door is a major plus - she is very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, but still manages to make the rental very private.
The cottage itself is well fitted out and very comfortable. Our family of four also made use of the living area futon as a third bedroom and it worked great. Both nearby towns offer fun for rainy days and the lake is beautiful.

Perfect little cottage!
This little cottage had everything we needed including the s’mores kit, which was such a nice touch. The inside was super clean and comfortable. Long Lake is wonderful with beautiful clear water. My son enjoyed fishing right from the dock. Julia is a great hostess, right there if you need anything but not intrusive at all. Thank you for such a memorable vacation.

Great weekend on Long Lake
Judy is an amazing host. The house is super clean and had everything- linens, extra towels, first aid kit (which we used when my son got a cut), s’mores kit for the fire pit, the laundry room (kids got wet every chance they got). We rented a boat at Gateway and the dock was great, and the kids just liked swimming around the dock area. Kayaking to ice cream was also so fun. We had great weather and we’re grateful for the A/C at night. Judy pointed us to Restaurants and they were great. She was there when we needed something, but we also had tons of privacy and enjoyed being outside in the yard and sitting on the lake. The yard also looks amazing with new landscaping. Great place to stay!

Weekend getaway
We were looking for a weekend getaway with a few friends and Julie’s place was just perfect. We enjoyed BBQ by the fire, morning coffee on the dock, and the cottage was clean and very well stocked. We stayed in early October and the bedrooms each had ample heating.

This is a lovely lakefront cottage ,well maintained and with all amenities. Julia is a wonderful host, very friendly and gracious to accept last minute requests from us. We absolutely loved our stay here and are looking forward to coming back.

Excellent lake house in Bridgton
Meticulously kept and renovated lake house at the North end of Long Lake, a short distance from the small town of Harrison. 2 bedroom and a futon. Clean, with new utilities wifi, tv, oven dishwasher and grill. Back yard leads with fire pit leads to dock and lake. 2 kayaks included. Owner lives next door and super helpful. Lake is gorgous. There is some boat traffic, but not bad. Plenty of wild live, short drive to Harrison, Bridgeton and Naples. Easy kayak trip to the icecream store in Harrison was a hit with the kids.

Lovely stay at Julia's Long Lake Cottage
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julia's Long Lake Cottage. The cottage is compact, but well designed and equipped with many extras, including a wide selection of k-cups and a complete s'mores kit. (We really enjoyed our campfire!)The reservation and check-in process was very easy and Julia is very responsive to questions. The waterfront area is very peaceful, with adirondack chairs on the dock and grass. There are some rocks and grasses in the access area but they are easy to swim around for enjoyable swims. The cottage is conveniently located within easy walking and boating distance of Harrison and is only a few miles from Bridgton as well. Julia is a great host and we recommend staying at her cottage!

Excellent Summer Vacation with Family
This place really is a gem. It is small, but for our family (myself, my wife, my parents, and our 2 kids ages 5 & 7) it was perfect. The lake is gorgeous, great fishing, and the location is perfect. We walked into town, got ice cream at the Creamery and any thing else we needed we found at The Tie Up or the Harrison General Store (all right next to eachother). Long Lake is spectacular and this home was perfect for us. Julia was right next door and couldn't have been nicer and more accomadating. Everything was perfect.

Relaxation and fun at the lake
We enjoyed a wonderful week at Julia’s cottage with our twin 6 year old boys. The house was perfect for our family of 4 (we had our boys share the queen bed). Upon arrival the house was spotlessly clean and nicely cool (which was great since it was 90 degrees outside). The views of the lake from the upstairs and the sound of loon calls in the night were lovely. Although Julia was away the week we were there, she checked in on us via message and was very friendly and responsive. The cottage is not overly large, but the layout is very nice and the furniture was quite comfortable. The lake was perfect for our 6 year olds. There is a sandy bottom near the shore and calm warm water for floating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and swimming. Although the lake was busy with powerboats on the weekend, they stuck to the middle of the lake and the area near the house felt very protected. During the weekdays the lake was quiet. Ideal for a relaxing day by the lake with our kids. Julia also recommended a wonderful hike, and we enjoyed fires in the fire pit. The only thing we didn’t use was the lawn games we brought, as the lawn down to the water was quite wet, but we didn’t miss those as the lake was so great. There is a great washer and dryer and a new grill at the house. We enjoyed both of those. Overall, the house was just as we had hoped it would be, and the lake was perfect.

Wonderful place to stay.
The cottage was perfect for us. Comfortable and clean. Very homey. Great place to sit back and just relax. Julia thought of everything. If you needed or wanted something it was available, just open the door to a cabinet or closet. Great view of Long Lake. Julia was easy to contact and responded quickly to our messages. No doubt we will be visiting again.

Wonderful experience.
Julia is a very thoughtful Hostess. The property was spotless and there were many thoughtful features such as the mobile phone charging stations at each bed. We loved the Campfire Grill Lobster Rolls and Beth's Kitchen in Bridgton was awesome. Thank you for those recommendations Julia. We had a wonderful lake experience due to the accomodations and of course the interconnected Long Lake, Brandy Pond and Sebago lake made for great boating.

Amazing Long Lake Waterfront
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Julia's Long Lake waterfront rental! The rental was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. The waterfront views were breathtaking! I loved sitting on the front deck with my morning coffee soaking in the amazing view. If you have a boat, the dock is so convenient, only a few steps from the door. The rental was so inviting, everything from the reservation to checkout was well organized. We look forward to staying there again!

Perfect family time.
Julia couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. The cabin was
in a great, quiet location on a huge lake. We brought our 2 yr grandson and he had a blast fishing off dock, swimming, and riding in kayak! We recommend this to anyone with kids who want to relax and enjoy outdoors!

Great vacation!
We had a great week in Bridgton! We were lucky to have fantastic weather to be able to enjoy the water and kayaks at the house. The home was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed and Julia was great with answering any questions and concerns we had. The only downfall was the yard. We were looking forward to having a nice lawn to have our 3 yo play on but maybe because of the wet spring we’ve had it was very swampy. Overall we had a great stay!

Cozy family cottage
Our family spent the week of July 4th in this cozy cottage. Plenty of room to organize and move about with 2 small children. Everything you could need was available on site. Julia was a very attentive host.
We wished we could have utilized the outdoor space a bit more but the amount of rain we've experienced this summer made it a bit soggy. We visited a number of public beaches around town within minutes of the cottage.
We decided not to bring our boat on the trip but the dock is certainly sufficient for any size boat suitable for long lake.

Great location, wonderful communication
We enjoyed our stay at this adorable lake house.. Unfortunately, the weather did not permit us to use the lake and lake amenities but I am sure it is wonderful in the summer. The owner of this property is very attentive and accommodating. She was readily available for anything we needed. One of my favorite things was watching two families of geese visit the property every morning. When we had sun, it was a bright and beautiful place to be. It’s close to both Bridgton and Harrison. We enjoyed going into town to eat at Beth’s Cafe. The neighbors are friendly and it feels like a nice, safe community. Definitely recommend this property!

My Happy Place!
I can’t say enough amazing things about this lake front property! I rented long term during the winter months and couldn’t of been happier! The views, the location, the decor, and the host Julia were all part of what made my stay perfect!
The view of Long Lake is beautiful and can be seen from every window. The beds are very comfortable and the house is equipped with everything you could ever need or want.
This is definitely a wonderful place for the whole family to enjoy for the summer or winter months! If you enjoy walking, Harrison Center is a short walk to enjoy food, coffee, etc.
The town of Bridgton is also filled with lots of things to do : restaurants, movies, hiking, live music, drive-in, shopping, skiing, snow shoeing, and so much more!
Julia has done a wonderful job making sure this home is a comfortable, enjoyable, and a memorable place to spend your vacation!
