Fantastic location

Beautiful cottage, good location if you have a car and very quiet at night. Excellent to spend a couple of days and explore the city

Location was great for exploring Bath and being able to park our car. It is about a mile to the main sights, and the family did find it a bit of a struggle uphill to get back at the end of the day (but we could have waited for the bus to be fair 😀). Bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was pretty well equipped to make family meals. Nice shower and plenty of hot water. Great views over Bath from just the end of the quiet little private road, and pretty amazing views from the bathroom even! 😀

The lounge furniture was pretty battered so not quite as comfy for sitting in the evenings as it could have been. Missing curtains at one end of lounge so a bit light for sleeping if you want it as a bedroom with the sofa bed.

Spacious cottage at the top of a hill. Beautiful gardens and views. Full kitchen and washer and dryer.

Location, beautiful views and surroundings. Friendly local cat. Good facilities, we were able to wash and dry done clothes. Lovely vintage items.

Hot! It was really hot in the bedrooms.

Peaceful location close to Bath. Competitively priced and ample information and support provided by owners.

A bit more attention to cleanliness and facilities could make all the difference. Oven and microwave both needed cleaning, crumbs on worktop under toaster when arrived, bathroom curtains stained and extractor fan clogged with dust. Supposed to sleep up to six people, but despite a multitude of kitchen products, glasses and DVDs available - only 4 knives and a shortage of crockery, some of which was chipped. Outside the garden was overgrown to the extent that some parts weren't safely accessible, and hedges, bushes and trees now obscuring much of what is a lovely view over the city. Small changes could make a big difference to guest enjoyment of the property.

We loved the setting of the bungalow, it was very clean and perfectly equipped.

Great location and breathtaking views and in a country setting. Comfortable rooms and a great range of activities provided DVD's, games, books and puzzles. WIFI was provided. Great place to enjoy nature, (tip - head off for a walk on the Bath Skyline on Claverton Down just up the hill).

Lovely property with amazing views over Bath, and a short walk down/ up the hill into the city centre. very clean and well equipped with anything you may need.

Nice, clean and spacious cottage. Perfect location for us as we were visiting the University. Exactly as advertised and very clear instructions from owner for arrival and access.

Wish there had been some milk in the fridge for a cup of tea but that’s a minor point! Radiator in the larger bedroom wasn’t so effective but otherwise it was all perfect thanks!

From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home..the whole feel for the place was perfect, cosy, quiet and full of interesting and homely touches, just what we needed. There was a lot of personal little artifacts that gave us a small insight into the owners, being if a similar mindset, I found this very intriguing and added to the overall experience. The facilities were spot on and although thankfully, the place had not been renovated to modern hotel designs, the quality of the mattress and bedding showed that thought had gone into the right places. We loved our stay and our only complaint is that we should've stayed longer. We just didn't want to leave.

The bungalow was well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle and everything in the kitchen. There was a range tea and coffee available. There was a very large fridge freezer and a dishwasher. Plenty of space for five or six people to sit in the sitting room and watch the TV. A range of DVD and books were available. Great views of the city of Bath. I expect it would be good to sit out in the garden although it was too cold went we visited to do so. The location would be a good base to explore the wider area.

It's a long steep walk down to the city. We got a taxi back which cost about the same as 6 or 7 hours in a city centre long stay car park. The location is good for exploring the countryside but not so handy for the city.

The cottage is lovely! Everything is there that you will need !! Very cosy and beautiful surroundings! Definitely would return !
