We have stayed here several times. Our room was adequate. Water pressure in shower and bathroom sink was horrible. The bed in this unit needs to be replaced. So uncomfortable. Felt like we were sleeping on hard springs. TV was nice in sitting room. Management was wonderful as always and very accommodating. Washers and dryers are old and need to be replaced. Overall housekeeping and cleanliness of room was satisfactory. Couch in sitting room needs to be replaced. Very old and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, during our stay the pool area was overtaken by a large group of guests playing loud music and monopolizing every table and chair. We couldn't get in and out of the pool because they had tied up a beach umbrella to the handrail and using the steps to get in and out of the pool was not an option. In the past our stays have been quiet and very little guests. And the biggest turn off with the pool area is that guests were coming straight from the beach and not rinsing off and the pool was filled with sand and not so clean. Plus, my wife and I did not see one guest exit the pool to use a bathroom all day leaving us to believe that the pool was the bathroom. I mean we were at the pool from 9am to 4pm every day and not one person got out except for my wife and I to use the facilities. Finally, the outside patio sitting area needs new furniture. Some chairs are damaged. And the screened in porch needs to be replaced. Many holes in the screen causing critters to get in. And the door latch on the screen door was broke. Someone prior to us staying there broke the screen to unlatch the door and we did get locked out a few times. Would we stay there again, yes. It's our Florida spot and always has been. But definitely would stay in a different room or updated room for the amount of money we pay to stay there.

It was so quiet on the property! We practically had the beach to ourself also. They provided beach chairs & umbrellas. Super easy check-in & check-out. The condo itself was nice & clean & had beautiful views. 10/10 all around

We were in room 242. Upon arrival we were told that a family had rented several rooms next to each other and that some things may be missing from the room. The towel bar in the bathroom was broken off the wall, the tub was not very clean there was actually hair in the one corner and mold on the floor next to the tub. The shower head trickled water out. It was extremely hard to take a shower. The sliding door was not working properly. My husband had to use two hands to open and close it. There was a bad smell in the kitchen. We finally figured it out near the end of our stay. I opened the dishwasher and it had about 3 inches of water in the bottom and was all mold. Disgusting smell. The beach chairs were not unlocked one day because they said the waves were too high. I asked we could just have two chairs and we would keep them close to the stack of chairs and was told no. The dressers in the room were not cleaned and the remotes were disgustingly dirty. We have stayed her several times before but this time was the worst. I let the manager in the office know of these issues. The manager was very polite and helpful.

An opportunity arose as we were babysitting our five year old granddaughter - so we came back with her and had a wonderful time. The unit was attractive, clean and comfortable. I booked this property online because it was one of the most reasonably priced. It has rooms that lead directly to the pool and the beautiful beach beyond. I’m handicapped and really appreciated being able to go right out our screened in patio to pool or beach. The water was aqua and gorgeous! The people were so nice and very accommodating! Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. The area and grounds were beautiful and it was super easy to get to the beach. My husband is disabled and this was a huge plus. The unit was what was advertised. We loved it being on the ground floor with no steps to climb. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the tv with Netflix options was a plus we do not get to enjoy this amenity at home. The front desk was very helpful and courteous.
The only observations that may need attention are the shower pressure and drain. The pressure was low and the drain didn’t want to work very well. We made it fine but it might be an area to consider looking into. It might be good to have a few more utensils in the kitchen as well as a noodle ladle.

Everything was very nice. Our only problem was the sliding glass door was open when we checked in, and was hard to close. We had a heck of a time locking it. Otherwise, nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Would recommend.

This property has a spectacular location, very accessible to walk from your unit right to the beach. They have chairs and beach toys for there guests, and a shower to rinse off after a long day on the beach. The pool is quite large, and kept up well. The property is in a great location, close to shopping and many restaurants, but far enough for a peaceful retreat. Each unit has a screened in porch, so at night the bugs dont bother you. They even supply a drying rack for wet suits and towels. Our unit was very clean and had everything we would need for a weeks stay. I will come back here again !!

great destination. great accommodations. mid-key makes it idea. good restaurants nearby so no need to get in line to go up to AMI. only ask, reconsider decking material on the stairs going down to the beach. unbearable to walk on barefoot when the sun is hitting it.

The check in was quick and easy, provided us with nice map and outline of property. The pool close the beach access was amazing! Although there was a little red tide that didn’t slow us down. We rented a couple of bikes and just hopped down to some public beaches where it wasn’t as bad. We were able to keep them secure on our linai that made evenings enjoyable as well. We will be returning to this place in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the Silver Sands. Our bathroom plumbing had a few issues but we got it taken care of quickly. The kitchen was not very well equipped for the cooking we did for the week. Margaret, at the front desk, was very helpful and accommodating. We really appreciated her helpfulness. We thought the location was ideal and would stay again.

Stayed for a week and overall it was great but the cleaning crew could do a better job though, which is why I can't give a 5 star review.
Margaret at the front desk was fantastic, so helpful and friendly.
The pool area and beach were perfect and having access to bikes at Cedars was a plus.
We ate at Harry's, Blu Kouzina, Cafe L'Europe and Mar Vista. Highly recommend them all.

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the HEATED pool and beach. My husband and I are retired but watch our grandkids. We ended up sharing this vacation with our 5-year-old granddaughter who is still in preschool. Grandpa and Grandaughter must have stayed in the pool 12 hrs a day. The condo we stayed in was updated but it could use a few more items for cooking. The refrigerator was an eyesore, but it worked great. The property's mgmt was 100 percent positive and VERY friendly and professional. Would recommend and stay here again.

Nice vacation rental with pool and beach access. Needs some maintenance though - fridge is rusted, microwave doesn’t rotate, dish washer and bath fan sound like freight trains. Back door to lanai doesn’t lock so have to walk around. Shower faucet handle getting ready to fall off. Various dings and scratches. Bed was squeaky.

We absolutely loved our stay. The unit was clean, we LOVED the resort atmosphere, the easy steps to the water, the sea turtles, the bike trails, and easy access to delicious to local restaurants. We definitely will come back! The remaining comments are meant to be constructive because our stay was lovely! Sleeper sofa is pretty bad. It desperately needs a new matress. Master bed is VERY comfortable. Fort he $$ of the rental, please updte the refrigerator. The ice box decides when it does and does not want to work. The whole refrigerator shows rust. Also, please spend $5.00 or less on a shower curtain liner that isn't yellow with age (or whatever it is).

Very nice place and great location! I would say the kitchen could use a few more items such as serving bowls. And the patio view would be greatly improved if the shrubs around the pool were trimmed down a bit so you could see the pool and beyond to the beautiful beach!
