The home has a marvelous ocean view and is immaculate. The TVs are large and the furniture is very comfortable. Most importantly, the owner, Greg, is very accommodating and helpful. Our rental car battery died and he was kind enough to wait for the tow so we could make it to our luau. He was also gracious enough to return a clip my granddaughter left there. One of the best travel experiences - ever!

Dealing with the host, Gregory, was efficient and pleasant. He is very gracious and his rental is well furnished and stocked generously with nice amenities. The views of Lanikai from the balconies are gorgeous, especially at sunrise. My family will certainly return to Gregory's house.

This house is in a great location. Just a few minutes walk to watch a beautiful sunrise and a few more minutes to enjoy a day at the beach. The house has everything you could possibly need for beach and cooking.

The living space and kitchen were wonderful with a gorgeous view. Th deck was large with awesome ocean views. The beach was very accessible. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful home with an upstairs living area (which allows beautiful views of the Mokulua islands out the windows and from the deck), and bedrooms downstairs. We travelled with 3 toddlers and this worked out great with lots of gear provided. Comprehensive set of beach gear also provided and the sandy part of Lanikai beach was an easy 0.7mile walk with even a wagon provided for the kids! Gregory was a wonderful detail oriented host and we were never left hanging on any issue. The deck was an amazing space for the adults to gather, cool off in the plunge pool, and take in the view (toddlers will need close supervision). As a guest you won't have control of the air conditioning system but Gregory responds instantly by text when a change is needed.

Excellent property in an amazing location with a pool, spacious living room, great views of the water, and comfortable kitchen/furniture/laundry amenities. Our host was extremely accommodating and easy to contact at any time throughout our stay. We had a great time staying here for our vacation for our small family.

The property was wonderful, and clean. It offered everything we needed to relax, and has a breathtaking view of the ocean. The owner is easy to get ahold of and made the check in and check out process seamless. Highly recommend and will stay here again should we come back.

The property and Host were excellent. We were very pleased with all of the accommodations, and contact with the Host. Gregory was always available for any questions and responded quickly. We enjoyed celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 1/2 year old grandson. We walked about 15 minutes to the beach, Gregory had all beach equipment including a wagon and stroller, beach chairs, umbrellas and all the play toys for adults and children. We would stay at this location again and would highly reccommnend this location for complete enjoyment.

The property was very spacious and accommodated our family of 5 very well. The view from the top floor is absolutely amazing at all times. The kitchen is very well stocked and made cooking very easy - while enjoying the wonderful Lanikai view! We appreciated the many beach and bath towels that come with the house as well as snorkeling equipment available in the garage. The house is in a really fantastic location, with various beach accessess within walking distance. We certainly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful quiet neighborhood!

Great views in Lanikai
The view from the top floor is lovely, and there is a little beach access within a few- minutes walk from the house. This property worked well for our family who wanted to revisit the Windward side of the island where parents used to live. We appreciated all the beach equipment available to us. The kitchen was very well equipped. And the linens and towels were well-stocked.
Expect lots of stairs.
A hose was provided to wash off sandy feet. There was also an outdoor shower at the side of the garage. Gregory wasn't sure how well it worked, but we thought it was fine. An improvement to it would be to provide some sort of screen, for when the only way to get the sand out of your shorts is to remove them. We held towels.
Turns out there is no cell service in Lanikai. At Gregory's instruction, we routed calls through the WIFI in the house, but we had varying results with different phones among family members. That given, Gregory did a good job of keeping in touch with us.

Rigid rules and expectations
The property was absolutely beautiful and can accommodate 6 people comfortably. The property owner screens you before he accepts your reservation and I thought I could meet all rules but unfortunately it was very stressful to keep worrying that I would do something wrong that it took some of my pleasure away from my final week in Oahu. If you are even a couple of minutes past check out and are rushing to get out as close to 10am as possible be prepared for 4 or 5 phone calls rushing you out. With small children or teenagers it may be difficult to get out exactly at 10. He was concerned with having his cleaners wait and paying them extra but the cleaners did not arrive until 10:10. So for me the anxiety the rules caused me outweighed my pleasure and I would choose different accommodations on my next trip to Oahu.

Best Beach House
Our stay at this home was absolutely perfect! The communication with Gregory was wonderful from the start. The house is as described and in the pictures. The house provided everything that you could possibly want or need during a stay, and the AC was a huge plus! The set up of the home worked out so well for our group of six, with allowing us to be in the same home, but also not feeling like we were on top of each other. The location could not be more perfect as it is just a quick walk to the beautiful beach. We throughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to stay again soon!
P.S. The view from the house is INCREDIBLE

Fantastic location, great host
We had a terrific time at this beautiful location! The house was neat, with all the amenities, and spacious enough for our extended family group. The views from the top floor were gorgeous. The location was great, with a 5 minute walk to the first little beach access, and a 15 minute walk to the beautiful Lanikai beach. Gregory was terrific - friendly, organized, and communicative. The snorkeling and beach supplies in the garage were a great bonus. We absolutely loved this property, it was the perfect home base for a fantastic family vacation. Highly recommended!

No ka oi (the Best)
The rental, checkin, and checkout were all extremely efficient and open. Following the VRBO rental, Gregory’s communications were well detailed and helpful, allowing our group to plan activities in advance. Because the location was so close to the beach, we could walk over and snorkel as the changing weather permitted. Gregory also provided excellent recommendations for local hiking and dining. Checkout was a breeze.
Overall we had one of our best vacations ever, and I strongly recommend this house and host. I will look forward to visiting again.

Stunning venue
Everything is top shelf here. This includes the washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, garbage disposal, and enormous 90 plus inch TV in the family room. The views of the ocean and mountains from upstairs and outdoor decks are memorable and breathtaking. The furnishings are very nice, and the decorative touches are complementary accents.
We found Gregory to be a helpful, kind, informative, and gracious host.
This is perhaps the best VRBO venue in Lanikai. Anytime we need a 3 bedroom venue on Oahu, we would love to return.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for allowing us to stay at your beautiful house. My family and I made great memories there and we appreciate everything you have done for us during our stay! Communication was on point, the house was spotlessly clean, the kitchen fully stocked with with pots, pans, essentials along with childrens' plates/cups, beautiful decor, tons of extra blankets/pillows, towels, boogieboards, sand toys, a beach wagon to hold everything (just a short stroll to the beach), coolers, reef shoes in various sizes. The upstairs entertainment living room area had a very large tv with an endless selection of channels/movies, board games, comfortable sofas with a wrap around lanai and small pool. We loved waking up in the morning and walking out to the lanai for coffee while watching the gorgeous sunrise over the Lanikai ocean, framed by the luscious greenery and palm trees. The kitchen was amazing as I was able to cook meals for my 4yo and 7yo here and there during our stay. We would eat out most of the time because the house is within minutes of our favorite spots: Cinnamons, Mokes, Hibachi, Kalapawai, Easy 'Que, Over Easy, Uahi Grill, Kimchees just to name a few. The washer/dryer inside the house was key, as we travel very light so we were able to get in several washes to have clean clothes for ourselves and our keikis. The interior decor has beautiful and embodied the Hawaiian island vibe with the wood accents, island themed art and all the touches around the house - you could tell there was a lot of TLC into the design. Gregory has been so thorough from beginning to end. We knew exactly what to do from check-in to check-out with his well prepared property rental info. We appreciate the time and effort you have put into all details for your guests to enjoy. It made a huge difference and we are so grateful for you! Mahalos for being a big part of making this one of the most memorable trips for our ohana!

Perfect Vacation Home
This home is nearly perfect. Great location, comfortable beds, well-equipped with everything you could possibly need and AMAZING views. The owner is always in good communication, the beach is literally around the block, you have everything you need to enjoy the beach in the garage (complete with a beach wagon to haul things) and there is plenty of space for a family of eight (maybe more!). We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go back to enjoy this home again. Thank you Gregory for a terrific stay and a wonderful place for us to make many new family memories!

Island getaway
We had a good time at this spacious getaway. the accommodations were perfect for our two sons and we had our own space too. My only issue was the neighbor dog who barked every morning before 7:00. One of the best parts was the equipment that was there and the short walk to the beach.

Would stay here again
We had a great week at this rental! The owner was very communicative, and it was really nice to have access to beach gear. The kitchen had everything we needed. Water access is close, beach access is a decent walk but very doable. The views are nice, with a ton of windows on the top level to take it in. Personally, I would have been happy to pay a little extra to have some control over the HVAC, nights were a bit stuffy for me, coming from a cold, dry climate. The neighbor’s dog barked a lot, but that’s certainly no fault of anyone’s, other than the neighbor. But keep in mind you are in a residential neighborhood, we’ve got dogs that bark at home too. I just like to leave reviews that paint a realistic picture of what to expect. I still give the rental 5 stars overall, as the value is there, in spades. No other house in Lanikai could even be considered at this price, that offers the location, views, and space/bedrooms. I would definitely recommend it, and I would stay there again, without hesitation.

Great house
Really enjoyed our stay. House was comfortable, lived in, not fancy but well appointed.. kitchen was amazing and super well stocked.. Loved the layout of the home.. neighborhood was lovely,, convenient and accessible.
My only complaint is this: of the two lovely outdoor spaces - a wonderful covered front porch and a lovely deck with a little built in pool - there were exactly four sling dining chairs around a dining table that seats six, in a house that is advertised for eight guests. Nothing to sit on on the porch, nothing to lounge or lay out on on the deck. As baffling as it was frustrating. Fix that, and the place is near perfect.

Great spot in Lanikai!
Gregory's spot exceeded our expectations. It was clean and well-stocked including but not limited to beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, etc. Yes, it is a 15-17 minute walk to Lanikai Beach, but the little wagon made that super easy (not to mention it is a mellow walk through a beautiful neighborhood), plus, there are several closer locations to get to the ocean if you just want to take a quick dip or watch the sunrise. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back the next time we come to Kailua.

Cool House in a Beautiful Area
As previous reviews have mentioned (and the instructions specify) the property owner is very involved. It's a good thing. The property was meticulously clean, perfectly stocked in a neat location. It is much larger than you would expect of a three-bedroom and has lots of architectural detail. The kitchen, living area, and flooring have been beautifully renovated with high-end appliances (and a french press, coffee grinder, etc) and has a huge TV. Quite the bargain at this price point and highly recommended.

Best vacation in a long time
We really didn't know what to expect. The property was excellent. The location was excellent. We were there for our daughter's graduation from UH, but we didn't want to partake in the tourist action on the other side of the island. This location was perfect. Proximity to beaches, the view, the accommodations. Excellent host. We didn't have to worry about beach chairs, towels, snorkel rentals, boogie boards. If I could pack up right now and go again, I would in a heart beat. If you're on the fence, I say take the plunge, you won't be disappointed. We certainly weren't - and I was spending a week with my in-laws.

Fantastic house, great for families
We had a wonderful time staying in this home, and found it really comfortable for six people with the three real bedrooms and two bathrooms on the bedroom level. Wonderful views, lots of space, and many helpful amenities around the house. We particularly found the collection of kid activities (e.g., sand buckets and shovels, drawing pad and crayons, board games) really helpful!

Nice but not what was expected
The location and beaches were wonderful. House was big enough to accommodate our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids). But...photos are outdated and not what you get when you walk in. You also have no control of the air conditioning which made part of the stay uncomfortable (i.e. trying to get ready for dinner after showering off a day at the beach or every night when the AC would shut off until 6am). The TV in the master bedroom never worked, could only log into personal streaming services. The ceiling fan in one bedroom was so loose we thought it was going to fall off onto one of our kids while sleeping. Location was in very quiet neighborhood which was nice. Lots of beach toys, wagon, umbrellas, etc which made the beach days very enjoyable.

Wonderful home close to Lanikai beach!
We fell in love with this location and this home! It’s in a quiet safe area and so close to the famous LaniKai beach. The home is filled with everything you could possibly need for your vacation. We especially loved all of the beach gear…beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, umbrella‘s, coolers, and best of all a wagon to haul it all in. It made our beach days so much more comfortable and convenient! The house has a lot of nice updates. It’s open and airy, and has such a beautiful view! Gregory was so kind and welcoming! I love that it’s managed by him and not some big company. It’s clear he wants his guest to have a wonderful time. Thank you so much we enjoyed our stay and hope to stay with you again!

Wonderful!
This property worked perfectly for our family of four (2 teenagers). Gregory was great to work with and was always easy to communicate with. The location was great - short walk to the beach in a safe/ beautiful neighborhood. The home was just as described, beautiful views and was well stocked with everything we needed.
