Great place for family vacation! Very peaceful, very clean and had everything we needed. I liked how switches were labeled and signs around the property was clear and visible so we knew what we could and could not do We liked that it was a gated property. We enjoed the lighted pier, fishing, ping pong, and horseshoes. We made some great memories. Only complaint was the many ants in the yard and the many spiders on the pier.

We loved how peaceful and relaxing this property was, it was very clean and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The owners live on site and they are very friendly and helpful.

Great place for a quiet family vacation. We had an infant, 2 toddlers and three teens along with 3 adults. This had plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed fishing on the pier and a fire with smores at night. The house is stocked with everything you need. Even toddler dishware. We would/will stay here again.

We had a great time! Already planning our next trip. We were able to beach our boat right by the house. The pier was great-we caught several bass and several small catfish. On the lake we caught around 15 catfish. The water was perfect for swimming and the porch was great for sitting and enjoying the view. The hostess were very nice and helpful. Only downfall was not being able to watch Netflix on tablets and there being one tv. The kiddos weren’t thrilled watching basketball playoffs during down time. So I’d suggest downloading shows

This private gated property, boat ramp, and lighted pier is a wonderful place for a family vacation. Great accommodations inside and out. Beautiful view of the lake from deck and only feet from dock and pier. Owners live onsite and can be seen taking an evening stroll on the pier enjoying conversation with guests.

We checked in on Friday, door was unlocked with keys inside. Lots of seating, dishes and more. Went fishing, boat riding, and a nice pier to fish on. Just wish lake would have been full. All in all we had a great time and was very relaxing. Would highly recommend.

Great spot to get together with an old group of friends, hangout, grill some food, play horseshoes and relax by the lake. Nothing fancy and had everything we needed. Owners were very good with communication as well.

The house is clean and just as described. The fire pit was great for the cool October nights. The pier was great and not crowded. I don't know how it will be in the summer, but there are lots and lots of stickers in the grass. You cannot go barefoot and even flip flops can be dangerous. The sunset was amazing! Overall, everything was good.

This property was very clean, and well equipped. The rooms were very comfortable. It had everything we needed.

We had a great time celebrating my fiancé’s 30th birthday with six other friends. This is a great location if you plan to go on a hike at either Inks Lake (ten minutes drive) or Colorado Bend state park (About an hour drive). It’s the perfect place to wind down and enjoy peace and quiet on the lake front. The dock, outdoor area, patio and inside the shore house was all relaxing and inviting. There are countless options for water activities. Our hosts were incredibly responsive if we had questions and gave us plenty of privacy. The inside of the house was larger than we expected, and plenty of room for sleeping arrangements, activities, and kitchen space for a large dinner. Would absolutely stay again!

It was very good our experience here is our first time we had a lot of fun and the owners were very nice. the house was excellent and close to the lake.

We had to change our travel plans due to COVID and decided to vacation where we can isolate but still get away. This was perfect and we will come back, and when this is all over, we will bring friends. There is PLENTY of room in the house. It's even more spacious than it looks. The property has neighbors but it was easy to maintain physical distance - there is plenty of space in the yards and on the pier. The mornings are lovely and quiet and filled with birdsong from the many birds roosting in the purple Martin houses on the property. We didn't need our bug spray thanks to the birds! The hosts were very friendly and available without being intrusive. The kids had a blast fishing, kayaking, digging in the sand, playing ping pong, and playing horseshoes. The water is shallow for a long way out so it was great for our kids - one a strong swimmer and one still learning. Note that there is satellite TV and a DVD player but no streaming videos on the limited WiFi (which actually helped us limit screen time). Highly recommend for quiet family vacation.

The house had everything we needed. The home is a little dated but good for a weekend visit to a lake house. Beds are older and not very comfortable. The lake access, boat dock and pier were nice. The property owners were helpful, polite and easy to work with. The water access had a shallow slope which was good for the kids. Would recommend to others.
