The living, the view, the location

The bathroom from the ground floor was very small

The view from the property overlooking the sea was lovely. The patio and 3 other outdoor areas. Sunbeds and beach umbrellas provided. Plenty of towels provided. Large comfortable bed.

Communication from the host was poor, we weren't provided with any information on how to collect the keys and there is no information provided about the property or surrounding area/facilities. Nothing provided for the first morning eg coffee (bottled water was provided). The property is far more isolated and difficult to access than the information suggests, 3 km from the nearest main road down what eventually is just a rutted potholed track. There's almost nowhere you can walk to and the given distances to the nearest beach and restaurant were inaccurate. As other reviewers have commented, there was no toaster or microwave which would be useful.

Very well equiped house, everything looks brand new and beautiful views in the surrounding. Communication sith Spyros was also flawless

We spent such a great time in the lovely Magdalena Villa! Everything was great. The villa is absolutely incredible. The position is right in front of the sea, with a magnificent view! You cannot imagine a more fantastic view from all of the 4 balconies or even from your bed, feeling like surrounded by the sea. The location is also very quiet. For sure, you’ll have the best sleep and reconnection with yourself and with the nature. The villa is very practical and nice decorated! It looks as if no detail was ignored, everything is chosen and placed with a refined taste and with a sense of beauty, of perfect geometry. And it is also well equipped with everything you might need. And, by the way, for those being a little bit reticent about the last part of the road to the villa (just a couple of hundred meters) where the road has no asphalt, we would like to let you know that the road is a good one, very easy for any car and any driver. (We left the villa every day and we barely noticed this part of the road) Thank you all – Spyros and your kind and nice family – for having the chance to meet you! And for spending such a great time in your villa. It was, by far, the most beautiful place we have ever spent our holiday! We definitely recommend this place and will be back again.

The view is amazing, location is quiet and close to nice beaches, the host is friendly.

There is no cleaning included, which I don’t think is acceptable. The BBQ is next to the neighbouring house and we did not feel comfortable going there and using it, quite misleading.

A piece of heaven. Full comfort. And full privacy. Excellent location. Only the nature around you. In the night and during the day you can hear only the insects and cocks crow and sheep's bell and bark of the dogs. Accomodation was excellent , decorated with brilliant taste, there is nothing you would need extra, the host thought of your every need. Big terrace with gentle breeze and astonishing view will chill you up even on the hottest mornings. Windows with mosquito nets, 3 balconies ( i think ) , when you keep them open , you dont need to turn air condition on. We didnt use air condition at all. And the part of the set is mr Spyros' father , who is a real busy bee, you can see him in the morning doing his gardening and household chores. we enjoyed his company and his interesting stories about greece & kefalonia. we were offered wih fruits from his garden. He is one big sweetheart. And few more practical things : There are two beaches in front of the house - one on the left and one on the right. and the best kefalonian beaches are on the west of the island, thatt is why we found this house the best for our stay. And you can keep your parked car in the shadow. And one big super market is near - on the main road, 5 minutes by car, but Lixuori is quite near , we shopped in Lixuori. We thoroughly enjoyed our staying!!! And we are very grateful for the hospitality.
