Friendly owner & as requested ground floor room.Comfortable bed
Bed a little high off the ground - I am just over 5ft tall; hangers for clothes just about reachable, plug socket for kettle loose , also bathroom mirror& tiny sink.
Just about managed to reach the shower head to detach it it's holder.
Only one towel - a big bath sheet nothing to dry hands or face on so used it.
No mirror in room so using hairdryer(which I had to ask for) very hit & miss
No breakfast & shower head difficult to adjust - not very powerful

I loved its simplicity especially as I'm a no thrills kind of traveller.
There was nothing to dislike.

The room was clean and comfortable with a good view of the road. It was great that guests had access to an eating area with a microwave.
The access was difficult due to the narrow stairs and heavy fire doors.

Amazing hosts, extremely comfortable bed, great facilities and not much of a walk from Cardiff Central. Will definitely be staying there again. Would recommend to anyone to stay in the parklane guest house!

The cleanliness was spot on, bins changed and communal bathroom kept spotless. Lovely owners willing to help you with anything you ask, very friendly and approachable.

Easy to find and check in. Room was simple, but with coffee facilities and a comfy bed.
Just be aware there is no lift, but we didn’t need it.

I liked the price and booked it 30 mins before arriving, was welcomed professionally and handed keys to my room and the front door, everything in the room was spot on, had everything I needed
At night I could hear the cars going past, so it was difficult to fall asleep, other than that everything was fine

Amazing service - booked another stay straight away! Felt safe and welcomed and it was a great location for town and nearby hospitals.

David and zoe made me welcome 🙏 my room was very clean with teas and coffees at the ready a small t.v the room 10 was not ensuit but it had a wash basin in the shower was in the hallway. was ok but not a power shower. they have a kitchen that you can use for your own provisions.
The walls are a bit thin you can hear people in the next room moving around.
