We enjoyed our stay at the 2 bedroom ranch immensely! The ranch house was cozy and spotless with all the amenities we needed. Comfy beds, chairs and couch - our teen adored her own room with bunk bed. Used the washer and dryer and dishwasher- made it all so convenient. West Dennis is the perfect place to stay on the Cape - easy to get to everything. Joe was very responsive and gave superb recommendations for dining and activities. South Village Beach was a few minutes walk - wonderful little beach. Our teen even swam in the 61 degree ocean! Beach chairs, toys and towels included. Also fantastic to be able to have an extra parking spot to host family for the day. Loved the outside shower. Candle pin bowling, miniature golf, Cape Cod Baseball League, Whydah Pirate Museum, and Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch out of Provincetown (saw fin whales and pod of 9 humpbacks - lots of tails and 4 breaches!). Plenty to do rain or shine. Best Steamers, Lobster Rolls, and Clam Chowder - Sesuit Harbor Cafe. We had such a wonderful stay and enjoyed kicking back and relaxing at our home away from home. Everything as advertised- but so much more! We look forward to returning to this well-loved vacation home. Thanks Joe and Colleen.

This property is perfect for families looking to have a great Cape Cod vacation. The location cannot be beat! The property is very close to the beach which is especially convenient if you have small children. The owners provide linens, towels, and some basic everyday items that you might need during your stay. For example, our daughter needed a triple A battery and there was a pack right in the drawer! It saved us a trip to the store and we did not need to buy a whole pack. It was so helpful. There is a washer and dryer and an outdoor shower- all of which make things so much easier. This is our second time staying here and we would not stay anywhere else. We hope to be back next summer!!

It's telling that we came back a second year in a row and again what a great fit for our family. Not a big spot but perfect for two adults and two boys ages 8 and 5, so close to the beach and this year the owner updated the beach chairs as well. Best part about this area by the swan River is the lazy River and the swan River Creek where the boys are obsessed with catching Little critters and just a few feet away is the open Beach. Long as our family still fits in the place comfortably, we will be renting again!

We loved our vacation home for the week. The short walk to the beach everyday was perfect with having two little kids. The owners were responsive when needed and we will definitely be back!

The house is clean and compact and had everything we needed and the floor plan gave us plenty of space. The ceiling fans worked well even though it was a warmer -than-usual week. The kitchen was well-equipped and functional. It was a short walk to the beach which was very convenient and allowed us easily to make several trips a day. We enjoyed walking around the pleasant neighborhood. The houses are close together but it was very quiet and it was easy to sleep We would love to come back another year.

This would be our 7th year staying in the neighborhood. My two boys won’t go anywhere else. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. With the windows open there was no need for air conditioning. Having a washer and dryer was an added plus. The keyless door entry helped so much. My teenage boys were out and about all day. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is in an excellent location. We loved being able to walk to the beach in just a few short minutes. We would walk to the beach a couple times a day sometimes. The cottage itself was very clean and updated. Amenities such as a dishwasher and washer/dryer made our vacation even more enjoyable. Not having to bring all our own linens and towels was also a big plus. We will definitely be back!

Beach is walking distance, place was very nice. Joseph was very responsive when we asked questions. Probably won't stay there again, just because you can hear the family next door easily. I was on vacation and don't like being woken up by other people's kids. But that is just a preference thing. The place was clean and comfortable. Thanks for helping make our vacation a success.!

What an amazing location, legit walking distance to the beach maybe a one and a half minute walk tops, we brought our bikes down and we're able to go back and forth from the beach to the house with ease, as well as making a couple trips to drop coolers and chairs off. Owner was very communicative and very nice, the only thing I would say is maybe some portable AC units for the windows would be my only advice and the Wi-Fi is a little spotty, but we shouldn't be working on vacation anyways, lol! We will definitely consider renting this home again next year and in the coming years

Very charming cottage on a very charming street just a few houses from the beach. Close enough to walk back and forth from the beach without having to lug things back. Our family was able to go back and forth for either full beach days, or just to enjoy the beach after grilling for dinner. One night we got sandwiches from Bandera's in Dennis Port and had dinner on the beach during sunset. No A/C, but don’t let that dissuade you. The layout and airflow is great from the beach breeze. You can sleep with the sliding door open and hear the surf. The kitchen has been updated and has a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender cookware and everything you need to serve and enjoy a meal indoors or out. Location couldn’t be better mid-Cape and a short drive to any Cape Cod destination. The local area has it all if you’re not up for travel. We enjoyed ice cream at Sundae School in West Dennis, Bud's Go-Karts in Harwich, strolling through Chatham, great raw bar and wings at Perk's in Harwich Port, and rented bikes for a trip along the Shining Sea Bikeway in Falmouth. We would highly recommend the Yankee II fishing excursion out of Harwich Port. We caught enough fish to have a full dinner back on the cottage patio grill with a side burner! Our boys took a morning surfing lesson in Wellfleet at the Cape Cod National Sea Shore, and after we explored Provincetown. We had two great dinners out that we would recommend, Brax Landing for an amazing view of Harwich Port, and Cape Sea Grille for fabulous… everything. This was our family's first trip to Cape Cod, and we can't wait to return. Thank you, Joe and Colleen

Thus far the best rental cottage we have gotten in all the years coming to Dennis! Owners- amazing, accommodating, generous! Place- super cute, clean, perfect location! All around 5 out of 5 stars!! Highly recommended for family with kids !

For two people this cottage was perfectly adequate. The knotty pine interior gave a warm feeling to the environment. The kitchen and bath areas were upgraded. Ceiling fans ensured that we never felt uncomfortable, despite the hot/humid weather outdoors. Having a washer/dryer was a plus. The beach was a short walk away and the neighborhood, in general, was quiet and pleasant all week. I would gladly recommend for a party of two or a couple with 1-2 children.

Great place and great location.

We had a wonderful stay at Joe and Colleen's property. The photos don't do it justice. It's in a perfect location within a 2 minute walk from gorgeous South Village Beach with the added bonus of the River beach. We could even hear the waves crashing in the morning with the bedroom/deck doors open. The property is very clean and very well taken care of and offers absolutely everything that one could possibly need during the stay. Those little things made it perfect and showed that the owners truly care about their guests. Joe was always available through phone of email and gave many great suggestions about restaurants and things to do in the area. Highly recommended and we hope that we can come and stay again in the future!

Modern updates and very responsive

After an issue with another VRBO listing doubling booking our reservation, we were delighted to be able to book this lovely beach house in Dennis with 1 days notice. Joe was very responsive, the property looked better in person than in the photos - high ceilings and airy. It was immaculately clean and in a excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. My toddler loved her bunk beds and we enjoyed the back yard, grill and outdoor shower. Highly recommended.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with this getaway. The rental was clean and well stocked with all you need. The beach is beautiful with the Swan river running into the ocean. Such a fun spot. My granddaughters had the best time!! Thank Joe and Colleen for affording me the opportunity to rent this charming place.

I rented the 2 bedroom ranch for 2 weeks with my husband and almost 3 year old daughter. The ranch actually looks way more beautiful in person than in the pictures. It has high ceilings with ceiling fans that make it feel spacious. I ended up inviting my parents to visit for a night because it was more spacious than I expected. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The home was equipped with everything we needed. It has a very nice washer and dryer and a nice kitchen area with dish washer. The oven broke when we were there and Joe had it replaced within days. So, it now has a brand new oven. The deck area is lovely with an outdoor shower, barbecue, and picnic table. The location is great.. just a short walk to a beautiful beach and river. The area is very family friendly. There were 5 beach chairs available for our use. We brought our own wagon and the walk was super easy. Our daughter also loved taking evening beach walks to watch the sunset. We were able to take daily drives to all other parts of the cape. It is also a short drive to many restaurants, ice cream shops, stores, and mini golf. We did not to do too many activities due to COVID-19, but it was a great place to relax. Thank you Joe and Colleen! We hope to come back again!

We had last minute change of plans and were lucky enough to find this gem! Joe and Colleen were super responsive owners and were in contact with us throughout our stay, sending lists of things to do, restaurant recommendations, etc! The home is about a 3 minute walk to the beach. It was great to just take a stroll down to the ocean before getting going out for the day or run down to set up chairs to claim our spot! The home is nicely appointed. Linens were provided which was a huge plus to not have to pack all of those. House was clean. Kitchen was a bit small (just the one wall) so no storage for groceries, but we managed fine. We mostly got takeout, but cooked in a few nights and it was totally great. Back deck is small but functional. Beach chairs are provided too. Note: outdoor shower is shared with the other renters, so be aware of that. Not really a space to take a morning shower, but great for rinsing off. Indoor bathroom was fine. Also, the layout of the house was great for us...kids bedroom at the front of the house, master in the back, separated by the dining and living area. Great with teenage kids! Overall perfect spot for our family of 4. Thanks, Joe and Colleen! We will be back!

The location was ideal - just a quick walk to the beach. The house was extremely comfortable and very, very clean. The owners provided us with everything we needed for our vacation - linens, towels, beach chairs, loaded with kitchen items for cooking/serving and even basic condiments in the refrigerator! Having the outdoor sitting area out back was ideal along with the grill and outdoor shower. Thank you for providing such a beautiful home for us to enjoy during vacation!

This cottage is completely updated with newly renovated kitchen and bath. All the amenities including flatscreen tv, WIFI, washer & dryer, dishwasher, sheets, towels, etc. nice deck and the key feature is walking distance to both ocean and river beaches! One of the best spots on the Cape! Joe was extremely accommodating and made sure we had all that we needed and were comfortable. Looking forward to returning summer ‘20!!

My favorite beach! Easy walk even with a wagon full of beach stuff. Teens could stay behind if they wanted and I felt comfortable doing so. This house is great, my teens and I enjoyed our stay!

This year was our second stay here. We absolutely love the location. You can even use the beach and head home for the bathroom, it is so close. The house itself was extremely clean upon checkin and included all amenities we needed to cook at home and head to the beach. The linens are of great quality and we love having the washer and dryer. The new kitchen is beautiful and now, with a dishwasher, our stay even more relaxing. Joe was super attentive to our emails and questions and a pleasure to chat with on the back deck. This is a perfect spot for our small family. We highly recommend it and will be back next summer!

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful property close enough to the ocean to hear the waves. Everything was very clean and it was nice to not have to bring linens. The beach is very close and we loved the cut through to the other side where the river comes in and you can ride the current. It was very quiet on that side which is perfect for younger children and close enough to go home for lunch or nap. The outdoor shower was great as was the outdoor space for kids to run around. A great vacation - we'll be back!

The cottage was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 children ages 13 and 11). It is located close to the ocean beach. We also were able to drive to Mayflower Beach twice during our week long stay (about 20 minutes away). The cottage had everything we needed (washer/dryer, dishwasher, bedding/sheets/even beach towels, beach chairs and sand toys). Since Dennis Port is in the middle of the Cape, driving to other places was easy (an hour or less). We were nervous about "sharing" a house (another rental is located within the same building) but we NEVER saw or heard the renters next door. It was very quiet and peaceful. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

We are a family of 4 with two small children. This was a perfect spot! So close to the beach we could walk back and forth for naps and lunch. We stayed in the smaller side of the rental it had everything you could think of even beach toys! Joe was lovely he even emailed a list of things to do on the cape on rainy summer days. The week we had did rain some but we had a blast. We would definitely rent this home again.
