We can't say enough about Diane and Brian's hospitality, location of property, great home and location to beaches and Newport. We appreciated all the welcoming information and personal touches. The two patios had spectacular sunsets. It was perfect for our family and friend reunion. We hope to return.

Everything is even better than it looks in the listing!
There are awesome sky views from both decks. You can see lots of the ocean from the house, and especially from the top deck.
The sun room is a wonderful place to sit and we spent a lot of time there. It's a great spot for everyone to hang out and enjoy each others company.
The yard is a nice size and they even have yard games in the shed.
Ww grilled one evening and enjoyed to sunset views.
The bedrooms are a nice size and beds are comfortable.
The proximity to the beach is key. Driving is 4 minutes, and walking is 10 minutes. Diane and Brian even gave us beach chairs and beach towels!,
Its just 15 minutes drive to all the restaurants, bars and cruises.
The hosts are very welcoming, warm and full of excellent tips about Newport.
We're so glad we found this place! We have very fond memories of our family vacation 💯

Great stay at Seas the Day
Great house. Great location. Great hosts. We have been to Newport several times before, this was our favorite place to stay by far. Easy walk to Easton Beach. Great view from roof dec. Clean and comfortable. Can't say enough good things.

Great stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Brian and Diane’s home! We traveled with toddlers and infants and the home was the perfect fit for a family. The lower deck was a big hit for the kids and at night we all went to the upper deck for amazing views. The house was clean and Brian and Diane showed us fun activities in the area as well as the beautiful beaches minutes away. We recommend this home for any visitors wanting to get the best out of Newport.

Great Scenery, Lots of Charm
My wife and two daughters stayed for a week and it was well worth it. While the house is a little out-dated, it actually adds to the charm. We were a little nervous about staying in a home during the pandemic, but the owners took measures to make us feel safe; There was a welcome kit with cleaning supplies and they provided brand new pillows for us to take with us upon departure. The house itself is situated in a great neighborhood and the views (throughout the day) from the upper porch really make the visit feel like a true ocean escape.

Fantastic Family Vacation
Diane and Brian greeted us when we arrived and showed us all of the details of the property including age appropriate toys and games they had taken out in advance. They also had suggestions for fun things to do in the area such as crabbing. The house is very well laid out with plenty of space for a large family. Beach theme throughout the house really got us in the vacation mindset. Coffee and happy hour on the roof deck with beautiful views of the ocean and mansions made for a great start and end to every day. Would recommend - will stay again!

A gem of a house in a beautiful town
This house was so cute and perfect for our family . The bedrooms were so comfy and the deck outside omg the views that they have are astounding ! The host was really good and so hospitable ! Thank you for making our stay so good and easy ! I highly recommend staying here and it’s right near the beach you can just walk down and it’s so close to town and the Uber there is so cheap . All in all our stay was perfect :)

Amazing home and fantastic owners!
This home is truly unbelievable! There was plenty of room to roam both in and outdoors. The roof deck was our favorite feature- and if it weren't for tropical storm hermine we would have spent every hour up there :) This home is conveniently located, spacious, clean, comfortable, homey, and could not be more perfect! Diane and Brian are two of the nicest people and really went out of their way to make sure our stay was accommodated. You can tell how much they love this home and how they truly want the visitors they have to enjoy it just as much as they do. We cannot wait to come back!

Perfect spot for family vacation
Just back from a wonderful week at this beautiful home. Pack light because everything you need for a fun week at the beach is here already. Hosts were very welcoming and showed us the property on our arrival. Enjoyed dinner on the deck several nights and loved the sunsets. We have been renting for several years in Middletown and this was a fantastic home. We hope to be back!

Location! Location! Location!
Having once called the Newport area home, my family loved the fact that this house is so close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, shops, and more! We rented this house in August 2015 and took advantage of the spectacular sunsets off the second deck, the large porch, and the availability of air-conditioning during a few warm nights. Our visiting grandchildren liked the size of the backyard and the closeness of the beach. The owners, Diane and Brian were gracious hosts and provided us clean, convenient, and comfortable accommodations. We loved our stay and plan to return!

Great vacation home for a family
My family (3 children between 8 - 13) rented this house over the fourth of July 2015 holiday week and had a wonderful time. Brian and Diane met us on the first day and showed us around the house and made us feel very welcome. The house is very bright and clean. We especially loved the back room with three wall of windows and a sliding door! The back deck and upper deck were perfect for post-beach cocktails with large views off the top deck of the Atlantic Ocean. The neighborhood is very quiet and was perfect for biking and jogging....plus just a short walk or drive to First or Second Beach. Loved the outdoor shower, the large backyard and the AC (for a few humid nights). Lobster rolls on O'Brien's patio in Newport were fantastic. Breakfast at the Atlantic Grille ended the week for us and it was perfect.

WONDERFUL FAMILY VACATION SPOT!
We have rented this beautiful year round home from Brian and Diane for 5 years. It easily & comfortably accomodates our large extended family! From the fully equipped kitchen to the large full baths and spacious bedrooms. Oh, and the finished basement was a comfortable space for my daughter, husband and 2 boys to sleep and a washer and dryer too! But our favorite place to be was on one of the two X-tra large decks!! Whether it was morning coffee, barbeque dinner or sunset cocktails with friends, it was absolutely the best place to hang out and enjoy all the water views around us. And a nice view of the famous Cliff Walk! One of the best locations on the island due to the fact you can walk to beaches, restaurants and fun activities for the kids on Easton Beach. The owners were very helpful in familiarizing us with the "hot spots". And Newport Harbor/Thames street is only a mile or 2 away!! We would highly recommend this property. This is the perfect property for a couples reunion
This property was perfect for a reunion of 4 couples for a long weekend. Bringing everyone together in a quintessential New England town and residing in this accommodating home with a perfect location to everything helped make the reunion so enjoyable, comfortable, and fun. The description of the layout and location are accurate. There are two gathering areas (or living rooms )and then the main deck and the upper deck with fabulous views. The home was clean, stocked, and well-maintained. It had three bathrooms which served us all well. One of the bathrooms is downstairs in a refinished basement that could sleep up to four comfortably - and worked perfectly for one of the couples with their 9 year old daughter. We dined -in and dined out and moved about the area easily. The owner gave us the name of a tour guide whom we hired for half a day. We all fit into a medium sized van and had a tour of Newport, ending with a lunch in a fun restaurant downtown in the afternoon. I would highly recommend this property to friends and family. The home is in an ideal location and Newport is a very special place for a vacation.

A truly perfect vacation
Brian and Diane's property is absolutely delightful as is their warm welcome and tour of all the amenities the house and the area has to offer. The home was more than roomy enough for our extended family. With two living rooms and a furnished basement, two decks and an oversized yard, we had plenty of room for everyone.
Our favorite spot was the roof deck with great views of the cliff walk and sunsets over the Newport bridge. Every thing is within walking distance. First beach with a carousel, aquarium and 2 lobster rolls for 12.95 is a five minute walk. Second beach and downtown newport are just a short drive away.
Our vacation was everything we could of wished for and we can't wait to get back this year.

The pictures don't do it justice!
Although the pictures are great they don't do the property justice. We have rented for years in the area but found this 'diamond in the rough' last year and can't wait to get here again and again. We talk about it all year long.
Having both owned rental property and experienced the other side as a tenant makes you realize how important it is to have a property owner and not a landlord. The owners of this property yearly invest in upgrades from new heating and cooling to landscaping to new window treatments. I can only imagine what they will do next.
Perfectly situated between downtown Newport and the beaches this location affords peace and quiet but is only a few minutes away from the action. It has a large deck off a beautiful sun room and it has a rooftop deck - my favorite! What a great place to start the day with a cup of coffee and end with a night cap.
This property has it all - great owners, location, 2 decks, the latest amenities/upgrades and a beautiful yard, five stars!

A wonderful Home away from home
This home is the nicest summer rental we have ever booked. We have been vacationing with our extended family for over 20 years.
Last year was our second year renting this home. We plan to rent again in August 2013. This house is beautiful, comfortable and a perfect location. Diane and Brian go above and beyond to make you feel welcome in their home. Thoughtful touches and conveniences are everywhere.
