Very good location next to the tram stop. The two main bedrooms are incredibly large each with their own living area in the bedroom. It makes it hard to rate because if you are travelling in the group and got one of the main rooms you will probably love it; but the third bedroom is obviously a kids room with twin beds on the floor and no sitting area. There is no main living area, just an enourmous dining room. To me it was all just strange, but I would probably stay there again if it suited the group. When the sun comes through the dining room windows it was very nice.

The kitchen has a sloping ceiling, so I did bash my head a few times. The only real problem we had was that it was cold. All the radiators were off on arrival and it was just freezing inside, I don't think it really heated up the whole time we were there. I think this may have been because the floors below were not being used for the holidays and possibly the whole building was just really cold. Also be aware you have to walk up a spiral staircase so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. As I got the kids bedroom I mostly sat in the little sofa in the corner of the dining room watching stuff on my ipad. The apartment is really huge, I don't understand why it is arranged the way it is - it would be pretty easy to make a living room.

The host was on time and explained all the details. Location was very good, proximity to the tram and s-bahn stations. Very close the university area and Altstadt. We walked to the christmas market. The area was clean and the apartment was cozy.

The dishwasher did not clean dishes very well. Also, the shower was a little difficult to tune, switching between hot and cold water was not working. It took a while to get hot water and then I could not switch back to cold water.
