Excellent staff...great restaurant.

A little rustic.

The campground looks amazing, the cabin was very basic… if you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. Nothing really for amenities but great for peace and quiet.

chkin and chk out was not best as it was confusing but over all place was great

again chkin and ck out location and process needs to be fixed but over ll great place , not much to do after 9 pm and it is out on its own , even town which is 15 km away shuts down by midnite on weekend

We got there and they didn't even have a pen to sign in only a crayon, we had to go back to the lounge to get nformation of the resort, wifi, hours of restaurant etc, they didn't have a booklet or nothing written. The floor in the room had not been sweeped and we had to crawl into bed because you could only get into it from one side of it. We are seniors so not very friendly for us. The food and drinks are over priced but you pay for the view I guess, also no signs to get in from the highway we went pass it twice. Also very noisy early morning (530/600) people coming and going.

it was beautiful and peaceful.

The design, layout, all the well advised walking trails, cleanliness, hot water at the main washroom facilities. The views of the water, maintenance of property, safety & friendly employees plus privacy. The duvet cover is ideal for varying temperatures, bbq is kick ass & the XL Water Cooler was perfect!

For guests who are more than 150 lbs, there needs to be a foam topper available to add on the mattresses as new as they seem, they are springy. One large pot & frying pan offers better options than 2 small/medium ones. For the price point, a large bundle of wood is a perk guests will appreciate. Not knowing about the ‘non use’ of the water was a real draw back.

The place is beautiful, lots of work has been put into it, and it looks great. The rooms are nice, tidy and well kept. Its located in the middle of no where, which is nice because it gets you away from civilization. Unfortunately there's just alot of kinks that still need to be worked out

Place is still under construction so there's limited signage and no actual place to check in at. Tried called the number to contact someone where to check in and all 3 of their lines went to the same voice mail. I had to go into the restaurant to ask where to check in, and apparently you check in at the restaurant. We ordered dinner from the restaurant, it's a pretty high end restaurant. I was served very sour and rotten coleslaw.

Dinner was excellent. Did not use for breakfast

Some trails to walk would have been good, i.e. no trail around the lake. Issue with Wasps on the deck of the restaurant

Room was nice, TV has satellite that seems to only get a few channels, thousands of sports channels and news channels. Either of which I was not interested in. Really for the price they should have a better selection of movie channels etc to view.

The bed was jammed up against the wall so one has to be an acrobat to get in and out of the bed on the wall side.

Quiet

Sadly the restaurant wasn’t open the evening we were there. Understand though.

The maintenance staff was excellent and extremely nice.

Broken amenities in cabin. Port-a-potty was full when we arrived. Broken window, it did not shut. Lost power for the last night. No response to the emergency phone number.

Food was amazing. The site has so much potential

the restaurant was very good, the room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. It is a beautiful place and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful time

It is very inconvenient that the restaurant is not open for at least a basic breakfast on Mondays and Tuesdays, and it was very hot while we were there and it would have been nice to have at least a fan in the room as it was very hot and stuffy inside because of how hot it was outside

Schott’s Lake is a gem of a place nestled in a beautiful part of Alberta. The accommodations were excellent and very clean. The staff and the owner are very accommodating and exceptionally friendly. The restaurant has a variety of choices for every palate. This was just what the Dr. ordered for a quiet, pleasant getaway. Thanks to all. We’ll be back. The Chupik’s
