Anniversary trip for me, my brother, and our wives. Amazingly clean and exceptionally large condo in Kaibo. Kitchen was well stocked. Property was idyllic with the palms, hammocks, and yacht club. Restaurant next door was convenient. Nice grill, paddle board, and 1-man kayak but probably need one more of each for two couples. Four stars for two reasons: Second bedroom was advertised as twin beds that could be converted to a queen—not true. The twin mattresses were still 4-5” apart after pushing the beds together. My brother and his wife slept on twin beds for their Cayman anniversary trip…. Master shower knob is a cypher. Needed a technician to come and explain how HOT is in the cold direction, but only half way…. Property manager was very nice but doesn’t monitor all of her messaging apps so it was three days of cold showers. Otherwise, if you want to be away from the crowds, this is the best place on Grand Cayman. Many of the tours will pick you up in Kaibo or Rum Point.

Condo was very comfortable. Clean. Great screened in balcony. Safe beach for kids (it's an inlet to a marina so don't expect a beach like 7 Mile but awesome seashell collecting), beautiful walk to Starfish Point where there's a perfect kids beach for swimming (few starfish), Rum Point (3 minute drive) is so chill with great buffet lunches and the nearby public beaches are a short drive with solitude and untamed beauty. Easy boat rides to Stingray city from Kaibo (do before the cruise ships arrive). Loved the botanical gardens with kids splash pad. You need a car to stay here. The local grocery store is modest. Kitchen is bare bones but functional. Great towels, washer/ dryer was a bonus, beautiful view. Kids LOVED the pool. Sure day trips to 7 Mile beach take a 50 minute drive but it's a beautiful drive and you'll be happy coming back to the chill vibe here. It was perfect!

Everything about this condo was perfect. It was super clean and the pictures were spot on. It is on the very quiet side of the island, perfect for some R&R!

The condo was fantastic, it had just about everything you need. Spacious, beautiful view of the pool and beach from the balcony. It was quiet and relaxing. The extras were great ( beach towels, SUP, kayak, hair dryer in master bath, etc) makes it so nice to have less to pack. We did contact management with a few questions and they were very quick to respond. I definitely would recommend this condo!

Fourteen of us spent a week here and nearby. Everyone loved our place and our view. We walked to the cafe, the Yacht Club and the pier. It was a magical week.

Our family of four had a perfect trip. Thank you for having us.

Everything was just as advertised - except that the location was even more picture perfect! Very comfortable condo. Very good quality bedding. Fully equipped - we found everything we needed from the blender for smoothies to the full array of beach equipment including a paddle board and kayak. Will definitely book again for a fabulous break for the 2 of us.

The condo was beautiful, was just as advertised. The pool was excellent and the location was very secluded and quiet. The only negative was the amount of sea grass in the lagoon, which is certainly no fault of the condo owner. As we understand it, the sea grass is quite the nuisance around the island. Fresh sand at the beach would be great! Overall our stay was magnificent and we would rent Kaibo #19 for our next trip to Cayman! Thank you Donna.

Great place to stay. Clean and ready to feel comfortable in. Nice area. A few restaurants around but the main part of the island is only 20 minutes away. Just have to get use to driving on the wrong side of the road. Haha. Definitely stay again

Perfect place ......would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a quiet piece of paradise. Loved going down to starfish point every afternoon to sit our chairs out in the water or float around on our rafts. My son jumped on the paddle board every day with some friends he met and exploded the marine life. Only thing that Iwould have been nice for our family would have been one additional paddle board- but people are so willing to share we made it work. We will definitely be back. It’s definitely the vacation to beat!

Loved the condo - kitchen was stocked including our favorite appliance the blender/food processor! Tons of beach towels and extra sheets and towels. Kids (ages 8 and 10) loved the games and sitting on the covered porch. SUP and kayak were well used too. Loved the keyless entry too. We do have to agree that the master bed is super hard which affected my husband. Only other suggestion would be to have a more inclusive binder with local info. We enjoyed Stingray City with Chris from White Sand Water Sports, White Sand Water sports snorkeling on east end, horseback riding on West Bay, and touring the caves only a short distance from the condo. Proximity to Rum Point and of course the restaurant at Kaibo was great - highly recommend the Tuesday night bbq!! Starfish were gorgeous and also kids had fun looking for other marine life in the cove. The pool was wonderful! Pam and her staff were super responsive to a minor maintenance issue. They were on it in n time! Super helpful and appreciated!

Loved our stay at Kaibo #19! Unit was very nice with a fantastic view of the pool and lagoon. 2 teenagers had plenty to do with the beach, kayaks, and Stand UPPaddle boards. Have been coming to the Caymans for about 15 years and this was our first time to stay in the Rum Point area. It was a great choice as Georgetown and 7 mile beach is getting more cruise ship traffic these days.

The condo has a great location, it very nicely decorated and furnished. The Kitchen has everything you need and the grill was great! My kids were a little disappointed the unit had one paddle board and one kayak, because the deacirption said 2 paddle boards but they shared! The beach out front was awesome, lots of red starfish and we even saw a seahorse! The only down side about the entire trip was the extremely hard and thus uncomfortable beds! Sleep was rough because of the bed issue which over time effected the vacation but over all it was good!

Words cannot fully describe how wonderful our stay was at Cayman Kai near the Kaibo Yacht Club. This unit is super clean and beautifully maintained with all the amenities you need, including a kayak and paddle board in the storage unit (by the parking lot). We had no problems with the keyless entry and Pam, the property manager, was accessible via email, text, or telephone. This part of the island is much more laid back than Seven Mile Beach, yet there was so much to see and do, including snorkeling, kayaking, boat tours, and a water taxi to Camana Bay. I would highly recommend staying here - it's perfect for a couple or family of four. We'll be back!

The owners of this condo have made every effort to make it beautiful and comfortable. We absolutely loved it! The grounds are gorgeous and well kept and comfortable. The condo itself is lovely. Everything was in working order. The linens are just beautiful! We contacted Pam a few times for help in locating the condo and where to find the paddle board. The swimming pool was used by my kids constantly. They provide nearly everything (except food of course). If I had to change anything I would love it if they would have a kayak, bikes maybe? Only would add to an already perfect place. But we, if they are willing, would rent again in a heart beat. My kiddo in tears this morning at having to leave this little piece of heaven. My kids took a intro to diving course and has opened up a whole new world to them. Thank you to the owners for providing a beautiful home away from home.

We spent the week of Christmas and my daughter's 15th birthday at the Colonial Kai in the Cayman Islands. The balcony view of the pool, beach and ocean were absolutely amazing! We also loved being right next door to the Yacht Club for meals and drinks. The issue we had was with the condo itself. When we arrived, the keypad on the door did not work. We called the property manager and was told we most likely were timed out because we entered the code wrong. She explained that we had to wait 15 minutes and then try again. We did this twice but were still unable to get into the condo (keep in mind this is after traveling all day and having several bags of groceries with us). We called her back again explaining that the door was still locked and we wanted her to please bring us a key. At this point she reluctantly agreed to come but said she was close to an hour away. We tried the door again and was finally able to get it opened ... this was over an hour after we arrived. We called the property manager back and she said great, problem solved. Seriously?! Sadly.... problem wasn't solved. For the next 2 days we found that we were either locked out of the condo or unable to lock the door. The air mattress listed in the description that my son was suppose to sleep on was missing. Ironically, she brought it with her on check out day (nice, right!). Both of the smoke dectors in the unit needed new batteries. They beeped intermittently all day & night until we had to remove both batteries. The light in the front bedroom would not stay on. You had to literally hold it in or it would just switch off. The flip phone that was suppose to be loaded with $10 worth of minutes for local calls was empty. We called the property manager back from our phone explaining all this but felt bad since it was Christmas. We asked that she please come Sunday morning. She did not arrive until 12:30. She said she had to check other guests in. Great! Thanks for making us feel like a priority! Once she arrived, she changed the battery on the key pad and left us a key. However, she did not address ANY of the other issues. All of this was very frustrating and disappointing, especially considering what we paid for the week. The Cayman Islands were amazing but this condo gets two thumbs down! It's poorly maintained & the customer service was horrible. I would never recommend this specific unit to anyone!

I have stayed at a few of the condos at Cayman Kai and this was by far my favorite. From the décor to the accessories I was more than pleased. I would request this condo any time we stay in North Side.
