Cette maison unique en son genre est située juste à côté du parc d'État Warren Dunes et se trouve à quelques pas du lac. Cette belle maison dispose d'un tout nouveau grand porche avec une option de repas en plein air et un lit de repos qui pourrait être une option de couchage supplémentaire.
Il y a 2 chambres à coucher, une avec un lit king size, l'autre une reine. Une pièce à l'arrière de la cuisine a 2 lits de repos qui fait office de salon ou de chambre supplémentaire. Zone de barbecue à l'extérieur avec des sièges supplémentaires. Laveuse et sécheuse sur place. Nous voulons que vous vous sentiez chez vous et avons essayé de fournir tout ce dont nous pensons avoir besoin! C'est un excellent domaine à explorer! This house is a lot of fun! It is artfully decorated- not a boring corner in this place! We had everything we could possibly need from kitchen utensils to books, games and beach equipment.
Location was really wonderful as well, with a short walk/drive to the beach and a neat fish market next door, as well as many antique stores, farms and wineries nearby.
There is a grill and a firepit available and we took advantage of both. We would love to return!

This is a great place that we’ve been to twice. Will be back again. Great location and amenities. Comfortable beds, clean, well appointed kitchen and host is easy to communicate with.

This home was beautifully and artistically decorated. It was more spacious than expected based on looking at the pictures. This home was perfect for a girls getaway. The host responded quickly and even allowed us to put our recycling in their bin. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook with. We enjoyed playing games on the porch at night. The beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. We were even able to do a load of laundry in the basement laundry room. My only complaint is that the walk to the beach was rather difficult. It took a solid 30+ minutes. The neighborhood is safe that we walked through, but then we had to walk down a dirt path into the Warren Dunes state park. There is not a sidewalk in the state park, so we had to walk along the side of the road. The stairs in the park were rounded and worn; my family member fell down them. We were exhausted by the time we got to the beach. I would highly suggest driving to the beach, but it’ll cost you a state park fee ($11?) every time you enter.

This property is easy on the eyes as its decor and touches are well thought out and in balance. The rustic charm of the property was a nice touch without being run down. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed the back room with twin beds and a tv for a rainy afternoon. Internet could be a laggy on tv but expected when your in a remote area.
The attention to nicer products such as soaps, shampoos/conditioner and body wash were much appreciated. Nice toilet paper too, which is always nice. The towels and sheets were all great quality and furniture was comfortable. We could have used a few more kids bowls and spoons but probably because we ate cereal every morning before the beach.
The grill was ok and outside space was good, fire pit area, outside dining area, You have access to front yard which is where the screened porch is (this is a shared yard property). The real gem is the screened in front porch.
The property had many unique sculptures and fountains that made it really pleasant. Parking is in the circle drive under a tree or on the street. The street is not busy at all and right off red arrow hwy(some traffic noise but not terrible) a meat local market is steps away and had the best desserts as well. The fruit stand was around the corner and also walkable. An amazing array of seasonal fruits and jams sweet corn. The beach is about 15 min walk but after testing it out we choose to drive and pay the $11 entrance fee per day. Thx for the great stay and opening up your home!

Very cute, quaint, and well-maintained home-away-from-home. A great size for the six of us (one night) and then for my husband and myself the last two nights. Unfortunately, we probably got the worst weather of the season so were unable to use the beautiful screened-in porch. Very close proximity to Warren Dunes which was also great. We would not hesitate to rent here again.

Quiet, clean, and close to Lake Michigan attractions but the interesting pieces of art within the house are wonderful. Then wander to the yard to see more thoughtful sculptures. Spacious and comfortable.

What a beautiful cottage! The property is exactly as it appears in the pictures. It's spotless and beautiful. Lake Michigan is about 3 miles away. Many local wineries to visit. The five of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Votes are in and we will be back. We'd also like Lisa to come and decorate our homes. 🙂

The house was very well set up and in an excellent location. Minutes from the dunes and Silver Beach. The host were extremely friendly and their itinerary was very helpful. We will come back for sure!!!

This place is a great location and well kept! Very short drive to all the local wineries, breweries and shopping in st joe. Walking distance to the beach to enjoy the sunsets! This was my second stay at the property and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Will be back soon hopefully!

Great Stay in Sawyer!
We loved our long weekend in Sawyer, mostly because of this amazing house. The house itself is beautiful, full of cozy spaces and thoughtful touches. We enjoyed sitting on the porch each morning. The house is in a great location - within walking distance to the dunes, and close to many other attractions. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect girl’s getaway!
The house was beautiful and just as pictured. Lisa the host was quick to respond and flexible with our needs. Check in and out was a breeze. It’s was also a great location for the hiking we did at Indiana Dunes, Warren Dunes & Grand Mere. Along with exploring the cute towns of New Buffalo & St. Joseph. We had a great time!

My friends spent a long weekend in this fantastic house. We loved the inclosed porch for meals and games. The house was super clean and had everything you needed and more. Lisa was fantastic to work with and responded quickly to any questions! My friends and I highly recommend this fantastic house!

Beautiful, peaceful stay
Brandon and Lisa, the owners, are wonderful, gracious hosts and were always responsive. The house is absolutely immaculate, beautifully designed and has gorgeous artwork and vintage treasures. There is not a thing they didn’t think of when they decided to open their home to guests. We loved our stay! We spent lots of time eating together as a family and playing games on the screened in porch. My kids read daily in the egg-shaped chairs or in the cute little bunk room at the back of the house.
The beach was just a short walk away so we took advantage of that too. There’s also a fruit market and meat market just around the corner. The home and property are so charming and our visit was relaxing. We’ll definitely be back again!

Another Great Trip to Lake MI!
The house was a perfect lake cottage mixing the charming older traditional of yesterday with interesting artistic touches . Our family loved the huge screen porch to play games and enjoy morning coffee and reading . The quality of linens and towels were top notch . The kids loved their bedroom and had the sun porch to play in . There are 4 in our family but 6 people would have fit well. Location is perfect with Warren Dunes entrance one street over ( you can walk too from house into the park) , the produce stand just down the street and wineries / shops and restaurants / grocery 10 min drive away. We have been coming up to Lake MI and this area for years and would give our trip and the house accommodations two thumbs up!
Recommend: Roma pizza , Lake House restaurant , Swedish Bakery, and Captain Mikes Fun Park

Great 4 night escape
Property is beyond delightful--offering eclectic beauty and comfort. Interesting art, antiques, and a bit of whimsy throughout. Lovely yard, fantastic screen porch, many songbirds/ cardinals. Place was very clean, beds comfy, linens and towels nice. Ample toilet paper, kitchen items, cleaning supplies, etc. Even large bottle of body wash and basket of mini toiletries. I did communicate with host once shortly after arrival. She got back to me in about an hour and was kind in her response. Loved the checkout expectations--just run dishwasher and take out trash. (Nothing telling me to launder sheets and towels for hours before 10am departure)! We would love to return!

Weather Was Marvelous!
We booked last second once we saw the forecast for Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed everything the house, Sawyer, and Warren Dunes offered.
The kids loved the egg chairs on the covered porch and spent their mornings gaming and reading together. Afternoons were for adventures into Warren Dunes where we were lucky to see a Hogsnose snake near the Painterville Drain.
The house was great. We hope to be back soon!

Fabulous spot, perfect location
I really can't say enough nice things about this home. It's beautifully decorated, and Lisa was very gracious and accomodating. She even put together an incredibly helpful guest book with all kinds of great recommendations! The location is perfect - literally a 1 minute drive to the state park, and the beach is beautiful and uncrowded. We will definitely be returning!

Convenient, comfortable and stylish
We enjoyed our time at this property... the decor was eclectic and artful. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The location was great for getting to Warren Dunes and the beach, the wineries and both St. Joseph and Benton Harbor. Although we enjoyed the restaurants and didn't cook at the property, it seemed very well equipped with all amenities. The screened porch was awesome... we really enjoyed it!

Perfect for our extended weekend!
I can't rave enough about this property or the owners. Brandon was quick to respond every time with any question. The property was adorable, super clean, and very conveniently located. We were less than a mile from the state park for hiking, and we drove 15 min to New Buffalo for dinner. We literally spent 80% of our time at the house on the screened in porch which was an amazing space. We did not want to leave it was so relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you Lisa and Brandon for providing us with an exceptional experience on our ONLY vacation this summer! We will absolutely be back.
Disclosure: The only thing I would recommend to others is if you plan on cooking, maybe bring a pan or two. Cookwear was hard to cook with... but in the overall scheme of things... not important... I had just planned on doing some cooking which didn't go to well. Next time I will bring my griddle!

ADORABLE Cottage!!!
This cottage couldn’t be more cute! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood just close enough to the dunes. The screened in porch was our favorite!! The decor and the cleanliness of the house made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend. We are 40ish year old women who stayed there for girls weekend and it was great! Dune hike is a must!!!!

Visiting Warren Dunes State Park
The online pictures of this property are accurate. Fun decor, very clean, roomy house, comfortable beds and well stocked. We very much enjoyed the screened in porch and spent most of our time out there in the evenings. The kids loved the State Park which was right around the corner, 5 minute drive. The kids enjoyed sand sledding. The beach area is very clean and there are food trucks and ice cream stands at the beach which was convenient. This is a great place to visit.
