Private Ocean Front property with bathing cove and deep water swimming
Vérifiez celui-ci! Quel endroit! Situé presque à la pointe de la péninsule Gun Point sur Great Island, cet emplacement offre des vues spectaculaires sur la baie de Casco. Face au sud-ouest, on peut admirer des couchers de soleil exceptionnels derrière les îles Orr et Bailey à travers Gun Point Cove, et admirer l'immensité de la mer ouverte de Casco Bay au-delà, tout en profitant de la chaleur du soleil couchant. Le cap bien entretenu de 3 chambres est au bord de l'océan. Le mouvement des eaux de marée vous apaisera et vous détendra pour rendre votre escapade inoubliable. Pour les enfants de tous âges, la crique de baignade, formée par les rebords et juste à l'avant, offre un grand plaisir pour nager à marée haute et explorer les bassins de marée pour les créatures marines à marée basse pour ne pas laisser de côté la collection de coquillages de toutes formes et tailles. Et pour les nageurs plus âgés et expérimentés, un quai est parfois partagé avec les propriétaires pour nager en eau profonde à toute marée. C'est un endroit très calme mais proche des plages publiques. Les visites touristiques à travers des villes côtières pittoresques sont un must. Vous ne serez pas déçu. Our family had a wonderful time in Harpswell and will gladly return if we're able to arrange it! The location of this home is beautifully scenic and though other homes are nearby it always felt nicely private. Watching lobster boats troll nearby to check their traps daily, sharing space with sea life in the tidal pools, and enjoying the seclusion of coastal Maine living all combined to make out time there a great reprieve from normal day-to-day responsibilities. Liliette was a gracious, friendly host, informative but never intrusive, and communicated promptly in response to any inquiries. Thank you so much for a very favorable experience!

Excellent location on Gun Point Cove. Beautiful views and sunsets over the water. Enjoyed peaceful mornings sipping coffee on the deck. Fresh seafood available within a short drive.

Farmers markets, historic towns, music, theater, hiking, kayaking and other activities nearby. All kinds of shopping, tours, and entertainment are available in Portland, an hour away. A little further south there’s outlet shopping at Freeport. We have stayed here for years and plan to continue.

This was a very clean, tidy, and lovely home on the rock cliffs with its own swimming hole at high tide. It was convenient for shopping and visiting quaint gift shops. Sunset views were phenomenal!The owner is very friendly and helpful with answers to our questions about local places to visit. I would stay here again in the future.

The house was welcoming and right on the water. The views were amazing over the water. The beds were comfortable. We launched our kayaks from the dock. We found seaglass in the tidal pool and waded and swam during high tide. The deck was large and had plenty of seating.

We had a fabulous stay sipping hot tea each morning on the deck overlooking the beautiful waterfront. We also enjoyed launching our kayaks from the dock and swimming off the dock. Liliette was kind and helpful to answer any questions we had. It’s a gem!

There was so much to love about this place! Such an amazing view from the large windows in the open kitchen / living room area. The house is very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Tide pool exploring was top notch, and the floating dock was our favorite place to relax - beautiful sunsets, the birds, fish jumping out of the water, the lobster boats, and we even saw some seals. Plenty of great places to eat and to explore within 30 min. A few things of note: no washer/dryer, but Brunswick has several laundromats. The two queen beds are very comfortable, but the twin beds aren't particularly. The two upstairs bedrooms (a twin set in one, queen in the other) have amazing views of the ocean, the main floor queen bedroom is on the back side of the house. The house is situated between two others, so not super private if that is what you are looking for, but still has a secluded feel being in a wooded area, and a mile and a half down a dirt road with 20 mph speed limit. Liliette is a wonderful host, very friendly and accessible for any questions, help or suggestions. This was our favorite vacation rental in Maine that we have stayed at. Grateful for such a wonderful place to for our vacation!

My family of five (kids age 10, 7, and 4) just had the most amazing stay at this property. It’s full of unique original charm, was super clean upon check in and freshly stocked with linens and all that we needed to be comfortable. The host was warm and welcoming - she greeted us at the property and saw us off at the end of our stay. My kids loved the deep water dock swimming and the cove was perfect for finding creatures and swimming/exploring in shallower water. The view of the cove at night took our breath away! The location was also perfect for day tripping to explore other local areas. We hope to return one day!

My husband, 9-year old son and I truly enjoyed our stay. The house is perfectly situated for kayaking, swimming, fishing and bird watching. Liliette was a wonderful host and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. We rented kayaks for the week from H2Outfitters. We hope to be back next year.

My family had a vacation we will never forget in Harpswell.The property is ideal for all kinds of activities - swimming, fishing, snorkeling, picking mussels for dinner and sitting back to watch the boats go by. We purchased a pair of binoculars midweek to better view seals, bald eagles and boats. Beautiful property and excellent accommodations. Very nice hosts!

Liliette was attentive and welcoming. My kids loved the cove. They floated in it when it was high and hunted for hermit crabs when it was low. My husband took his paddle board out several times. Great view. Very relaxing. Hope to stay again next year.
